I love joy!!!

Helpful Chat Messaging

Angel, was incredibly helpful with their online virtual help messages, especially as we were setting up our registry on a Sunday evening and was still able to work with a live person rather than chatbot or wait for business hours.

Too many back-end issues

Joy as a platform seems like it should be good, but there are a lot of back-end issues and process that are not user-friendly. We have had multiple issues with emails not displaying in the way it says (eg, coming from 'Joy' instead of the couple's name when that was specifically set up before spending). The process for sending out virtual save the dates and invites is also not particularly user-friendly, and there's a lack of clarity about what recipients will receive in the body of an email vs a separate thing that they have to click into. Furthermore, there were issues with version control of saved templates and customized physical invitations that caused headaches; this led to a major issue with attempts at physical invitations that ended up wasting a lot of our time.

The accommodation booking function is inaccurate

The accommodation booking function is not accurate. It allows booking of accommodation which in fact is not actually available on the hosts website.

Responsive

Responsive, patient and offers options for solutions. I've read reviews and concerns about technical difficulties with RSVP system, and even though I experienced some, they were responsive to help resolve them. Very quick. Even when it was the virtual assistant, someone came in quickly to take over and help. They also provided coverage/back-up for when change in staff. I'm very pleased customer, who was once super concerned.

I have used the joy for my website and…

I have used the joy for my website and invitations. I posted my website with the temporary or fake pictures and stories not realizing that they would stay. I better experience for me would be to not publish a page until i have made changes or taken an action to approve what is there. It was embarrassing to have guests let me know there were pictures of other people on my website.
