**Very Disappointing Experience – Still Waiting for My Refund**

I ordered an alabaster lamp from Wildoxy. Two weeks after placing my order, I received an email informing me that the shipping costs would suddenly be almost 200.--, which was nearly the same price as the lamp itself!

I found this extremely unprofessional. Such significant shipping costs should be communicated clearly before an order is placed, not two weeks later.

As a result, I cancelled my order and requested a refund. Unfortunately, almost three weeks have now passed, and I am still waiting to receive my money back.

The entire experience has been frustrating, time-consuming and disappointing. Unexpected shipping charges combined with such a long delay in processing a refund are simply unacceptable.

★☆☆☆☆ — BEWARE: Wildoxy cancelled our order and refused to honour its advertised prices!

Absolutely disgraceful experience with Wildoxy. One of the most disappointing online shopping experiences we have encountered.

After spending considerable time choosing our lighting, and even contacting Wildoxy beforehand to clarify its returns policy, we placed an order for two pendant lampshades.

The advertised prices were £64 for the Grand and £56 for the Standard. After an advertised discount, our order total was £102.55, including shipping protection.

These were not prices we negotiated or invented. They were the prices displayed on Wildoxy's own website, which had apparently been available for some time.

Our order was subsequently cancelled.

Then, to our astonishment, we discovered that the same product was still being advertised, but at dramatically higher prices.

When we challenged Wildoxy, the company eventually admitted in writing that the cancellation was due to what it called a "pricing error", stating:

"Unfortunately, we are unable to honor the original price due to this error."

How convenient!

So customers can spend time researching products, contact the company, place orders at its advertised prices and receive order confirmations, only to discover afterwards that Wildoxy has decided those prices were apparently wrong.

And the solution? Cancel the customer's order and refuse to honour the original price.

Even after we politely requested that the matter be reconsidered or escalated to senior management as a gesture of goodwill, Wildoxy simply reiterated its refusal.

Where is the accountability? Where is the customer service? And why should customers have any confidence in the prices displayed on this website?

A genuine pricing mistake can happen. But the way a company handles that mistake tells you everything about how it values its customers.

In our experience, Wildoxy has demonstrated an astonishing lack of willingness to put things right.

We have the original order confirmation and the company's written admission regarding the pricing error.

I would strongly caution anyone considering ordering from Wildoxy. Do not assume that the price advertised and accepted at checkout is necessarily the price the company will ultimately honour.

One star. A thoroughly unacceptable experience, and a company we would not trust with another order.

I cannot recommend Wildoxy based on my experience. I purchased lights that had been listed at the same price for around a week. After placing my order, I was informed that there had been a pricing error and my order was cancelled.

While I received a refund, Wildoxy would not honour the advertised price or offer any meaningful goodwill gesture despite my efforts to resolve the matter. The entire process wasted my time and left me feeling frustrated and let down.

If you are considering ordering from this company, be aware that advertised prices may not necessarily be honoured after purchase.
