By far the worst telecom company in…

By far the worst telecom company in Greece. Worst Internet connection, we have 50mbps and we catch up to 10. Connection always gets interrupted every 5 mins for 10-30 seconds. When we called them to tell them there's a problem, they told us yes of course you have a problem because you don't have the best Internet package. Please upgrade to the 100mbps amd you will not have such problems! We obviously not gonna get scammed like this, we are changing company. Please don't get Internet from Wind!!!

WARNING- take advantage of old people

Going through my deceased fathers papers I can see that he was completely swindled by
the company in getting services he did not need and could not use. They must have known this as he was suffering from mild cognitive impairment. Too much time has probably elapsed since this occurred and I do not have the strength to fight this. Do not use.

WIND, as all telecom companies in Greece - are crooks!

Wind Hellas (as all other mobile telecom companies in Greece) are crooks, using all tricks and traps to make you get bills much higher than your agreed monthly plan...

Everyone knows that telecom companies in Greece are a CARTEL... and have an outrageous pricing policy compared to most of other EU countries where prices are much much lower.

The company has one of the most unreliable customer services at European level. I reported a problem with the data connection at least four days ago and I am still waiting for a feedback.

Still waiting ...

Polite customer service on the phone but still...
After their mergence with nova they made it harder to find a phone number to communicate. All I wanted was to receive via email my contract. After the persistence of an employee to register on their app, I communicated several times through all possible channels-phone, email letter form, app. Several hours later, still wanting for their reply even though I informed them of the emergent reason of my need.
They are very helpful at the beginning to make you a new customer but after you agree and start paying, you're on your own to solve problems.

Regret of being a wind customer

Being customer of wind for so long I was expecting something better. Living on Lesvos Island got charged more than 50 euros for roaming while I wasn't away! When I asked the reason they replied that it was legal because they send me an sms in which they informed me that I was connected in a Turkish network!! After my family contracts will be expired we ll find another company to respect us more.

Wind in Kifissia to pay for HERON

Went to Wind in Kifissia to pay a HERON bill, they cooperate. The lady was all smiles.
She told me I had to pay in cash, no card allowed
"-it is the fault of Viva"
I go to an ATM and get cash.
Before paying IN CASH, the needed my name, mobile number, ID number !!
They also asked extra Euro 1,05 per bill. Then what is the point of "cooperating" with Heron ?

They promised discounts they did not…

They promised discounts they did not deliver, didn't track the paper work properly and had misleading guidance. The network coverage is disappointing. Moreover, awful customer service, the speaker had an "attitude", the line was breaking and it was impossible to communicate. I will never use them again.

Wind Greece - Amateurs - Very bad experience

We are in the center of Athens. 1.5 month ago Wind technicians came in the building and installed Fiber lines outside each apartment.

since then we don’t have internet (we have a 50 MBPS ADSL contract with Wind.)

An independent technician we paid came in our house, checked the line and it s fine. from wind they say that the problem is from our side but their modem is synchronising.

We have also applied for a 200 MPBS fiber and we still wait for more than a month to get connected to the fiber network.

we have 7 lines in Wind (mobiles etc) and we are moving them to Vodafone.

Worst internet provider

Worst internet provider. I wanted to terminate my connection and for 2 months I was waiting and charging for more than double price that I had in my contract, because my contract was expired..! Ridiculous..

On 05/05 I filled out an application to have fiber optic to my new apartment. Our new landlord was so kind to set our contract from 01/07 so we won't pay rent for a place that we can't live (as both working from home and good internet connection is a necessity for us) since we all know that such things take time in Greece. Today is 14/07and I have called million times to customer support, as you cannot have direct communication with the associated team, they inform me that they will leave a request to call me back but they don't. The only info that I get is that they don't have any info. However, I am paying for a house that I can't move in and in Greece, in 2022 it takes more than 2 months and a half to get internet. Worst experience ever!

Excellent service lowest prices

Been a customer since WIND was called STER and TELESTET. Never had an issue. Always the prices are lower than the two competitors (vodafone, Cosmote) and the best service. Two years now they changed their tel customer service snd when you call you are redirected immediately to a call agent, no more press this... press that... shout this..

About a decade ago their signal strength was ambiguous in many parts of Greece now this is not the car anymore.

Unhelpful in an emergency

After having my phone, wallet and all ID stolen, Wind couldn't have been more unhelpful. They made it just about IMPOSSIBLE to block the IMEI of my stolen phone even though I had the box and the receipt. Their internet access sucks too - dead slow - sometimes I just get missed calls because they are not routed fast enough to my phone to actually ring before the caller hangs up.

Constant problems

Constant problems, over charging in bills, internet and line are constantly down, paid an electrician to re wire my business but it has made no difference, the staff are rude on the phones and just constantly transfer you to the next person, 4 or 5 times and then they hang up! Amazing experience.

Absolutely appalling service

Absolutely appalling service, inconsistent or none existent Wi-Fi and phone connection which goes off several times a day. No signal in many areas for mobile service, even in the city. I have just changed to Cosmote and Wind thinks I am going to pay over 200 euros for breaking a contract which they have never honoured. Stay away from WIND HELLAS, it's an unethical company which is unable to provide the services it advertises.

Terrible company, awful customer service.

This company and their customer service is awful. My SIM card was damaged and I had to buy a new one from one of their stores at 5 euros. When I bought it, they told me that it will be activated automatically within 24 hours. After 24 hours, nothing. I went to the same store and they told me that I have to wait for 7 days and that I must be patient. Then I spoke with their customer service on messenger and over the phone and they told me that they will put it in priority and activate it the next day, the soonest possible. They told me that they will call me in the morning to verify my ID and proceed with the activation. I was waiting for 4 hours and nobody called me. Then I called them and they told me that the relevant department is closed and I must contact them the next day. The girl who picked up the phone was laughing and yelling at me. This company is a distaster. Pathetic with awful customer service. Before you sign a contract with them, think about it again because when you have a problem, they do want to assist.

Please don’t make the mistake I made

Before switching to Wind (which was against my own will as I am a minor) we had Cosmote, which is kind of expensive but does the job. It has been 3 years now that we have Wind and there hasn’t been a single day where I haven’t had bad internet connection. We pay for 50mbps and on my pc I have a download speed of 2 mbps (4 max) and an upload speed of 5 mbps. This is outrageous. I can’t even submit my homework on time due to the awful Internet connection. I have contacted them multiple times yet tell me there isn’t anything wrong with my internet connection and insist on just restarting the router or pc. Please don’t get Wind, don’t do this mistake.
