942 EUR loss due to Wirex

I opened an account, some payments had been made into the account. Wirex closed my account without telling me why and refunded those payments to the original accounts, NOT to another account in my name. I had no way of contacting the senders of the funds to ask them to send again therefore thanks to Wirex's actions I lost 942 EUR.

Extremely disappointing experience

Extremely disappointing experience. One of the worst financial services I have ever dealt with. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and unresponsive customer support are completely unacceptable. If you don’t want to risk your funds being restricted without clear explanation, I strongly recommend staying away from this company and thinking very carefully before trusting them with your money.
After a month of raising concerns and sending
multiple emails, instead of receiving an apology or any proper resolution, my account was permanently blocked. They never provided any clear explanation, and as soon as they realized I knew my rights, they acted to restrict my account—without any justification. Honestly, even if they hadn’t closed it, I would never have used this terrible service again.

We have made a transaction 3 weeks ago

We have made a transaction 3 weeks ago, wirex required documents for the operation, we provided all, after 2 weeks transfer was declined, so right now we still waiting answer for our case.. But haven’t get any success.. Support system is not working normally, we can’t make a refund of the crypto, can’t make bank transfers.. anything we cant do

Do not trust this company with either your digital currencies or your data. Their ticketed support system goes unresponded to and their chat system simply does not work.

I have put in excess I still haven’t had my funds sent back to me of £10,000 into my…

I have put in excess of £10,000 into my Wirex account and because I tried to move the purchased BTC into my own non custodial wallet and it was stopped for a temporary review which has so far taken 7 days.
It was the only transaction I made so it’s hardly difficult to review. I get nothing out of customer support except our team are working on the review. That is a blatant lie as it doesn’t take 7 days to review a simple transaction and my money is now stuck due to the incompetence or ignorance of the so called regular review.

Very Poor Service

I have been using WIREX for months. They onboarded me quickly and I have had good experience with them. They regularly ask information about my transactions for compliance I always provided them the invoices and information and they approved that. Then 1 random day they simply close my account with no reason even when they approved my business model and transactions each time. If they didn't like my business model they would have declined me during onboarding and even when they reviewed my transactions each time it satisfied them.

account is blocked third week, they send update telling "You account is fully functional.", but actually is still blocked.

Wirex is Great

Guys, I don’t know why the negative reviews .
The support compared to another’s crypto wallets I by far the best costumers services ever. Services super secure . Low fees like no one can even compare to them . I’m really enjoying using Wirex UK i gonna bring all my crypto to Wirex UK to be my main wallet.

The only reason I don’t give 5 starts is only 2 , no information on the delay delivery of the phisical card and the app should be more user friendly .
But the most important they have . Im very happy to be with Wirex

FUNDS BLOCKED! SCAMMERS?

My funds are blocked since last Monday, one week has gone by, and I cannot use my money. Everything is blocked and they do not even give an answer. DO NOT PUT YOUR MONEY IN THIS BANK! They are SCAMMERS!

Shit service and locked funds

Absolutely ridiculous experience.

I accidentally converted about $50 into WXT. Fine, that’s my mistake. What is not acceptable is that Wirex then effectively locks your money unless you hold around $300 worth of WXT. If your balance is below that threshold, you cannot exchange it back, you cannot withdraw it, and you cannot move it anywhere. It just sits there, unusable.

Support’s only answer was that I need to deposit more funds to reach the minimum limit. So the solution to accessing my own money is to give them even more money? That’s not customer service. That’s terrible system design.

There is no flexibility, no manual exception, no attempt to help. Just a rigid policy and a copy-paste response.

A serious financial platform should not create situations where smaller balances become effectively trapped. Extremely frustrating and very disappointing.

Be very careful before converting into WXT. If you are under their internal limit, your funds are basically stuck.
