I was thrilled after receiving a Wilde & Harte Eltham safety razor as a gift. The handle has been beautifully and elegantly designed with a strong sense of the Art Deco era and beautifully machined and finished with an impeccably high mirror finish polish. I love the monogrammed WH insert at the base of the handle too, which gives another feeling of opulence to this already very stylish razor.
When you first load a blade and hold this razor in your hand you can feel the quality. While being extremely stylish it has an ergonomically designed handle which fits perfectly into your hand, nicely weighted and balanced. The whole razor weighed in at 111g with my Astra Blue blade fitted.
Traditional wet shaving is making somewhat of a comeback with the disposal of plastic much in the news lately. So, may I say if you are thinking of buying this razor as a gift for a loved one who hasn't used a traditional safety razor before then you can't go wrong with the Eltham. It's an extremely smooth and mild razor with a narrow blade gap making it the perfect everyday razor to shave with and it would grace any bathroom with its style and elegance.
I'm a collector of razors, both vintage and modern and I have well over a hundred in my collection and I can safely say that this is my 'Go to razor.'
If you shave everyday then why not make it a pleasurable experience with a traditional wet shave using this beautiful Eltham razor, shaving brush and a quality shaving soap.

Ordered a razor and stand as a present for my husband’s birthday. Was very pleased to find they’re great quality and weighted just right! My husband loves them ( brownie points for me). Was lucky enough that at the time of ordering there was a special offer that included some shaving foam, this smells absolutely gorgeous. In all I can totally recommend the products and service..

A small part of my Eltham razor broke, a tiny plastic lug which holds the Mach3 razor head in place. Paul from W&H offered me a couple of options and sent a replacement in the post. All done very quickly and efficiently. Thanks you.

I recieved my Wilde & Harte razor as a gift and was instantly wowed!!! Previously I had used disposable razors...………. never again, my razor is highly polished and a dream to use as the contours of the razor make it easy to use and hold when moving with the contours of my skin when shaving. it leaves my skin as smooth as it feels to touch. The person that designed these razors definitely considered all aspects when making them. I would highly recommend these for a personal treat or special gift and know I will never look back.

I started shaving with a security razor about 5 years ago with a "Future". Deutsch quality. A little bit heavy but very efficient; some times too much... In august 2018, I fell in love with the W&H Osterley and bought it just for the design. I began to shave one week with the Future, one week with the Osterley. For more than 6 months, I use the Osterley... every day and think I will never change it. Size, weight, sweetness, ergonomics are perfect, for me. And a blade last longer (one, sometimes 2 days more). I swear that every morning, I think "what a pleasure to shave with this object".

Beautifully polished stainless steel razors designed in the UK and made in the steel city Sheffield by skilled craftsmen. Superbly balanced and a joy to use with Gillette blades. Treat yourself to the ultimate shaving experience. Have owned mine for 5 years and well worth the investment.

After some 35 years shaving, trying in that time electric, cut-throat, Wilkinson sword, Gillette and many other razors (mostly convenient and disposable). I have found what I consider to be the perfect razor, in terms of quality, balance in the hand and fitted with a Feather Hi-stainless blade, this has given me the closest and smoothest shave to date.
I enjoy this so much I will be making a present to my son and continue supporting this company. Bloody good show.

this is quite the piece of hardware, it is well balanced and a dream to use, and i use it every day!

Top quality materials and design is the reason why my razors by Wilde and Harte fall in my definition of excellence! I own a 5 blade Eltham, single blade Eltham, shaving brush, razor stand, brush stand and leather travel case. I am one of those individuals that must shave at least once sometimes twice a day. Well, since I started using my first Wilde and Harte product thus task became a lot easier and fun. Whoever designed the razor knows what he/she is doing. The razors and all articles are so well balanced which has a direct impact on the time and shave you use and get. I heard new products are now being developed! Can’t wait to see what’s new.
Now when it comes to customer service they sure mean it quality too. Since day one I started dealing with Paul who patiently and professionally was kind enough to answer every question I had before I bought their product. There are other big stores/names in the shaving business in the US and Germany well in my book they are not even close to what Wilde and Harte offers. This is a first class company that cares and stays close to me making it a great customer experience! I recommend them in all areas !

I bought a Wilde & Harte razor as an 80th birthday gift for my Dad and was amazed by the quality, it arrived quickly and was beautifully packaged, everything I expected from a made in England gift. He loves the quality and the weight of the razor and uses it every day.
