Really a nice experience in Neukölln. Apartment clean and comfortable. U Bahn and S Bahn very near; everything you need for a short stay. Volker was always in touch and very helpful. Thanks Volker. Just a small note is that the kitchen is not very equipped for 3 people who like to cook.

Used wimdu 3 times so far for long holidays, the website is easy to browse, what you see is what you get, safe payments in advance and no surprises afterwards.

This company takes months to answer its clients and they have hidden fees which the client does not see when paying for the booking.

We rented an apartment in Miami this summer, payed in full, received all confirmation emails from Wimdu med all info but when we arrived in Miami THERE WAS NO APARTMENT. Wimdu does not take any responsibilities and they have no idea who is renting out these places, they do not check the hosts or the places. 5 more people/families have been fooled this summer. SO DO NOT USE WIMDU!!!!

I have been a host with Wimdu since 2012. It used to be a user friendly and reliable site until 2 years ago. Now it has gone from good to poor to very poor. There is no real telephone support for either hosts or guests. Guests are charged too much admin fees. I keep getting hacked and no support from Wimdu only threats. I could not recommend this service in good faith.

I run a B&B in Sardinia and before today had never heard of Wimdu.
This morning, a lady rang to check her booking for tonight was ok. We are fully booked and did not have booking in her name. She went on to say she had booked via Wimdu. I explained that we were full and that I had never heard of Wimdu. After finishing serving breakfast I checked our website e.mail and found 3 messages from Wimdu.
The first was the ladies booking request.( via Wimdu)
The second was from Wimdu, showing that they were charging the client 70Euro's 21 cents (our usual rate is 70 euro) of which we would receive 59 Euro's. We dot not use any booking services and only ever deal direct with clients.
The message went on to say that if we did not accept the booking within 4 hours the booking would be cancelled. Furthermore, if we did not accept the booking, it would be treated as a negative comment which other users would see and it might discourage new customers.
This is tantamount to blackmail !
The third message was a repeat of the initial booking - why ? I have no idea.
This company Wimdu, have used pictures from our web site and tried to blackmail us into a booking we have no space for with the threat of a negative rating.
I suggest that nobody should have any dealings with a company as unethical as this. Avoid !!

I had only two experiences with wimdu, in 2012 and 2015, both positive.
I would recommend this operator.

we were scammed by a property on Wimdu - which W said they had completed their 3 point checks. we were led onto a false/mirror website with payment details. Despite 2 families being scammed of €2500, Wimdu took no responsibility and wouldn't help investigate why their 3 point security failed. They have since removed the scam property BUT we are left without any cover. Really shocking.

I booked my apartment with Wimdu with no problem in Oct, but unfortunately the owner cancelled my reservation.
Wimp provided, carefully and quickly, to replace the inconvenient and we made a second booking.
Unfortunately few days before the holiday the owner cancelled the reservation and it has been quite stressful , for wimdu and me to fond anything that can be similar or appropriate compared what i had reserved before, but i have to say the the whole staff has been great and we made it!!
The apartment was good, but not the best as it seems from the picture but we spent a great holiday

It's very semple to book whit Wimdu, the host information are what you will find, so I think this web site is very recommended.

Excellent experience

I had two experiences with Wimdu and what I appreciated the most was the effort of putting the human touch in the efficient yet often cold virtual way to do deals. I had no problem whatsoever with the rented apartments, henca a very positive experience.

The apartment is very beautiful, new, well furnished, with every confort and correspondent to the description. Communication with the owners, booking and formality of access absolutely perfect.

I booked an apartment for 11 nights in Ibiza and everything was as expected. Will use Wimdu again.

Only the best homes and if the stay is bad, the payment is returned
