The WiFi was fine but they don’t return the deposit. It’s been over a month since returned and still no deposit! They don’t reply to any emails. I continuously check my junk mail!

Hello Valerie.

Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. We are glad to know the device was a great help when you needed it.

This has been investigated and I can see from our system that your hire ended on the 1st of January.

I have checked the Royal mail return tracking page and it shows you posted back the device on the 6th of January 5 days after your hire ended.

A hire can be extended for if needed for longer than the period it was hired for by either emailing us to request a hire extension or using the hire extension link included in the hire confirmation email you received after placing a hire.

Regarding the response to your emails, I can see from the customer service inbox that a customer service team member responded to your emails 4 times on different days. Please check your spam folder.

Sorry for any inconvenience experienced.

read the small print

Product was really good ,however my issue was id moved into a house over the xmas period and had no way of sending the product back on time due to the bank holiday .Had no access to work email even tho i emailed the company from a different email address i needed the code to extend which was not available .I posted back on the 1st available day but they took my whole deposit without even bothering to notify .Just blunt you lost your money email doesn't sit right and hiding behind terms and conditions in small print is just a little harsh. Great product poor customer service i think is fare to say

Hello Gareth.

Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. We are glad to know the device was a great help when you needed it.

I have investigated this, and I can see from the customer service inbox that you requested an extension of your hire via your work email on the 24th of December, and a customer service team member provided the extension link in response to your email.

Also, I can see from our system that your hire ended on the 25th of December 2025, but unfortunately, I can also see the device was not returned on the 27th or 29th of December 2025, which were days when post offices were open.
As the device was returned 5 days after the hire ended, it unfortunately triggered the late return fee

The Royal mail return tracking page shows you returned the on the 30th of December 5 days after your hire had ended.

A hire can be extended if needed for longer than the period it was hired for by either emailing us to request a hire extension or using the hire extension link included in the hire confirmation email you received after placing a hire.

Very fast and easy

Very fast and easy. Router arrived very quickly, and worked out of the box. We just plugged it in and turned it on. Great signal strength throughout the house and really good connection speeds. Returning the router was also straight forward- we used the prepaid label and reused the packaging.

Router itself was pretty grubby and a little warn, but we accepted that was going to be the case for a short term rental device.

Would recommend and we would use again.

Hello Angela.

Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. We are glad to know the device was a great help when you needed it.

Based on the issue described in your feedback, it's highly likely a local signal mast serving your area may have been experiencing a failure or damages, and this is usually scheduled for repairs by the network provider as fast as possible to get everyone in the local area back to a good speed.

In situations where there is a local/regional telecom mast issue affecting the local area where a device is being used, our standard procedure involves investigating the speed issue first to identify the cause and see if it can be resolved remotely. We then check to see if an alternative network (which isn't experiencing a telecom mast issue at that local area) is available.
If an alternative network is available, we quickly arrange for a replacement device to be delivered to your address.

Unfortunately, we were not made aware of this, so we were unable to investigate the issue during your hiring period.

Sorry for any inconvenience experienced.

Highly recommend for a temporary internet fix.

I was thrilled to find this company during a recent house move and decided to give them a try while I waited for a new broadband setup and installation over the festive period.
Very easy to set up and get online, zero issues in that regard. For anyone wondering about the quality of the network, be aware that this is equivalent to using your mobile phone data. The SIM inside the router I was sent was from 3 Mobile. Speeds weren't lightning fast, but they were adequate to get me by until my broadband installation. I managed to stream TV & movies via Netflix and the likes, but this connection will not allow you to game online. It is too unstable for that.
All in all, this company was a lifesaver during the festive season when I could have been struggling to stay online during a very busy time of the year coupled with a house move. Highly recommend for a temporary internet fix.

Hello Scott.

Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. We are glad to know that the device was able to serve as a temporary solution while waiting for your broadband installation.

The device can be used for online gaming, movie streaming and connecting to a smart TV.

But based on the online gaming issue you described in your feedback, it's highly likely a local signal mast serving your area may have been experiencing a failure or damages, and this is usually scheduled for repairs by the network provider as fast as possible to get everyone in the local area back to a good speed.

Good fast service but sneaky T&Cs

Good fast service which I needed. However, in order to ensure my product arrived on time I had to pay for the hire the day before I needed it to be switched on. Other providers will only charge you from the day it is used. WifiHire switches off the service at 12pm the day of termination. Why!? It's not a hotel room they need to clean and prep for next person. Other providers give you the whole day. In short, this becomes more expensive. I would go back to previous supplier next time.

Hello Warwick,
Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. We are glad to know that the service was good and fast when you needed it.

Hired devices are delivered on hire start dates (including Sundays, but excluding UK public holidays) or may arrive 1 day in advance as a courtesy (when possible) which is written on the delivery and return page on the website. If you required the device to be delivered earlier, we would have dispatched the device for delivery 1 day in advance as a courtesy.

I have investigated this and I can see from our system that the device you hired was a Europe device which was delivered to your UK address on your hire start date. The data on the device is always active which means you can start accessing the internet on the device once you receive it.

After looking through the customer service inbox, I can see that you did not send a request via your hire confirmation email to have the device delivered earlier. The device would have been delivered 1 day in advance as a courtesy if you had sent us a request.

Regarding switching off the data on the device, I have looked into the hire log and can see the device was not switched off on the end of hire date.

I have also checked the Royal mail return page via the courtesy return label and it shows you posted back the device on your hire end date.

Sorry for any inconvenience experienced.

Did a job to an extent but overall not…

Did a job to an extent but overall not a good product in my opinion. Very overpriced and have to pay £150 deposit. When being refunded the deposit the delivery is taken out which is very underhanded but is in small print. The product itself is disappointing, paying a premium expect high speeds but the reality is it can only be as good as the 4 / 5g signal. The product does not perform any better than a standard mifi dongle which you can get for a fraction of the cost and longer duration elsewhere. Def suited to very short term (days) hire corp type hires than residential.

Hello Peter,
Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. We apologize for any inconvenience experienced.

We have a variety of devices available for hire and the deposit for each device differs. We don't deduct delivery fee from the refundable deposit. The delivery charge is normally added at the checkout page when paying for the hire (and also tagged as delivery fee).

We actually subsidise the cost of delivery and packaging, as the device you hired actually cost more to package and deliver than what we charge for delivery. The package also included a Free return postage label for customers to use in posting the device back to us at the end of their hire period. The full cost of the return postage label is also covered by us as a courtesy, to make it easier for customers

I have investigated this and I can see the exact deposit you paid was refunded into your account after we received the device.

Based on the speeds described in your feedback, it's highly likely a local signal mast serving your area may have been experiencing a failure or damages, and this is usually scheduled for repairs by the network provider as fast as possible to get everyone in the local area back to a good speed.

Excellent -everything worked perfectly

Excellent -everything worked perfectly
I ordered quickly and easily on their website. The router arrived quickly, set up took a couple of minutes and worked very well in every room in the house, I extended the hire period a couple of times and this was very quick and simple to do. They send you emails letting you know that your hire period is coming to an end so you don't forget to return the router on time. At the end of the hire period I returned the router as per their instructions and was refunded my deposit in a matter of days. I would recommend that people check that they have good 4G reception in their area before hiring. I used signalchecker.co.uk . It is not often I get the chance to say a service was excellent but in this case it was. Whole heartedly recommended

I was really impressed with the lead…

I was really impressed with the lead time for delivery of the Wifi box, even during the busiest time of the year. The Wifi was trivially easy to set up, reliable and good value for money. The return was straightforward, and the deposit repaid promptly.

I have no issue with the system working…

I have no issue with the system working . But I did not revive a confirmation email . I have been trying for a few days to check the end date and that I have lost my return label . I need to get a new label and have confirmation of end date . I ordered on 27/12 my hire started 29/12 but it did not arrive until 30 /12 . So does that mean 13 /01/26 end date ?

Hello Kirsten,
Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. We apologise for any inconvenience experienced.

When you placed your order, you would have received 2 emails
• A payment receipt
• A hire confirmation email (Reply this email, Please check your inbox/junk/spam folder)

I have investigated this and I can see that your order was received on Saturday the 27th of December 2025 at 19:23 after our closing hours. I can also see that you chose Monday the 29th of December as your hire start date.

Our fastest delivery is a next working day delivery service. Your order was received after our last dispatch on Saturday. Given that Sundays are none office days in the UK, the courier service company we work with does not pickup items for dispatch on Sundays. Hence your assigned device was dispatched on Monday the 29th of December 2025 to arrive at your address the next day on Tuesday the 30th of December 2025. Hence your hire will end on Tuesday the 13th of January.

I can see this is an ongoing hire and I can also see from our customer service inbox, the customer service team has provided the required support regarding your end of hire date and how to return the device.

Given Trustpilot wouldn't be an ideal place to provide customer service for an ongoing hire, i would recommend you contact the customer service team if your require further assistance, so that they can be in the best position to support you.

Sorry for any inconvenience experienced.

Hello Brian.

Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback and season’s greetings.

This has been looked into and I can see from the Royal mail return postage tracking page that you posted back the device 3 days late (3 days after your end of hire date). Hence the reason there was a late return fees charged for the 3 days late return.

A hire can be extended for longer if it's needed for longer than the period it was hired for by either emailing us to request a hire extension or using the hire extension link in the hire confirmation email received after placing a hire.
