Absolutely shocking service
Absolutely shocking service. We had a broken security intercom and called WLS to come and take a look and arrange a replacement. The engineer arrived and looked at the device for a few minutes then said he would try a firmware update. He spent close to an hour trying to download the software then spent hours trying to reset the password. He kept telling us we would not be charged for the extra time it had taken to reset the password. Eventually he left without having done anything other than tell me what I knew - the thing was broken. In the process the engineer did not replace the intercom correctly and it kept blaring out an alarm.
After this experience we contacted another company and they quickly identified that keypad was physically damaged and did not have power. They needed the password for the central controller, but the WLS engineer had not given it to us after resetting it. When we called the WLS engineer refused to share it with us leaving us locked out of our own system. We then phoned the WLS office and were told that we would have to reset it again. Given it had apparently taken the WLS engineer several hours we were obviously quite annoyed by this. Surprisingly, the other company's engineer did this in less than 5 minutes, so I have no idea what the WLS engineer was doing in all that time.
WLS completly wasted my time and then had the gall to try to invoice us for hundreds of pounds for the time the engineer had wasted trying to install software on a device that didn't even have power.

Eriglen Was my engineer, he arrived exactly on time, was extremely courteous and resolved the issue with my intruder alarm extremely quickly. This is the second time I have used WLS and on both occasions everyone I spoke with has been friendly and helpful. Carol and Daisy were extremely efficient in sorting out a next day appointment for me, fitting in with my schedule. I would not hesitate to recommend WLS.

I booked this appointment for the next day. The engineer came on time and was lovely. He fixed the gate perfectly and showed me how to change the batteries in the sensor myself in future. And he showed me how to programme the new remote. So not only is my gate fixed very quickly, I now know how to do the basic bits myself. Delighted.
