I recently had a consultation with Dr Daniel McNally at Emerald Health, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
From the very beginning, Dr McNally was kind, friendly and extremely professional. He asked me what I wanted from the consultation and whether I would prefer to ask my own questions first or go through my blood results together and ask questions as we went along. I really appreciated being given that choice.

He took the time to explain absolutely everything in terms that I could understand, without making anything feel complicated or overwhelming. I never felt rushed, and I felt that he genuinely listened to me and understood what I wanted to achieve.

Most importantly, I came away from the call feeling happy, reassured and completely content, with no worries. Daniel clearly explained what I needed to do to improve my results and gave me a much better understanding of my health.

The whole process was very easy and my results were back in three days. The report was very detailed and personalised and the doctor was quick to respond. I am certainly very happy with the service and there are not many places you can get a cystatin C test for kidney function. I researched many companies and I felt Emerald offered the best range of markers at a fair cost. I will certainly be continuing my preventative health journey with them.

I have been wanting to improve my general health for a long time now and I decided to go with Emerald.
Initially I had a video call consultation, it was friendly, calm and everything that I needed was explained to me in support of my goal. It was great to actually see the person who will be supporting me and not just an Email.
Few months on am still with Emerald.
Dr McNally is very supportive, always checks up on my progress. No question is too much for him, easily contactable and genuinely cares about my long term health.

Dr Mcnally and his team have been amazing helping me with my weight loss journey. They are always available if I have any questions. I would highly recommend this company Emerald if your looking for weight loss medication. They are very thorough, friendly and understanding.

Having a blood test which highlighted biomarkers indicating future health problems made perfect sense to me.
Testing was fast and easy, and the results came back a few days later with a few surprises which I would never have known through routine NHS testing.
A report giving a detailed explanation of each biomarker was sent with the normal range and significance of any outliers. It was very comprehensive and easy to understand.

Furthermore, Emerald’s aftercare has been superb, notably the time and care the GP took to go through the report. This included a referral letter to my doctor and follow-up calls.
I am now taking steps to reduce my cardiovascular risk thanks to the support and expertise of the Emerald team.

I researched the market to find a suitable blood test with a wide range of result data points. Emerald came out as one of the best value and was also recommended by a friend who I respect as very analytical.

It’s important to read the preparation notes well before the test or it will impact your results. My local Holland & Barret was where I had to go for taking my blood.

The test results were returned after a few days, communication progress was very good.

The results were very comprehensive. I could download them to share with AI in order to create a plan.

After 6 months I decided to pay for the full test again (discounted) as the repeat test only covers 40 parameters and I wanted the whole range.

This has been a very interesting experience after 6 months of controlled diet, exercise and vitamins. I've managed to reduce LDL from over 5 to 3.4 by natural means and have now built a habit to continue further reductions. The Emerald blood test has definitely been in a catalyst for change, hopefully just in time, in order to delay/ minimise future heart disease.

How good is it to have a chat with a doctor that has all you blood panel results and heath markers...so a way more data driven experience than a visit to the local GP. I had Dr McNally who's helpfully walked me through the result to provide context and advise on actionable insights. He was open to running through the findings or being led by my concerns. Turned out he was a founder too so inherently interested in the experience being good. I should have done this before and will again.

Results and follow up meeting with GP all happened in a few days. Very pleased with the entire process. The GP consultation was excellent , friendly and common sense advise. Emerald seems to be more than testing clinic , with support and continue monitoring as needed . so far would highly recommend

Like most people, my experience of healthcare has been ten-minute appointments, being told “your results are normal,” and only ever being seen when something was already wrong. Nobody was looking at the full picture, and nothing was ever really explained.

The report was completely different. The blood panel picked up things I had never once been tested for in years of routine care including a serious vitamin deficiency that had clearly been missed for a long time, and a genetic heart-risk marker I didn't even know existed. Every result was explained in plain English: what it means, why it matters, and what we're doing about it. My Whoop data was reviewed alongside the bloods, so it felt like a full picture of me not just a snapshot on one day.

The video consultation nothing was rushed. Dr Asinger walked me through every single result, answered every question properly, and left me with a clear, prioritised plan. I came off that call understanding my own health better than I have after a decade of standard appointments. It's the difference between being processed and being cared for.

I'm now actually managing my health proactively with follow-ups, retesting and a doctor who knows my history. I've already recommended it to friends and family, and I'd recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

In the UK, healthcare generally works by: you don't know whats happening in the body, time passes, some symptoms rise, you get tests done, you get a shock, and then you work on correcting it.

Emerald changes this, regular feedback allows you to steer things earlier.
