Wonder Ink is a great curriculum!
Wonder Ink is a great curriculum so far. The lessons cover foundational Bible stories while providing many opportunities for kids to be challenged to grow spiritually.
website needs improvements
certain tabs on the website take forever to load. The guides as we call them that you should be able to print right from the page are not easily edited so we have to copy and past to a word doc. We came from orange where we had many many more options. we like that all ages are learning the same thing. We wish Large group had a game type ice breaker for kids.

I love the content
I love the content. The website is not super user friendly for people that are not very tech savvy. The videos they provide are somewhat helpful, but I personally really just needed someone to talk to. I would highly recommend the curriculum. I am using this curriculum weekly and very happy with it.
Content and Heart, Yes! Ease of digitally sharing content, not so much
The content and heart behind the lessons is excellent. I love that this curriculum encourages kids to wonder about God. They don't immediately give them the answers, but allow them to ponder and be curious first.
My only complaint is how the curriculum is accessed and how the videos/slides are shared with the classrooms. It is difficult to share the curriculum with your class with anything short of a laptop (we use ipad minis) and that's been a big hurdle that we haven't mastered yet.
Almost 5 star
We're loving the content, the Biblical depth combined with thoughtful questions to draw kids in, the variety of supporting activities, and ease of prep for leaders! I've experienced some glitches in the online content saving to presentation mode and some of the material on the parent portal, but customer service is very speedy and helpful.
I have been trying to get help to navigate the curriculum.
I have been trying to get help to navigate Wonder Ink. I thought when I went through the samples, that it would be an easy transition. It is not - it would actually create more work on my volunteer staff in means of navigating the technology piece vs. what we are using now.
I emailed and chatted with someone who said they would login and help me, but never heard from them past that. Have tried to call and get placed on hold for long periods of time, to which I don't have time to wait. Therefore, I decided that this curriculum is just not going to work for our church and requested a cancellation. Again, no reply from David C. Cooke. Not like my past experiences with the company.

Thankful!
The gospel is being taught! The hands on activities really correlate with the lesson. I am happy about the changes that have been made so far and look forward to more. (When it comes to the ease of editing the lesson plans online). Thankful for how helpful the help email is! I always get a quick response.
The curriculum is great
The curriculum is great. The technology piece of curriculum is confusing. It doesn’t seem easy to cast curriculum or videos easily to tv unless you have a laptop. Our church has an iPad but not laptop. However the curriculum itself is well written and wonderful. I hoping the technology piece gets easier.

I’m more of a learner through print vs video. It would be helpful to have directions in print. I missed a couple of steps to activate my volunteers. I clicked activate but didn’t realize I needed to assign them a role to enable them to see the curriculum. Everyone loves the material!
Wonderful tool
I love the fact that I can have follow up conversations about what the children learn every week. It's a wonderful way to add to our daily devotionals.

Easy to use and customizable to our church community. Varied lesson lengths also add to this ease. The lessons are engaging, meaningful, and meet the core values we want our children to know as they mature in the faith. We are so excited to begin this journey with WonderInk.
A fresh quality curriculum for a broad age group
I really like wondering. It took some practice to learn how to use the app but once I got comfortable with it we have successfully implemented it in our children's program. I like the variety on the videos and the shorter length.I like the emphasis on application so that class is more than just telling a story. It is a discipleship opportunity.
When I took the job as Children's Minister...
When I took the job as Children's Minister at our congregation, I knew we needed a change in the curriculum - what used to work, was not going to work anymore. I scoured the curriculum available, never "feeling" I had the right one. Then, in the midst of setting up for VBS, I came across WonderInk. I set up a meeting to discuss the curriculum, and I fell in love. We started WonderInk in August, and I cannot be happier with ALL that we have seen in our classrooms. One of the biggest pieces for me was the AT HOME materials available for parents. I am incredibly grateful for the long hours and thought that have gone into this curriculum. I'm looking forward to seeing what the next 2.5 years bring.

We love the curriculum ideas
We love the curriculum ideas, lesson and activities. The videos are fantastic and we like the variety. Many curriculums provide a lot of activity ideas that are not always realistic/useful/in line with the aim of the story. Wonder Ink is very helpful to our staff and volunteer leaders.
When we have emailed about tech support for the website, we have received timely, helpful responses.
Thank you for partnering with us on this journey!

Need a clear directory
Sometimes locating the correct media materials is a challenge when navigating the system online and if you are looking for just the current script or the current media slides. There should be a directory view to get to files quickly and easily.

Overall set up not user friendly…
I had a terrible time figuring out how to add volunteers to invite list.
Scheduled a zoom meeting which was automatically processed. Recieved an automatic verification to meet. Waited on zoom for 30 minutes at my school because latest time for eastern time was 3:15. No one showed up. Emailed staff that no one showed up and found out that person was out on leave in Ohio. Overall felt that lack of personal contact and the work I had to do to find a live person for support was sorely lacking. Please don't assume everyone can follow your vague instructional videos. I am a full time educator and found it very difficult to navigate your dashboard.

User Friendly
Wonder Ink is a great Christian education company to work with! Not only are the lessons and ancillary materials easy to access and use, if I do have a question, they are prompt in responding. They even follow up to make sure all is going well with our use of the program and offer suggestions for how we can enhance our experience.
