Thieves I tried them in LA from online AVOID

Thieves I googled for a cheap car they not didn’t provided me with one but they them stole my money £265 for a car I didn’t get they said I have paid for all of the rental and when I got there they calmly looked at me and asked for a further £600. When I didn’t have it ( who would) they then claimed I didn’t show up and kept my money, which my bank then returned and then they managed to convince the bank because they have done this to many I guarantee it DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE THIEVES.

Re your reply I have it all documented and if I was allowed to I would print my photographic proof

Thank you for your message. We have thoroughly checked our system and there is no booking, payment, or customer record matching your details. You have never rented a car from Wise Cars.

Your description also does not match our procedures in any way. At Wise Cars we never charge security deposits or additional guarantees — the deposit is always 0, and full insurance is included in the rental price. This is clearly stated before, during, and after the booking process.

We have never requested an extra £600 from any customer, and we never mark a customer as a “no show” if they are physically present.

It is likely that there has been a confusion with a different company. If you believe this might be the case, please contact us so we can help clarify.

At the same time, we reserve the right to report and request the removal of reviews containing false claims that may unfairly damage the reputation of our company.

Unroadworthy

This is day two. The battery is 11 years old and been tested by the AA. We have a diesel leak. Today the handbrake will not work and the pedal will not release. When you put the handbrake on the car runs forward. You must park with the gear in ‘park’. This is not a problem but having paid £10k they will not return my money until they have inspected it. Fair enough but I expected a car in working order. Goodness knows how this car got through an MOT. I am not the first person who has difficulties with this company.
