Over Promise, Under Deliver - I'm Angry

Wishpond contacted me several times over the span of a few months last spring. They promised me eagerly that their services would expand the reach of my business and lead to lots of new leads.
From the beginning I was cautious. But they insisted their funnel campaign would increase my business's visibility and bring in customers.
During the first meeting, they seemed very present and eager.
But right away, the communications fell off. They told me they were working on copy and I wouldn't hear from them for awhile until I was the one who followed up. Then all the copy they made was exactly the opposite of what I'd stated were my business goals and personality. I had to do all this work to correct them. They spent more weeks developing more ads.
The ads got zero traction, zero new emails on my list, zero new clients, zero new leads.
Their communication kept dwindling, they didn't even keep in touch once a week. I had to reach out and ask what was going on.
Finally, after three months of no results, I decided to quit their program. I had an email conversation in which I clearly stated I no longer wanted to work with them. They continued to charge my account for 2 months without doing any work whatsoever for several weeks.
So now I'm out all this money with absolutely nothing to show for it, and they continue to say the campaign is getting good results.
It's not. My FB page has 12 likes after several thousand dollars in spending.
Wishpond has provided poor communication, poor ad performance, poor advertising copy with lots of spelling and grammatical errors that I had to fix myself.
No wonder they don't allow Google Reviews of their company. More people would know the truth.

This company won't stop spamming me. After over a dozen emails from different senders over the last years, even though I keep asking them to stop, I am so fed up with this. There is no bigger red flag for a company. Please leave me alone.

Lovely to work with

Asi was great, lovely to work with, so nice and helpful! Really a pleasure to work with, communicative and responsive. It’s a shame we didn’t get better results from the ads they managed but we had a limited budget. Otherwise they were wonderful.

Super Sus. Too many red flags.

Constantly bombard us with sales emails, even though we are a pet adoption initiative. Also almost all positive reviewers having this business as their only review. Sus vibes!

Edit to add: Wishpond have been fighting to get this review removed and I have had to heavily redact this review to keep it live. It would be safe to assume all other negative experiences have had the same issue.

Edit to add: wishpond have continued to cold email me despite my request that they do not contact me again. They have also appealed to trustpilot to have this review removed.

I will rate a ZERO star if I were given…

I will rate a ZERO star if I were given the option. Absolute terrible after sales service. Always have glitch in the landing page builder, when reach out to support agent, they always reply with templated message without any constructive feedback. The response rate is 1 message per day. Close your chat support if you plan to reply your client for once a day, you are better off with email support. Avoid this at all cost!

Wish we would have switched sooner!

We've have been wish Wishpond for 2 months at the time of this review and my experience has been fantastic! The onboarding process was clear and straight forward. The team I was assigned is very responsive and seems to understand my company's vision and goals! They have a standard process they follow for most companies, but they tailor the content and audience to your industry. So far, the past 2 months have been our highest converting months ever! I wish we would have switched to Wishpond sooner. I want to give a shoutout to my technical lead, Ana, thank you so much for your efforts. Ana has created tons of great content and videos for our marketing campaigns.

I am very unhappy with my experience…

I am very unhappy with my experience with Wishpond Marketing. As a startup and a one-person operation, I do not have the time to be worrying about a service I’m paying for. It was difficult to get in touch with them via phone because their employees seem stretched thin. Their design work did not align with our branding at all, so we ended up using our own assets instead. After five months of paying, they finally started a campaign, which was frustratingly late.

All they seem to care about is the monthly subscription — they don’t provide the level of support or customization I expected. I recommend learning marketing tools yourself and doing it on your own. Their one-size-fits-all approach just doesn’t work well for my needs.

Extremely Disappointed - Read before you sign.

Extremely Disappointed – No Results, No Project Management, No Accountability

We are an IT business that was looking to fully outsource our marketing functions across multiple businesses and services. After doing our research, we chose Wishpond. Unfortunately, that decision has turned into a massive waste of both time and money.

Over the course of three months, we spent more than $2,500, not including ad spend on Meta campaigns they ran. The return? Zero. Not a single sale. No leads. No conversions.

Wishpond repeatedly referenced internal “issues” as the reason for delays, but there is absolutely no project management. Despite sitting through 1–2 meetings every week for over 12 weeks, we saw no structure, no delivery milestones, and no accountability. Just ongoing promises and vague reassurances that things were being “worked on.”

We entrusted them with running our marketing end-to-end. What we got was a disorganized process, endless handoffs, and no tangible outcome. At this point, it’s clear this service is not equipped to manage professional marketing at scale.

Do not use this service. If you’re a serious business looking for real results and operational marketing support, look elsewhere.

We've been running ads for our brand through Wishpond for a giveaway campaign and the data + feedback has been very strong. Really looking forward to seeing the results of the sales campaign we are running now. Laura is a fantastic point of contact and is always on hand to help.

Happy customer!

I have met a lot of different people over the last 25 years that have helped me in my business, but I have never met anyone who has such a high degree of professionalism and integrity until I met Felipe.

Felipe from Wishpond has been exceptional to work with. He is attentive, patient, always responds quickly and more importantly has such great ideas on how to keep growing my business and his ability to 'look outside the square' is unique.

And the bonus is that I don't feel like "just another client on the books", I feel like a person totally seen and heard and I really appreciate this about Felipe, and I can't thank him enough for what he has done for my business so far.

Worst agency I’ve tried and I’ve tried a few!

I would highly recommend and encourage you not to use this business. I signed up for 12months of marketing, SEO etc and it was far from ideal. So many mistakes and apologies. They couldn’t even get my business name right and were calling it the same as one of my competitors companies for a while !?!
I live near Vancouver so hoped a Vancouver based business would be a great fit. Turns out they sub/farm most of the work to Africa and Mexico.. This didn’t help with many spelling mistakes and sentences that were written badly.
After a year of disappointments they practically begged me to stay with them. After approx the 1st 11 months, things had finally improved a little, so I gave them a 2nd chance. I didn’t sign any contact though and said I’d pay month to month. Long story short; it got worse and when I told them I was quitting they took another $1000 (monthly fee) from me. Even after giving them sufficient notice. Had to do a charge back with Mastercard..

Total waste of around $20k ?!

We do not remove any SEO work upon cancellation. We don’t hold clients hostage, and we never will. That’s not how we operate. Our mission is to help businesses grow—even if that journey doesn’t include us long-term. If our services aren’t the right fit, we’ll part ways respectfully. Harming a client's business out of spite? That’s flat-out unethical—and we don’t play those games.

Second, regarding the charge after cancellation:
If we made a mistake in billing, email me directly at juanjaramillo@wishpond.com. I’ll personally review the case and ensure it's made right. No runaround, no excuses.

As for your concerns about where our team is based:
We’re a global company with team members in Canada, Mexico, Africa, the U.S., and beyond. That diversity is our strength. But if spelling or language quality was off, that’s a quality control issue we should’ve caught—and I’m sorry we didn’t. That’s on us.

And yes, there were missteps—like the business name error early on—and we own that. But the claim that things improved in month 11 suggests we were on the right path. It's unfortunate we couldn’t keep that momentum.

We won’t always get everything perfect, but we do care deeply about our clients’ success. We’re sorry your experience fell short—and if you’re open to it, we’d still welcome the chance to talk and close this chapter on better terms.

Terrible, awful service

Terrible. I paid on 1st April and 8 weeks later I have nothing useable from them. They have not launched a campaign. They have sent me documents for my approval occasionally that have mostly been a total joke, completely unprofessional and effectively useless. The graphics looked great, apart from that a complete waste of time and money. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

One Solution Never Fits All Your Clients

Our experience with Wishpond was, unfortunately, disappointing. While the platform and team may work well for very generic or early-stage businesses, it quickly became clear that there was a lack of understanding of our industry, our product, and our ideal client. The campaigns delivered were not aligned with our business goals, and several mistakes in delivery added to our frustration.

Wishpond seems to apply a one-size-fits-all approach, which simply doesn't work for businesses with more defined needs or more advanced marketing strategies. If you're new to marketing and looking for basic guidance, perhaps it could be a fit — but for any company seeking tailored strategy, attention to detail, and results-driven execution, this may not be the right partner.

That said, I want to acknowledge the consistent communication from our account manager and the eventual involvement of senior management. After nearly five months of raising concerns, their attention was appreciated — but it came far too late to make a difference in our experience.
