I paid some money into my account on…

I paid some money into my account on 21/09/2025 and till date 3/ 10/2025 it is still not reflecting. I have contacted them several times with receipt that showed I paid the money but tell date they have not resolve this matter even after presenting evidence that I paid the money into my account

STAY AWAY!!!!! Your money is not safe with them they refuse to approve my withdrawal request and blocked my account without any reason and the customer support failed to respond or do something save yourself from stress ……….Don’t be shy to seek help
I refused to let them go away with my money filed a complaint and got everything back within 48hours

Wirex services are Bad

- Wirex's services are costly, charging $10 for a $300 withdrawal. I recommend avoiding them to protect your funds.
- Their "Earn" product feels like a scam. They pay interest in WXT, which must be exchanged at a poor rate and cannot be withdrawn unless you reach around $300, with high fees attached.
- They claim to be a "reputable financial institution" but demand excessive personal information after account opening, not upfront as expected. This feels like a tactic to lock your account and funds. They even freeze my remaining $16. Fighting for $16 isn’t worth my time, but I’m warning you about this platform—it’s not what it claims to be.
- Their customer service is a joke, they takes 3 weeks to anwser you but threatens you if you don't answer them within a week.
Avoid at all cost. I’ve tested it so you don’t have to.
Please avoid as there is a reason why half of the review are so bad.
Will amend my review if things change

A Frustrating Experience with Account…

A Frustrating Experience with Account Access and Compliance Issues.

I have had a horrible experience with Wirex so far. I created my account on September 7th and funded it the next day, on September 8th. However, when I tried to make a transaction on September 9th, it was declined. I was informed that I had to wait 5 days before transferring any funds.
After waiting the 5 days, my transactions were still declined, this time due to regulatory compliance issues. On September 15th, I received an email asking me to submit my bank statements for the last 3 months, proof of ownership of the wallets I was transferring funds to, and my transaction history. I complied with all these requests promptly.
Despite submitting everything, my account has been blocked since September 9th, and I have been unable to withdraw funds or perform any actions on my account. On September 22nd, I received an email thanking me for submitting the documents and informing me that my support ticket (#6238105#) was sent to the relevant department.
I waited another week hoping for resolution. However, on September 29th, I received a final warning email demanding the same documents I had already submitted, threatening to close or lock my account if I did not comply.
Overall, this experience has been extremely frustrating. Despite following all instructions and submitting requested documents, I remain unable to access or use my account. The lack of clear communication and unresolved compliance issues have made Wirex unusable for me at this time. I hope Wirex improves its customer support and compliance process to prevent such problems for other users. I will make a formal complaint.

A fraud.

Transferring BTC to your wallet can not be done safely, the money will be locked and there is no response from the company on how to unlock it. Do NOT trust this company with your money.

Update: Wirex responds to this review with more lies. There has been no respons to my emails regarding my transaction.

Update: Wirex is still not responding and all trace of the transfer are lost within the app. About 10000$ has been stolen from me by this fraudulent company!!!

Why didn't you give me my €15,000 back? You just closed the account without even warning me?

This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen in my life.
It's been almost two months since my Coca card (where Wirex is the card provider) was frozen and stopped working. I've been waiting since August 4th with no response from the team to unblock the card so I can use it. This is unacceptable and a real shame.

How can it be acceptable to wait two months for a response from support?!!

Joined for the cashback card but...

I only joined Wirex because the cashback card looked good (not that many of them available here in Europe).

But you only get the cashback in WXT tokens, and to exchange them you need $300 worth.

So at 0.5% cashback, you quite literally need to spend $60,000 from your card before you get ANY usable cashback at all.

ACCOUNT IN REVIEW 3 weeks

So Wirex decided to put my account in review, 3 weeks ago! All information provided to them, however after repeatedly sending messages to their so called customer service team, zero response. They have my money and will not allow me to withdraw or close the account!
Anyone thinking of using this facility DON’T!!!!
Whilst the concept is good, the service behind it is absolutely rubbish.
Use another platform because I can guarantee you will have the same inconveniences.

Awful

Awful, I have closed my account due to not using it much. I had a refund from a company for £775 ive made 4 suppor requests and "they cannot locate my details. This ticket will be closed. Please raise a new request"

Its shocking customer service and clearly automated with no human oversight. I hope the 775 makes a world of difference to your business.

Please avoid.

So I thought in 2024 to download wirex…

So I thought in 2024 to download wirex as a seperate bank account to use for daily banking however when making transfers I realised some of my transactions made to wirex where not processed meaning the money was not added to my bank.

I also noticed transfers made out from wirex to my other bank accounts also were not beinf processed however the balance had been taken from the amount in my wirex!

The crazy thing is I would never have known this if I didnt review my accounts to check all my payments in and out were processed and I just found out in 2025 after reviewing I have been scammed by wirex as the balances in and out were not received on both ends.

Where is my money?

I would not trust wirex for anyone thinking of joining because if i hadnt checked i would lose my money by them stealing from me!

Zero care or customer support

Literally never write reviews but I have to warn others about this app. No customer support, I've been waiting for 2+ months for my case to get resolved. No ability to use my own money or speak to anyone. Just bloatware shilling its own crypto coins. AVOID and I will be submitting a formal complaint.

Its not possible to withdraw money…

Its not possible to withdraw money until certain parts of the app have been verifed and the app doesnt give you instrustion on how to veritfy your account

10,000 EUR held and no replies to emails etc... Avoid at all costs.

Account blocked for apparently (I didn't...) breaking T&Cs but they won't tell me which one I broke.

10,000 EURO stuck and they won't even reply to me. Details sent for transfer but they are blatantly ignoring all contact from myself.

They've had my money for weeks with no sign of getting it back.

Avoid completely.

Wirex - please do not waste your time replying with the usual "To our regret, the refund process following the closure of an account is complex and time-consuming. It requires manual checks and coordination across various departments. While we cannot offer specific timeframes, please rest assured that your case won’t get overlooked." nonsense. All it does is prove you don't even read complaints and have the same auto bot response.
