My son joined WillowWood School 5 years ago and it was not just a game changer for him but for us as a family too. Earlier struggling to cope up academically, socially and emotionally, he found a safe, positive, non-judgemental and nurturing school environment to learn and grow. Shout out to all the teachers and staff for being exceptionally understanding, patient, compassionate and supportive to help my child “Learn with Dignity”, a motto that the school unequivocally stands by.

Willowwood School has completely changed my daughters life. The school is warm and everyone is kind and accepting. The academic program is strong, and meets students where they are at academically, while offering challenges as well. Amazing teachers and staff. Truly a gem in Toronto. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a more individualized, supportive and kind environment for their child. My child is happy, confident and learning.

I cant say enough good things about WillowWood. It is a community of amazing teachers, students and parents who want only the best for your child. My son has just finished his first year here (grade 2) and has thrived . It is a great feeling knowing he is in a supportive environment that comes up with solutions to your child's learning challenges. All the teachers contribute to his success. Overall, he couldnt be happier.

Willowood is my sons “happy Place “ .It’s very rare to find an institution that that that focuses on each individual child’s well-being . Strong connections are fostered between teachers and peers through kindness, compassion and understanding. This creates a safe environment for kids to be themselves and opens them up to blossom and reach their full potential. His class teacher has built a strong bond with him and his peers where they are very supportive of each other in both class and playground and share special connections. All kids are encouraged to participate in extra murals and the team spirit is heartwarming . School plays and events are inclusive of everyone and all the kids shine doing what they love . My son previously hated being in the spotlight and performed a solo in the school play . For me this is accredited to the incredible staff who touched his heart, empowering him to feel Good enough to do it and his words at the end … I DID IT wish such pride . This is truly heartwarming . Thank you willowwood for loving him for just being him . It’s a true privilege to be part of the willowood family !

My daughter joined WillowWood summer school when she was in grade 8 to see if this is the right fit for her for high school. Her experience was amazing she did not mind studying in the summer which shows how happy she was. The teachers were so nice and helpful and answered all my questions with a big smile always. She is about to finish her first year and she is really enjoying her time studying and participating in all the extra activities they offer. As a parent I always wanted to make sure my daughter is happy safe learning and enjoying her time all this is offered by Williwwood. As a mom I can say I am so lucky to have found the school from the teachers to the administrators they are amazing and I can’t thank them enough for all their hard work patience understanding and support. The school organizes lots of activities and they try their best to let all the kids participate from the Christmas show to the yearly trip which was Japan this year (my daughter was lucky enough to go she had a blast and the trip was so organized from start to finish) to the play Annie to the spring fest. All this fun and still the kids are studying and working hard to reach their potential with the non ending support of the teachers. I can see all the improvements and changes that happened to my daughter and I am so happy and thankful for each and everyone in the school.

Our son appreciates the personal care and concern offered by teachers, principals, office staff and school counsellors, He feels safe to express his feelings and needs and request support when needed. He has felt that the teachers care about him personally and will do everything needed to set him up for success . He has enjoyed special activities and events offered by the WillowWood community such as bowling, a trip to a trampoline park, the curling club, participation in school plays and assemblies, the opportunity to share his musical abilities and last but never least the yearly breakfast lovingly prepared by the staff. He arrived at WillowWood with very low self esteem vis a vis his roles as a both a learner and a friend. He now leaves this wonderful school with both academic and social confidence. He is thoroughly enjoying, learning, deriving self-esteem from his co-op working with children with special needs which will be his field. He has been accepted in all three colleges to which he has applied and looks forward to a bright future.
As parents all school personnel were kind, patient and welcoming to us no matter how many questions we had. They all took the time to have a personal connection with us and our child.

WillowWood is a great school with strong sense of community. It feels like a big happy family. Their Pod program for Lower and middle school allow kids to navigate the subjects at their own pace (both faster or slower than their grade) so they don't get bored or overwhelmed. I have never seen anything like it in other schools that we were in. Individualized learning and one-on-one support is also another one of WillowWood's many strengths. We have been at WillowWood for 9 years and there is nothing but good memories and appreciation for this amazing school.

So thankful to have found WillowWood school for our son's high school!! They seem to understand him well and have adjusted according to his strengths and abilities and we are seeing so many positive changes overall! Absolutely no complaints. He is now well on his way to Higher studies!!
