We've had several very good experiences with Wilderness, the most recent a trip to the Sea of Cortes (Mexico). All the details were well organized and clear and the trip was just as described and just what we needed in January!

Wilderness travel folks thought of everything we would need and lots of extras we were surprised by that made our trip even more enjoyable. The staff and guides are the very best in terms of their knowledge and commitment to making the trip unforgettable. Our trip was absolutely amazing in every respect.

My wife and I have been on three trips with Wilderness Travel including Botswana, Zambia, Namibia and Antartica. Wilderness Travel has always given myself and my wife excellent service and delivered trip experiences that meet or exceed our expectations. We know good service as we're experienced travelers having visited over 40 countries in Europe, Africa, Asia and South America and used a number of travel services as well as traveling on our own. Wilderness Travel provided, by far, the best customer experience I have had in my entire life, for any occasion. My trip of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with Wilderness Travel was impeccable, from the pre-trip coordination, the guides’ expertise, the accommodations, the food (even satisfying VERY difficult dietary restrictions), ensuring the comfort of a novice climber and first-time camper, and absolutely every aspect of service provided before, during and after the trip.

The highest star rating rating could not do justice to this provider. As a typical solo traveler, this was my first organized tour, and I couldn’t believe how much painstaking effort was dedicated to ensuring that there was nothing left to be desired from my experience. If you book your trip with Wilderness Travel, it is a given that you will leave with only the fondest memories, no matter how nuanced your desires are. Their efforts dedicated to ensuring the happiness of their guests are of a distinctly unique caliber.

The Indochine Tour not only met our expectations but far exceeded them. Our guide, Matthew, was extremely knowledgeable and you could tell he loved what he was doing, and the local guides shared stories of their respective countries and provided us with experiences only availed to smaller groups (there were 7 of us). This was our second trip with Wilderness Travel and will certainly not be the last. Love Wilderness Travel! And the accommodations were first rate!!

Wonderful Trip. We went to Iceland in the winter and had a fabulous time with Wilderness Travel. Everything was great but the guides are truly outstanding!

Everything about this trip was topnotch: the scenery, the guides, the food and lodging, the pace of the trip and ability to learn about the country. WT knows how to do New Zealand.

You can't go wrong with Wilderness Travel! Their trips are incredibly well planned and run. The trip leaders are always outstanding. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely the best travel company I have ever used

Great trips, excellent guides. Every trip with WR was well organized, no problems or issues. We like small group travel.

The walk from Siena to Rome was challenging but very rewarding. The guides were terrific!

We have traveled with Wilderness Travel two times and they were very memorable experiences. The staff was amazing at handling unusual events, delivering what they promised, accommodated different eating requirements, and showed true concern that we were having a great time. We have already booked another trip with them.
