I bought the Fit and Flexible For Life…

I bought the Fit and Flexible For Life programme and it has been great for me. It has increased my strength and flexibility and now I'm looking at other things to improve my fitness. The presenter is clearly very flexible and can do all the exercises easily, but she does try to explain how to do things to someone who is not.

Consistency pays off - worth the effort to learn and memorise!

I am over 50 diagnosed with metastatic cancer in my spine. I wanted to get stronger. I have found the videos a great help and consistency certainly pays off. I liked the instructor's approach and felt that it was a good pace. I find myself thinking about how I move my body on other occasions doing things like shopping etc which has supported better movement patterns for sure. I have never been injured or felt worse as a result. Watching all of the 'how-to' and modification videos before doing any of the workout programmes was very important to help with this. When you keep using the programme, it would not be helpful if the flows were too slow initially and I would suggest a pause and rewind option for anyone who needs to break down the moves more slowly to learn them. They are worth it!

What's good is the one time payment of…

What's good is the one time payment of $27US. The instruction gives clear instructions, but really rushes through it. What's bad is the video platform they use (Vimeo) - it freezes CONSTANTLY if you try to cast it to your tv or monitor. Save your $, there are millions of free videos out there that are just as good, if not better.

I purchased the Win with Yoga programs

I purchased the Win with Yoga programs, set up my account and was able to log in properly the first time. But my lazy butt didn’t use try to actually use the program until months later and now I can’t log in anymore. Says my username or password is incorrect so when I try and do a “forget my password” it gives me an error that something went wrong with resetting my password. I have sent emails to try and fix the error but no one ever answers so I guess I am out my money.

Hard to navigate and impossible to follow.

I really want to like this program, but I just cannot follow the program. The instructor is lightning fast and I’m trying to follow on my phone. I can’t see what pose I’m supposed to be in when she holds her pose for two seconds before changing and we are supposed to suddenly be head down and arms up, then child’s pose, then standing. I bought an extra class and it never showed up on my class list.
I’ve done yoga before, but this lady is a speed demon and rushes through it all. This last time I timed myself. After three minutes I give up.

Not for beginners with actual back issues

Win With Yoga touts that it is designed and geared towards helping people (especially women) over 50 with joint, back and knee pain regain the strength, balance and flexibility with daily 10 minute workouts. While the 10 minute time allocation is great, I am 60 with a bad back, knees and neck and I found this program far too difficult to do as a beginner and actually suffered more back, knee, wrist, shoulder and neck pain after doing this program for a few weeks. Sadly, you have 14 days to qualify for a refund and I was trying to give it more time to see if it would work so I'm out the cash I paid for the two courses I bought. I did email Janine about the issues I was experiencing and she offered to swap out the two courses for one that uses a chair and does not require getting on the floor, which I appreciated. If you are not able to easily get on and off the floor this program is probably not for you. There are countless chair yoga and other senior workout videos on YouTube for free and that's probably a better option for those with actual mobility issues and genuinely bad backs and joints.

Stronger from day 1

I felt stronger and more flexible from the very first lesson. Each one that has followed has made me feel even stronger. This has delivered what it's promised. I've gradually felt myself becoming weaker and weaker every day but this has reversed those effects. 10 out of 10. So thankful to have this!

Fit and Flexible for Life & Good Body For Life

I bought the Fit and Flexible for Life program for $39 CAD. It delivered what it promised. I was very impressed. There's 16 ten minute very basic targeted yoga classes plus intro and other thoughtful videos. I was quite pleased. She really knows her stuff.

Then I bought the "Good Body for Life" program for $54 CAD. Useless - Unless you're older or limited, know nothing about health, wellness, and fitness, and can't do the Fit and Flexible stuff. Useless to me and not at all the value of the first set. Her "healing recipes" are just a bunch of links. Not one recipe of her own. I completely agree with her choice of websites and approach, but it didn't add a single bit of value for me. Glad she's getting the word out about a healthy diet, though.

It definitely isn't the quality of the first set and was significantly more $. Don't buy that one! There's also a WHOLE lot of advertising coming to your inbox too.

I do like her teaching and I do like the careful way she explains things and gives modifications. I just feel like I was ripped off with the 2nd purchase. Even still, I'm considering buying the "Fit and Motivated" set of 16 thirty minute classes. One needs to do several of the
Fit and Flexible ones to get the whole body involved...but I guess that's the genius of quick 10 minute targeted ones. But now I'm afraid to throw away any more money.
