WiFiBlast is a SCAM. Do not let them have control of your laptop/computer.

Stay clear away from WiFiBlast. IT'S a SCAM!!!! They've called me a few times and it's always come up as Private Number. They say they need to reconfigure my device. I've never used it as it didn't work. The Indian sounding man wanted me to download "anydesk". I questioned him on it as he wanted me to read out the 9 digit number so he could access my laptop. He said he could see that number but was unable to read it out to me as the call was being recorded. I asked him to at least tell me the first or last digit if he supposedly had my number and he wouldn't. I quickly googled Wifiblast and came up with the reviews that it was a scam as I was on the phone with him. I questioned him about it and he tried to reassure me that he was calling from the US and he was from the Help and Support department. I could also hear many other voices in the background and they ALL sounded Indian or of that type. I'm not racist but don't tell me this is legit when it's not. I told him it was a scam and to earn his money the right way and the conversation was ended.

Wordless product

Don’t buy this product. If it’s good to be true. Don’t trust this product. I bought two, and one was already broken. The second one, I was able to instal but the signal was poor 2,5 mps instead of the promised 300 mps? You have to ship te product back tot a 3rd party in the right condition. Before they refund it back to you. They even try to give a 65% refund if you keep the items. But that’s is not what it says on their site. 100% refund if your not satisfied whit the product!! One word,
Wordless!!

INDIA MEN SCAMMERS !! NO CONNECTION TO WIFIBLAST

ATTENTION!
There are India men calling, stating they will charge you $499.00, but if you want to get a refund this is then when they offer to help you get the refund form. They want you to push either the Microsoft emblem and r, or the key next to the Microsoft emblem key and the r. Doing this will actually help them to enter your system and get all your private information.
I called Wifiblast CS and they informed me this was not them and the purchase was a one time purchase only. There is no subscription. I have been playing these two India individuals today, just so I could talk to PayPal and the company.
BEWARE OF THE SCAM THAT TWO-THREE INDIA MEN ARE USING WIFIBLAST TO SCAM US AMERICANS.
DO NOT FALL FOR THE SCAMMERS THAT HAVE NO CONNECTION TO WIFIBLAST!!!

This product does not work

This product does not work. The company contacts you saying that it is not configured correctly. They then request access to your computer claiming to rectify the problem. This fails. They then attempt to persuade you to upgrade to the latest model. If you decline this offer they will then offer a refund.
Sometime later, in my case 2 weeks, a second caller (David ID 3495 with an identifiable accent) wanted to test the device again. The device did not work so he offered a refund, all I had to do was allow them (the refund dept in NY USA) to connect to my computer, using Teamviewer, so they could send an electronic claim form. They would not email the document. I terminated the conversation believing that it was a scam.
Do not have anything to do with this company.
If you have slow internet you may increase the range but not the speed with this device.

This product is a scam

This product is a scam. I now get called every day saying we're sorry but you need to upgrade your system so we'll guide you through it. Absolute BS as i never used this piece of rubbish as the set-up online looked dodgy so binned it. They call on a private number so that's the first red flag. Next red flag is them guiding me when I log on mmmmm yeah right you're there to help. Stay clear of this scam.

PS they are dare I say it, from India or similar country that's the big red flag for me.

Please

Please, any wouldbe buyers BEWARE: Do not deal or buy WifiBlast mini Wifi Repeater! It does not work! When you contact them about it they readily agree to a refund and want to guide you through the procedure, before you know it they have taken over your computer and tell you that you seem to have a very slow system, possibly caused by an old anti virus system and proceed to uninstall it. Then you are asked to put in the amount and then mysteriously the amount comes in without a decimal point, in this case $ 6000,00 instead of $60,00 - and they blame you for this mistake and make you feel guilty as the girl { Renee Wilson } in this case might loose her job. Now they want you refund the money to them and in order to do that they want details of your bank account, and within a blink you have lost $6000.00

ow they want you to refund the money to them and in order to do that they want details of your bank account, and within a blink you,ll have lost $6000,00

I just had an experience with this…

I just had an experience with this company. I noticed when I was checking out that they had charged me £8.10 shipping for a 'free' gift so tried to cancel the transaction by paging back = the page froze and I had to quit out of it. At no time did I complete this transaction so, imagine my surprise when I received an email confirming my purchase! I immediately emailed them to tell them that I had not completed on this sale and then went to Paypal and raised a complaint, which has limited my paypal account due to 'suspicious' activity. A few minutes later I received an email from the company saying I have been refunded. I checked Paypal and they have indeed refunded the amounts, I just have to now wait for those credits to appear in my bank account as the money has been taken. What a load of nonsense, they acted quickly though when I said I had complained to paypal so, hopefully disaster averted... had to change my password on paypal and now have to wait for a transaction my bank account to confirm my card again... Is nothing safe nowadays???

This is a scam

This is a scam - lost $2,000 to this. If you get a call from Renee, Jodie, Jordan or Oliver - hang up immediately. They ask you to download software onto your PC and then take over your machine while you are watching, all the while reassuring you that everything is ok. All is not OK

SCAM

This is a con/scam. After u buy u will receive a phone requesting confirmation that u purchased one of these. U will then be advised there is a problem with the product & needs to be reconfigured & this can be done by giving (in my case an Indian gentleman, Dave Hunter, an executive of the Company when asked his position) by giving them access to ur computer to remedy the problem. When return phone number given you are connected to an entirely different Company which has never heard of WiFiBlast. A total scam & I suspect u will be in deep trouble if u allow them direct access to ur computer.

Do not buy this product

Do not buy this product. There is an associated scam where the product stops working and someone mysteriously calls you soon afterwards needing access to your computer to “configure” it. Do not let anyone who calls you have remote access to your computer. It is very dangerous and sneaky

Does not deliver the advertised download speed - not worth the cost

OK, I have acquired several of these 'wifi blasters' from different sources and they all have one thing in common - they are not very good! Most of the adverts you see for these have glowing reports of how good they are - 'up to 300 mbs' is a common claim.

The best I have managed thus far, is around 7 mbs download speed - this in a location where cable broadband is delivering 100+ mbs and branded repeaters/extenders are delivering between 40-80 mbs depending on time of day and distance from the router. In short, sellers are charging GBP 30+ for a generic Chinese manufactured low grade device.

If you want a good result, spend the extra expense on a guaranteed quality brand.

COWBOYS, DON'T TOUCH THIS WITH A BARGEPOLE

What cowboys, totally useless product. Ordered in November 2020, took a month to arrive in UK.
Needed an extender to boost WiFi in my office, but this is absolute junk. It sort of works, cutting my download speed on my HP Windows 10 PC from 20 MBs to 4 MBs, and the signal strength from 60% to 25%. Unfortunately I used Paypal, who are totally useless, just going round in circles, and expect me to pay nearly £16 to return the unit for "full refund", not including any shipping costs.
Don't believe that would ever happen, wiSh I'd just used my credit card, and could claim chargeback.
Bryan in UK

UPDATE: May 2021 Asked my bank for a chargeback as used my Natwest credit card for PayPal, HAD FULL REFUND WITHIN A WEEK - RESULT

I purchased WiFiBlast from their website

I purchased WiFiBlast from their web site in June 2020 and it worked for 6months then stopped. Kept disconnecting and would not stay connected. I contacted the company and was told it was only warranted for 90days so nothing they would do. Not happy with this at all. Believe any product should be under warranty for at least 12months in Australia.

Their contact address…

When you look at their contact address in the UK, it shows 415 High Street, Stratford. If you use Google Maps StreetView, you will see that this is a drop-off/pick-up point for dry cleaning. Need I say more.
