My mother was traveling from Suceava…

My mother was traveling from Suceava to Birmingham on July 2nd, 2026 (Booking Reference: HWYDTG). She had a cabin bag that weighed exactly 8 kg, which had easily passed all checks on previous flights without any issues. At the gate in Suceava, she was stopped and asked to pay a baggage fee. While the financial side is one thing, the way she was treated is completely unacceptable.
When my mother tried to calmly explain that the bag was only 8 kg and had always been accepted before, a female gate agent completely lost her temper and started wildly screaming at her. It was an unprovoked, aggressive scream directed at a passenger. No matter the luggage rules, no employee has the right to yell at and humiliate customers. This immense stress brought my mother to tears and deeply traumatized her for the entire evening during and after the flight.
I filed a formal complaint regarding this severe breach of professional ethics. Instead of investigating the staff's behavior, Wizz Air customer support (agent N. Stoyanova) just sent me generic, copy-pasted templates about bag sizes. In their final email, they cynically stated that their "position remains unchanged".
By doing this, Wizz Air is actively covering up the aggressive and abusive behavior of their personnel. They do not care about customer service or basic human decency. Absolutely shameful.

If I could give 0 stars I would do it.

If I could give 0 stars I would do it.
I have payed for the service “sitting together “ which they say it’s guaranteed that the places will be one next to each other. However we got the places 4 and 24 (i don’t know in what universe they are next to each others)… and the client service refused to refund me. Terrible customer service and company! To avoid at all costs!

Avoid this scamming airline

The most shitty company in the world, they steal in front of you, they put us in the priority hoarding even if we didn't buy priority tickets, and There's of course no priority at all, after brought that sh1t measuring item for luggages that was more thinner than usual, just to pay extra.

All you can fly subscription

Wizz air “all you can fly” is the biggest scam in history, I’m am traveling each week and was thinking I could benefit from having the subscription, but I have not been able to use it more then 3 times to date, over the past 4 months (keep in mind I’m flying 2 times each week), so each time I have been forced to book the travel thru Wizz airs normal site to full price, and surprisingly enough then at several occasions the flights has been “empty” with several seats empty,

i would not recommend anyone to spend money on the all you can fly subscription it is a scam and a waste of your money.

Don't buy is a scam!!! DONT WARNED !!!

Wizz Air’s “All You Can Fly” pass is very misleading. After purchasing it, I discovered that I’m unable to book many flights — even ones that appear half empty. There is no transparency about how many seats are allocated to pass holders or why certain flights are unavailable.

These major restrictions are not clearly explained when you buy the pass. “All You Can Fly” sounds flexible and accessible, but in reality availability seems extremely limited. I feel misled about what I actually paid for.

I would strongly advise others to fully understand the hidden limitations before purchasing.

REFUND MISSING AND NO ONE ANSWERS AFTER 2 MONTHS

They over booked my flight. Fine. Offered an alternative flight in another city. They sent me to another city to take the flight to my destination, and I PAID for that flight. I was ENSURED I will get my money back and guess what. I DIDN'T STILL, AFTER 2 MONTHS. I SENT OVER 20 EMAILS and absolutely no ONE is answering. I sent messages on Instragram, nothing. The chat bot on the website doesn't work either of course. I called. Every single time NO ONE actually helped me. Also customer service satisfaction = 0. I am waiting for 2 months for my refund. I submitted the claim in september and now in november, still nothing. No one answers my emails either. WHEN AM I EVER GOING TO RECEIVE MY REFUND? Also HOW is this normal? For a LOW COST COMPANY, you pay hundreds of euros, you get absolutely nothing on the flight, and to ensure you have a place in the plane YOU PAID FOR, you have to buy extra's.

A 60-second mistake cost me €300 – how Wizz Air profits from human error

I booked flights via the Wizz Air app for myself, my wife, and our 4-year-old son. I was tired, and I accidentally selected CRA (Craiova) → CRL (Charleroi) instead of the correct direction: CRL → CRA. It was an honest, human mistake. I noticed it less than one minute after confirming payment.

I contacted Wizz Air immediately. But I was faced with a system that:
• Offers no grace period – not even 5 minutes,
• Charged me 1,533 RON (~€309) to modify the booking,
• Or 1,440 RON (~€290) to cancel it,
• While the total paid for the flight was 1,176 RON (~€237).

They rejected my request and replied that I should’ve purchased WIZZ Flex. But I had no intention to cancel or change my plans. I just wanted to correct a booking mistake — and I tried to do so immediately.

This route (Charleroi ↔ Craiova) is frequently overbooked. Wizz Air is known to sell more tickets than seats (legally permitted). It’s almost certain that our 3 seats will be resold if we don’t check in.
So Wizz Air will lose nothing. On the contrary — they’ll likely profit twice from the same seats.

For example Ryanair — known for being strict — gives passengers 24 hours to fix such mistakes for free. Wizz Air? Not even one minute.

I submitted a complaint to the European Consumer Centre (ECC Belgium). Their response? They confirmed that Wizz Air is allowed (legally) to refuse any refund — even if the mistake is caught 0.00001 seconds after booking. But even they admitted: “We regret the rigid commercial approach of Wizz Air.”

This isn’t about money anymore. It’s about principle:
• About a system that punishes a harmless error like a crime,
• About a business that profits not just from tickets, but from your slip-ups,
• And about a customer experience where empathy has been replaced by algorithms.

Mistakes can be forgiven. But only if someone wants to.

Triple-check your airport codes if you fly with Wizz Air. Because if you make a mistake, you won’t get a second chance.

I didn’t.

They take money for no service provided…

They take money for no service provided - this is robbery! At the moment of purchase, I was proposed to also buy parking for the car. I did it for 15 days, but I never received any details about it. When I went to the airport, no one recognized my parking payment, so I had to pay it one more time, this time even more expensive, of course!
After 3 days, I complained on their site about this, and they sent me the parking code and its location (which, btw, was not at the airport, as promised, but a few km farther)! In any case, I was already at my destination by that time, while the car in another parking. I required a refund, but nothing at all! How can this be for such a big company!?

Overbooking WTF policy?

Me and my wife booked connected flights (with this Wizz company, for the last time) to Indonesia and they didnt let us onboard due to their stupid "overbooking greedy policy" for which they take more tickets then the plane has seats, so we got put on stand-by, as if we didnt pay for tickets like any other. We missed ALL our future flights practicaly cancelling our entire vacation.
I hope people look for other reliable companies, we surely learned our lesson. Its a crazy greedy policy on which tjey can choke all their CEO's.
Bye WIZZ

Thieves!

Returning to Denmark from Bucharest airport with Wizzair.
We will never fly with wizzair again! We paid for our tickets and seats online, but arriving at their desk, they told us, that we were not in their system!?!
We knew, we were and wanted to show them our online ticket, but couldn't open their site - it just popped off every time.(Very convenient for them). However, after we had entered the security zone with no return possible, we could easily open it, but then it was too late).
So we had to pay our tickets one more time. Funny enough - they gave us the exact same reservation number and seatnumber as we already had in our online ticket. I'm sure they earn a lot of money this way on tired confused and insecure customers. A waste of money!

Terrible Experience with Wizz Air at Brașov Airport - Avoid at All Costs!

My recent experience with Wizz Air at Brașov Airport was an absolute nightmare. I paid extra for priority boarding, only to find out there was no priority at all. It was a complete waste of money.

The customer service was abysmal. The staff was unhelpful and disorganized, and it was clear that no one knew what they were doing. There was no sense of structure or efficiency, leading to long, frustrating waits and general chaos.

I strongly advise against flying with Wizz Air from Brașov Airport. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this airline at all costs. Terrible service, complete lack of organization, and a total disregard for customers. Never again!

This is an inhumane airline

This is an inhumane airline. Our flight from Bucharest to Milan was delayed for 4 hours - one of which we spent in the plane - and they didn't offer the passengers a glass of water. My wife is pregnant and there were lots of old people around. I will never fly with them again. Find yourself another flight, avoid at any cost!
