This is the worst business I have ever…

This is the worst business I have ever dealt with, even after hundreds of requests to be removed from their call list over 15 years I get calls continually , at times 3-4 times in a day.
Multiple emails requesting they stop to no avail.
Disgusting business practices, harassment to extreme. I would have blocked hundreds of numbers from these cockroaches but they continue on and on!
Have reported to the ombudsman hopefully enough do the same and they get closed down!

Under no circumstances do any business…

Under no circumstances do any business with this organisation. They cannot be trusted and you will not be able to speak to a human being at any time. My elderly father was cold called and conned into purchasing over $1000 in wine. I became aware of this transaction within 30 minutes and attempted to make contact with Wines.com.au to cancel the order. What a farcical situation that was. They provide a phone number but no one ever answers it. On four separate occasions on online chat was assured that someone would be in contact me and that the issue had been escalated. No attempt was made to contact me and at the end of the last chat over 16 hours after I first attempted to make contact I was told that the order had now been shipped and we would have to pay $25 a case to return it. In spite of us stating that we wanted no further contact to be made with my father, he now tells me that he has received an email saying that would like to chat about the issue. This is in spite of the fact that we told them 4 times that he is an eighty two year old man with a head injury who can’t make sound financial decisions. I hope you are getting some idea of what sort of business we are dealing with here. Good luck if you choose to purchase from these people. We can only hope that somewhere down the track natural justice is served and they go out of business

With regard to the response below- no you will not find my username because if you took the time to read the review you would u der stand that it was my elderly father that your company fleeced. Is there really any point in sending an email. You failed to respond to my 5 previous attempts to contact you, so why should now be any different. Put some human beings on the phone instead of hiding behind your offshore web chat centre.

Buyer beware!!

Essentially the have made large unauthorised transactions from my elderly father on 5 occasions. No wine has ever been delivered. They have made at least 5 of these unauthorised transactions. Several attempts to contact by phone or email have gone unanswered. Clearly a bunch of scammers. Have contacted consumer protection and are in the process of taking action to recover nearly $2000 of lost money. Do not use them under any circumstances and warn all others

Beware

On Jan 21, 2025 I had a phone call from the Wine Concierge trying to sell me wine. He was persistent and refusing to take "No" for an answer. So I just hung up on him. 8 days later I received 2 boxes of wine I had not ordered. The label on the box said wines .com.au Checked my credit card which had been debited for nearly $1000 by "Wholesale Vintners Pty Ltd." I complained by email to wines .com.au but got no response. On Jan 30 I got 2 emails from Aust Post saying my delivery from Wholesale Vintners was on the way. Finally got through to them on the phone and the consultant said I had ordered 8 dozen bottles on Jan 21. I explained that I had NOT ordered any wine any requested they take them back and refund my money. Got a phone call from someone else on Feb 3 saying that she was ringing about my request to delay delivery on my order. Again I said i had not ordered any wine. She said she would arrange for the wines to be picked up and returned. The next day I got another call from them trying to sell me more wine! She said she would pass my complaint on to Customer Service. Later that day 4 doz more wine arrived and I rang back. Sat on the phone for over 5 minutes and then the call was terminated their end. Rang again and was told she had arranged for 8 cartons to be picked up and returned. On Feb 6 2 doz more came (making 8 doz in all). They were finally collected on Feb 10 and my money refunded. Since then they have continued to ring me trying to sell me wine despite me telling them to stop ringing because I want nothing to do with them.

Not a reputable wine company

This company pretended it was "Wine Selectors", which it is NOT. Wine Selectors is reputable.
Wine Vintners, Wine Concierge, Wholesale Vintners, et al, are all the same company. The wine is bulk purchased, bottled under some fictional label and is really awful, unpalatable and not even good cooking wine. The giveaway is "Wine of Australia", without a vineyard on it. Nominally from a business suite in St.Kilda Road, Melbourne. Be warned, stay away!!

Predatory selling

This company continues to sell wine to my mother and hitting her credit card for money. She is 87 and doesn't even drink wine! There are 9 boxes of wine that I need to return. Next stop is the ACCC.
I ha e called them and asked them to stop and I have cancelled my mum's card and still there is another $218 charge on her card. The third one this month!
I have emailed all the labels from the boxes. We called them in September last year and asked them to not to call or send any more wine and here we are with another 9 boxes and charges on the card. I have asked them to contact me directly and still have had no response

Great, if you like ongoing harassment

This company has been harassing me since November 2023.
Initially stuffing up my order, they only sent something after it was forced through a PayPal dispute. This was over a month after I ordered. There is no fast delivery.
Ever since, I’ve received persistent sales calls. I’ve asked kindly, firmly, angrily, yelled and threatened to report them for harassment. I’ve told them I will never ever buy from them. Yet they continue to call almost daily, even though I’ve been told I’ve been removed from the list or “suppressed in their system” multiple times. They use masked numbers, so you can’t just block them.
You’ll notice they operate under multiple names. Just look at the different wine sites to see its identical content in different colour schemes and fonts.
Do yourself a favour and don’t buy from your company, otherwise you’ll have them for life.
If the company is reading this….take me off your list!
Update December 2024… this company is now trying to get my review taken down in any way they can. This is an honest review and on the correct business.
A few months ago I finally got the calls to stop after reporting them to multiple government bodies for harassment and scams. It’s illegal for a business to relentlessly harass in a way that they did. I let them know that I had and they finally got the picture.

Don't be fooled by these guys

Don't be fooled by these guys, scammers. Very sophisticated looking website. Ordered wine never arrived. They are a registered Australian Company. They even have a Victorian Liquor license number 36311221. However on ordering there are no tracking numbers issued, the listed phone number is manned by a bot, the email contact inquiry page is a sham. However because they are a listed company the more fraud inquiries that ASIC receives about them hopefully they'll get taken down

BEWARE!!

BEWARE!!! Do not buy from this website.
I bought a box of wine 13/8/23 thinking it will come on time 17/8/23 for a birthday party weekend , and guess what? Until now, they have not sent my wine, there’s no clear response to where is my order, no phone number, only chat or email, I tried tracking the wine but the tracking number they gave was untraceable. So frustrating!
I am now in a process of getting a full refund, let’s see how that goes.
I am tempted to even report them to consumer affair because they are misleading costumers online. Probably a scam.
Who ever the owners of this business needs to wake up.
Such a disappointment.

This company is a scam! Don't order from them. 2.5months later and I haven't even received my order yet and they won't refund my money. No phone number available to contact them on and their sales team keeps calling to get you to order more. Very poor communication via email and they do not even respond in a within a satisfactory time frame. Have reported them to the Department of Fair Trading

I would add Zero stars if I could!

Update 18 months after first review. I still get spam calls which are annoying and the agents are incredibly persistent despite me asking them to remove me from the call list.

I would add Zero stars if I could!
Two weeks after ordering a case of wine it still hasn’t been delivered despite the site saying it should take 2-4 business days. Following up with the company (online only, no phone no) they keep sending an auto email with a tracking number which is not recognised by Aus Post. I have told that to the company and they insist they are still following it up - 4 days later. I fear I have been scammed 🙁
