Do not buy - extremely low quality battery packs

Do not buy - extremely low quality battery packs
Windgoo uses (or used) battery packs from unknown manufacturer called Shenzhen Longting Technology Co. Ltd. After a few years of very light use, the battery pack failed in our Windgoo M12. I doubt we even put it through 20 cycles. We never let the voltage drop too low. What would happen is the scooter would work for around 5 minutes and then just cut out completely. Since the scooter is essentially ewaste now as either buying a battery pack or replacing every individual cell manuall would cost more than a used M12, I took the battery pack apart to see if I could re-use the cells for something else. First off, the cells are not even matched - some cells have dark writing on them and some have light writing, which suggests the cells have at the very least come with different batches. Secondly, I have only tested 8 cells so far (out of 30). 4 of the cells have tested bad. We had 1 cell test at ~1900mah which is good, as these are advertised as 2000mah cells. 2 more tested around 1700-1800mah, which is bad enough as they are not wearing at the same rate. Another cell tested at 1200mah - horrible. 2 cells tested at 500mah!!! So we have some cells testing at 1900mah and others testing at 500mah. No wonder it was cutting out. The cells are low quality, not matched, meaning the battery packs made by Longting are cutting corners and will fail after not much use. I highly advise you do NOT buy a Windgoo and go for something more reputable.

terrible customer service

I bought the E20 which arrived 6th December 2023. worked great at first, I was very happy with it. Unfortunately, after a couple of weeks, there was a fault with the controller which stopped sending power to the motor.
I contacted Windgoo customer services, requesting instructions for return. they told me to take it to a local bike shop for repair and they will reimburse me for reasonable costs.I took it to a bike shop where it was diagnosed with a defective controllerwhich needed replacement, as it could not be repaired. The shop said they can provide a compatible replacement controller, but it would have to come with a display, for £150.
I relayed this information to Windgoo and they replied that this was too costly, and said that they will get their UK warehouse to take a controller from another bike and send it to me.
I have now waited over three weeks, and sent a couple of emails to request a timeframe for delivery. as yet I have had no response. It doesn't look like they are going to send a new controller, nor are they answering my question for returning the bike for a refund.
I would tell anyone not to buy a Windgoo product. They are great while they are working , but if anything goes wrong, the customer service is useless. I joined the UK Windgoo owners page on Facebook, and found many stories like mine.
I have now sent details to Trading Standards, and am awaiting their reply.

Windgoo are a terrible company

Windgoo are a terrible company, they are only interested in selling bikes. Their aftersales service is nonexistent, ignorant and disgusting. Please, please, please do not buy off them, they do not deserve your custom.

Useless Windgoo T10 Scooter!

I purchased a Windgoo T10 electric scooter in December 2022, from Amazon. It arrived on time and was easy to put together. It was advertised as being able to carry up to 120kg, I weigh about 85kg, so assumed it would be ok for me. On first use, it struggled to get up the slightest of little hills. It's clearly a teen only scooter, but was not advertised as such.
So, I left a 1 star review on Amazon and was almost immediately bombarded with messages from Windgoo asking me to change my review. I refused to do so. I just put it in the shed, with a view to selling it on to someone younger and well under 85kg.
After not using it for a few months, it now won't charge, won't go at all and it's completely shut down. The handlebar display unit won't respond at all, despite the battery being fully charged. It has been used once!
The product and company are completely useless and I wish I'd never bought it or dealt with them. Windgoo do not respond to emails and I have given up all hope of ever getting my money back. Lesson learned I suppose.
Don't give Windgoo any of your money, please go elsewhere.

Superb bike, professional service.

I originally bought Windgoo B30 from a scam website, Evo Electric, got my money refunded. Then I ordered direct from Windgoo, excellent service. Got email with order confirmation, got dispatch confirmation, bike delivered to Northern Ireland within 1 week. Absolutely love this bike, use it more than planned. When using the brake, make sure you are putting no pressure on accelerator handle, otherwise you will do a wheelie. So much fun, very happy to recommend 👍.

Terrible experience

This company do not respond to communication and ignore complaints. My scooter did not arrive in the time frame I was promised and I was left high and dry as someone who needed the scooter as a mobility aid it was awful. I was lied to, patronised and promised things that did not happen. All I want now is £400 refunded. But no one will respond to me. Avoid this company at all costs.

Bought mine from E-Dash

Bought an M12 e-scooter. However I steered away from windgoo.uk... Just thought their website looked a bit off and untrustworthy. I Got it at edashmobility.com instead and they gave me very good service and communication. And they have in house repairs and warranty. So very happy with the scooter.

In the end

In the end, I was able to come to an agreement with Windgoo. Thanks to their great commitment, I got a new scooter and everything turned out well. The only downside was the long waiting period, about 2months. But it worked. Regards

My experience with B20 and Customer Service

I bought a B20 E-Bike about a month ago. It took a while to arrive, about 2 weeks. Something went wrong with DPD and Windgoo Service, but it arrived and I must say, the Bike is suuuper useful. We live 6km from the town centre where we need to go all the time. Would be 1h walking since we have no car. But with the bike we can make up to 12min. The battery life is not that great, but last enough for us to go and come back from the town.

Then, we decided to buy another, since we're a couple and only one wasn't enough. I asked for a discount and they approved. It's supposed to arrive today.

The customer service ain't great, they take up to 2-3 days to answer a simple question. I hope they improve it so I can rate it 5 stars next time.
