Everything works as long as just the location of the appartment is concerned, that will be nice. But beware to file any comment in a different language than the one Wimdu is allowing you to have, or maybe to use a different language than the one of your IP location. For instance, if your IP is located in germany, and your account switched to german as a preferred language, and you try to file a comment using english language, then a stupid programmed routine steps in translating your text automatically to real rubbish witch is a pain in the eye. How can it be, that a programmer is deciding what language I'm talking in. Why is Wimdu not accepting just what I writed and that's it? This is the new world order desease. A programmed routine is correcting your say. Greetings to Snowden, he's right. Not men rule, machines rule the world. Then you may be so foolish to contact support telling, hey your webiste is driving me mad, and then they (humans!) will answer, 'please use english when wrting comments'. Yes thank you, just what I did. You may then see yourself on Orwell's path, for not even the humans know what the totalitarian structures around you or them are doing. And finally you get directed to another machine like Trustpilot, with totalitarien structure and endless labyrinthical terms of business to apply to, before being granted rights to comment.
No real human being wants to listen, wants to understand, or can understand.
And in conclusion, the company like Wimdu will not be able to correct their erratic behaviour.
But maybe this is exactly what they want.
But one thing is for sure, I will never contact Wimdu's support anymore, because this is a waste of time, my time. I will never again try to put time into wrting a decent detailed comment on Wimdu. Next time I will try to find a website for appartment location giving me direct access to the owner without all this mumbojumbo of registering, commenting and blablabla.
There are other webites for holiday appartment location.
I like wimdu, I do not need to search for People, wimdu does it for me and I do not need to take care about the payment, especially because my guests are nice People and it is a bit hard to ask them.

I like your platform. it does have some good tools, like being able to change the minimum nights booked for certain periods.
Also, tips for improving your listing are good, but i don't need to see a frowny face every time i look at my listing overview, simply because i price my apartments above average and have a stricter cancellation policy and 3 night minimum. this should be removable.
Also, i feel like you are wanting to make money from the hosts as well as the guests with professionally translated and pepped up texts. I hardly see the value in this for the end product. if a person is going to write texts for everyone, they will all start to sound the same sooner or later.
There are also things you wanted to implement, that have never happened. Where are the stars? I took my time to meet someone at my flat, and spoke a lot on the phone with your colleges, as I have a lot of flats, and wimdu promised me the stars, I do not see any stars.
at some point i got some questionnaire to make sure my apartment was up to standard for the guests, I did fire back a snappy response to that one, as one could not be expected to fill out your quality checklist every time. reviews speak for themselves.
I used to get a lot of bookings from wimdu. Not so many anymore (even though I have great reviews!). I have more apartments than those listed with you. If my business with wimdu was exploding, I would list with you first. I like the way the service started, you set up my whole account for me, and just gave me the password. You made it easy. But I need results, I need bookings, to really say all this is worth my while.

I have used WImdu several times as I prefer apartments to hotels when I travel and this offers an affordable solution. I think the high service fees are unjustified though. No complaints otherwise.

they added a new fee without warning. if you have a house and you would like to rent your house for travellers.
for example if you had reservation from wimdu and accepted. but this is life ! something went wrong about the house , water is not working or you have different problems! and you would like to cancel the reservation! even you contact with the guest and even they accept this change.. when you cancel the reservation as a host! they charge you %15 penalty !!!!
for example if your reservation TOTAL is 1000 usd .. they charge you 150 USD! penalty for cancelling the reservation!
They would like to be sure they had their COMISSION! even the guests accept and even the service is not given! they do not care about you.

Ich war in Paris und übernachtete 5 Tage bei einem Wimdu Teilnehmer. Günstiger wäre es nicht mit B&B oder in einem Hotel. Ausserdem war es eine gemütliche und schöne Wohnung.
Mit und über Wimdu zu verreisen ist als würde man alte Freunde besuchen. Mir gefällt vor allem der Aspekt mit Einheimischen unter einem Dach zu wohnen, denn dadurch fühlt man sich weniger als Tourist.
Traveling with Wimdu is like visiting a friend, instead of being trapped in a nondescript and sterile Hotel environment. It's the home away from home.
Besides, you get inside tips of what to see, and where to go off the beaten track.
Meanwhile I have already recommended Wimdu to several of my friends, and especially to students who visit me. My friends were looking for a cosy apartment somewhere in Amsterdam and returned super happy, just as myself after my trip to Paris.
Also I had some query regarding the use of Wimdu at the start, and wrote to customer service. I was emailed the same day and called on my mobile to assist me. Thumbs Up.
Travelling with Wimdu is much easier. Many great places to stay. Last staying in Madrid was just perfect. Very nice and helpful staff.
Transaction though wimdu.de is very simple, no additional questions when arrive, double rooms for a very convenient price, just great.
I will for sure use WIMDU in future. Acutally, I am waiting for two next stays.
