Ive been coming to windmill motors for a very long time and they have never let me down just purchased my fifth car from them. it can be difficult at times trying to find a decent garage you can trust but windmill ive never had a problem always helpfull and on hand to help with anything. had the pleasure of dealing with ibby this time round thanks again ibby for all your help.

Felt well looked after by Ibby and the excellent sales and maintainance staff at Windmill Motors when buying my VW Touareg to replace an older one. Immediate attention to a couple of defects and treated as customers should be.

Having just moved to the area we used this garage based on it's good reviews and unfortunately our experience wasn't great! I purchased a car from here December 2024 and by the March a few warning lights started to appear. Spoke with Kevin who said unfortunately the car was now out of warranty so they couldn't help. Booked the car into a local garage who couldn't fit it in til May who then deemed the car undriveable as the wet timing belt was due to snap! A few conversations and emails with Kevin who confirmed the timing belt needed changing at 64k miles when I mentioned my car had a wet timing belt which was due to be changed at the (6 year) service they did on the car in September prior to them selling me the car in December all communication from them stopped! I've been to citizens advice I've sent letters that have just been ignored. I've made an official complaint which on their website says they will respond in 5 working days! Ignored!
And I know they will say the car didn't have a service book (which again was never mentioned at sale) but ultimately paying £8,500 for a car to break down within 6 months and then having to pay an additional £1,265 and to have zero aftercare from this company is just very poor service.
I'm actually quite intrigued if they'll respond to this review !

On the way to trade my car in, I had a rear tyre blowout 7 miles away from the dealership. I called the garage and explained my issue and they came out to me with a mechanic who fitted the space-saver. I was only charged for the tyre at trade discount, I was not charged for the callout. Car I was looking at was as advertised so I bought it. They even escorted me to the local post office as I could not tax it online due to previous owner being disabled. At no time during this buying process was I hassled with phone calls or emails, no pressure sales here. I would definitely use this garage again. The owner and his staff are a pleasure to deal with, I can highly recommend.

The whole experience was hassle free and no pressure sales guys. Helpful and informative. Prices are reasonable and comes well prepared and a good hand over.

I had seen positive reviews for Windmill Motors, so when a Clio appeared on their advert, I was happy to drive 2.5 hrs to view and buy. The whole experience was pleasant and pain free!

Bought a Mx5 recently from these guys, the car had a mileage clerical error that I pointed out, genuine mistake from the MOT test centre, I left it with the guys from Windmill to sort….and sort they have!
Car so far is spot on and as advertised, they picked me up from the bus station we agreed to meet at and everything went smoothly.

Not just a trusted company to buy vehicles from. I make regular use of the guys at Windmill for maintenance and MOT of older vehicles. Any faults found are recified quickly, efficiently and at a decent price.

Friendly and helpful team from start to finish. Absolutely zero pressure or messing around. Let us look round the car and take it for a drive on our own. Also picked up a few things we wanted doing quite happily to make the car perfect. Car was then all ready exactly as expected on the date/time agreed and we were on our way in 15 mins! Highly recommended, very easy to deal with, a long way from car dealers of old!

Windmill garage were honest and reliable during the buying process for my car, they were open to any requests for extra items when servicing the car before I collected it. I noticed some knocking when I got onto my local very rough road and they fitted a new tie bar with no quibble. The car has run seamlessly since I purchased it They have recently carried out a further service and MOT with no problems.

A very good experience. I went to look at a specific vehicle. It was exactly as described. Was able to test drive and collected the vehicle a few days later which had been fully serviced and MOT'd and was cleaner inside and out than cars that I have previously bought from dealerships.

Bought a car through finance from this garage. They sold us a car with major faults and then became difficult about us wanting repair. They really don't like to be questioned or challenged. Please do not buy from these people
