I worked with Ndiko to plan a memorable birthday trip for my first time in Africa and my first safari. Recommended to me through a friend of a friend, she truly exceeded all expectations.

From carefully crafting a flexible itinerary to creating a seamless, shareable website for friends interested in joining, her level of organization immediately put me at ease. Our journey took us through vibrant Nairobi, on an unforgettable safari in the Maasai Mara, and wrapped up with a few wonderfully relaxing days in Zanzibar.

Ndiko took the reins on defining, organizing, and executing on my solo 7-day vacation throughout Kenya. She also helped me find after-work and weekend activities during my 2-week work trip in Nairobi that fit my interests to a T. I found Winda Guide on IG. I was captivated by the stories told and the images shown about Kenya -- I needed to know more about the people behind it. After clicking through to Winda Guide's page and reading reviews, I realized Ndiko (the lady behind Winda Guide) was exactly who I was looking for for my Kenya trip which I had delayed planning out.

I booked time with Ndiko, and we jumped on a video call the next day. Ndiko listened to my desires for this trip and helped set expectations around how much I could do in 7 days. Within a couple days, Ndiko had two thoroughly planned itineraries that she offered me in her portal: I had a day-by-day breakdown of activities, a breakdown of what was included in each plan, what to bring, travel requirements, various activities I could do beyond the set itinerary, and pricing. Everything was very clear.

Ndiko’s selection of sights and accommodations are of excellent quality; she took into consideration my wants and iterated as needed, and you could tell that she’s spent notable time vetting and curating her recommendations.

As the trip approached, Ndiko clearly communicated when and where I needed to be and she coordinated drivers to get me to and from airport/train stations to my accommodations. I traveled between Nairobi, Maasai Mara, Diani Beach, and Mombasa; taking cars, planes, and the SGR train. There were so many moving pieces here, and they were seamlessly connected by Ndiko.

Ndiko was a huge help when planning for my first ever safari. She presented a few options within my price range and provided quick overviews of what the different camps entail which helped me make my decision - and I was beyond thrilled with the camp! Ndiko was such a huge help and wonderful guide in helping us plan and book two safari trips! Couldn’t recommend her more, she was very thoughtful and thorough in taking into account what our priorities were and also coming up with the perfect recommendations to meet them. Ndiko organised a wonderful four night safari for us at the end of a two week visit to Kenya. Pick up from Malindi (where we had attended a wedding) in a Land Cruiser (seven of us), then on to Tsavo (Salt Lick Lodge - two nights) and Amboseli (Serena - also two nights) before being dropped off at Nairobi Airport in time for our flight home. Everything worked immaculately, including the separate pick up of our superfluous suitcases in Malindi and their direct transfer to Nairobi airport. Most importantly, thanks to our incredible driver/guide, Eric, we saw an amazing variety of wild animals, including elephants, cheetahs and, of course, lions. He was so knowledgeable that we learned an enormous amount about how they live and interact. It made for a very special experience. I cannot recommend Winda highly enough!

We just came back from an unforgettable family trip to Kenya, and everything was perfectly organized for us by Winda Guide. We didn’t have to worry about a thing and could just enjoy our time together.

Ndiko is the perfect host in Kenya! From start to finish, she made sure everything ran smoothly. The boutique hotels were beautiful, the game drives were incredible, and seeing thousands of animals all around our safari car in the Masai Mara was truly unforgettable.

Winda Guide planned the perfect vacation for our family. We were 6 adults and two small children, all with different ideas of what we wanted to see and do, and Ndiko helped us plan an itinerary that worked for all of us. All the accommodations, guides and services she coordinated for us were excellent. It was truly a luxurious vacation that also gave us an authentic feel of the places we visited. The staff in the hotel and villas we stayed at went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and facilitate our stay. Many even helped us care for our one year old baby. Ndiko was always available to answer any of our questions while planning and on site. She also helped us book flights when the airline website was causing us issues. She helped us find all the baby/toddler gear we need (car seats, high chairs, crib) in various locations to make it as easy as possible to travel with young kids. She is very organized and gave us everything we needed for our trip in advance as well as reminders of certain documents and tips for activities as we arrived in new locations. We would not have been able to find this level of quality services throughout our trip without her, and she just made everything so easy that we didn't need to think about much except enjoying our time. We had the best time together and are forever grateful to Ndiko. We would highly recommend her services to anyone traveling to Kenya!

I went down a bit of a rabbit hole. I checked out her TikTok, her Instagram, and I could tell she knew her stuff. She’s based in Kenya, she’s independent, and you can feel the passion behind what she does. Once we jumped on a call, I felt completely at ease. This trip was for my birthday, so I wanted someone who really cared about the details, and that’s exactly the energy I got from Winda Guide. She really exceeded all expectations and went over and beyond to ensure I was well looked after at the safari lodges.

On a scale of 1 to 5, I would rate Winda Guide a 6. Our agent, Ndiko was extremely knowledgeable about all the areas we visited: Nairobi, Mara, and Diani. Perfectly curated trip from the hotels to the guides to the activities and experiences. She also had great recommendations for seamstress, hair braiders and salons. Our group was almost 30 people and not a single issue even with the unpredictability of travel.

Ndiko was great! Highly recommend her when looking to book a holiday in Kenya. There are so many options that it can become overwhelming but having a trusted, local guide makes it so much easier. We had an amazing safari at an incredible eco camp as recommended by Ndiko. She also goes above and beyond (even helping me source some medication I needed).

Ndiko was far beyond just a great travel agent. She helped to curate an experience that went beyond our wildest dreams. When booking a trip for your honeymoon in Africa there is so much to choose from and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the options. I really wanted a travel agent who could just understand what we were going for and be definitive and choose for us what were the best options and Ndiko did just that.

Ndiko was able to take all of the things we liked/disliked/cared about and put it all together into the greatest trip we’ve ever been on. (We wanted a boutique luxury experience and wanted to explore/ safari in both Kenya and Tanzania, and finish off with the beach in Seychelles).

Each place we stayed at was the perfect place for what we wanted to do and the service and commitment of the hosts was unbelievable. It really showed Ndiko’s knowledge of the places to stay that will turn your trip from a great trip into a life changing experience. She was there for us every step of the way and was always there to answer our questions. While on the trip she made sure that we were well taken care of and jumped into action if we ever needed anything. Whether we were in a New York or in Africa, she was always just a phone call away!

Winda planned a 4-day trip for a group of 8 people. We did 3 days of Safari in Maasai Mara then 1 day in Naivasha.

It was AMAZING, MAGICAL! We now understand why people say magical Kenya.

We enjoyed everything including the hotel selection, safari experience, food and activities.

During the game drives, our guides, Robert and Eric, went above and beyond to have us see all the animals.
We got the big 5, the cheetah hunting, a lion family of 12, lion cubs eating a buffalo, and all the others amazing things nature has to offer.

They did not hesitate to point out animals to see, giving us all the information about the area and animals and making sure we had as much time as we wanted to take beautiful pictures.

They made our safari unforgettable and we can't wait to do the next ones (Amboseli, Tsavo, etc).

Ndiko planned the whole trip, booked all the activities, and sent us booking conformations ahead of time. She made suggestions and coordinated with all parties throughout the trip to make sure we had the best experience possible.

The communication with Winda Guide was fluid and clear before, during, and after the trip.
We really got more than value for our money.

We have so many special memories and we go back feeling happy and in love with Kenya.
