It's just as easy to praise rather than critise.
I ordered a whiskey gift set. After a week it had not arrived. I emailed Winepig and received a reply from Marlene. In short she resent my order and my friend has received it and is over the moon. I could not ask for better service. I have read previous reviews and this was before Marlene has taken over. More often we are too hasty to complain rather than praise.

Scamming company
Ordered 6 bottles of Sauvignon Blanc only received 4. No one picking up the telephone or replying to emails. Do not order from this company. Having read other reviews I guess we are luckier than others.

Ignored my online order, then refused to refund me!
Bought throughout ShopInIreland website. They ignored my order for over a week, I contacted ShopInIreland to cancel it and suddenly my order was "on the way". Various emails sent by ShopInIreland to WinePig stating that I wanted a refund as order didn't arrive in time for what I needed it for were ignored completely. No customer service whatsoever. I'd avoid completely.

Ordered a bottle of Whiskey. Sent the wrong one so I sent it back and reordered. Sent the wrong one again. Now won’t answer phone or messages. Be warned. Stay clear of these shysters.

No delivery after three weeks
I placed an order for over £150 three weeks ago and after having updates to start with it's now gone quiet - not answering phone and not replying to emails either. There is no sign of a delivery - take care with these guys!!
