How Jonathan and Wonsulting gives hope, inspiration and motivation to the aspiring Filipino VAs.

Jonathan has been a very great help to the aspiring Filipino VAs. I am actually a lowkey supporter of Jonathan, I’ve been reading his posts, watching videos of him helping some Filipinos find jobs. I am also an aspiring VA and looking for a work from home job that has greater opportunities, long term career growth and with stability. Although, I haven’t tried applying yet with wonsulting since I checked every job description and I feel that my skills and experiences doesn’t match the available position, I am still happy that Jonathan inspires people and motivates to not give up and look for the positive side of life. It is always showing up and giving your best regardless of the outcome or result. Soon, hopefully I could also be part of his team or maybe I could find a client that aligns well with my skills amd experiences. In God’s perfect time and will.

I've been a follower to their Facebook…

I've been a follower to their Facebook page and have seen several videos on how Jonathan helped those bread winners. I also came across on his video about revising resume and I followed his tips because I realized that my previous resume was a mess. After revising it, I was able to land into my first US client. Thank you so much

Do NOT waste your money here

Do NOT waste your money here! Complete scam.
This company is quick to promise you the world when they want your cash, but the moment you pay, they completely ghost you. I have sent multiple emails and haven't received a single reply. To make matters worse, the contact details listed on their site are completely fake and unreachable.
When I demanded a refund for their non-existent service, they flat-out refused to give my money back. They take your payment, cut off all communication, and steal your hard-earned cash. Save yourself the nightmare and take your business far away from these frauds!

Was a prospective client.. not anymore

Was a prospective client... but Wonsulting managed to lose my business before a human being ever actually spoke to me.

I scheduled a consultation with sales rep AH via Google Meet, only for them to cancel at last minute with zero explanation. When I called their phone line during standard business hours to find out what happened, I was routed nothing. No answers, no voicemail, and zero callbacks. The only interactive response I finally managed to get was from a New York customer support line (Elise was her name?) that hung up on me the moment before I even started asking questions.

A career consulting company that fails at basic communication, ghosting prospective clients before even answering a single question, is a massive red flag. Save your money and sanity by looking elsewhere.

So, at the end, they stole my money.

So, let me tell you how it went, because they replied to me in my other review, saying they had a problem but after that, they had assigned me a mentor. They did. She made one curriculum that was good (Nothing that Chatgpt couldn´t have done... actually, pretty much the same... but it was good). After that, they started applying for a bunch of random jobs. Zero responses for months. Then, I got a pre screening call. just that. Since it went through their platform, they sent me an e mail saying "their job was done". I e mailed them saying that it was just a pre screening call and that it didn´t go good (The job didn´t align with my background), but I was totally ghosted. Then today, after a month, I got an automatic e mail from them, saying that my request for cancellation was successful. I didn´t request any cancellation, before them coming here saying that they revised and I asked for it. I didn´t. So, to sum up... they stole my money. Not even an interview. Don´t let this happen to you.

Hi Nathalie, thank you for coming back with the details. The pre-screening call getting closed out as a completed placement, level of support, and the cancellation notice you got. Those are different problems, and I can see how frustrating that can be.

I'd rather sort this out with your actual file in front of me than in a comment thread. Email me directly at jordan@wonsulting.com with the address on your account, and I'll pull the application history, the call notes, and trace where that cancellation trigger came from.

WonsultingAI has human experts in getting you a job!

In the same week I got laid off, I received a job offer — something I don't think would have happened without Wonsulting.

I started my job search with Wonsulting on June 3rd and wrapped it up by June 30th.

Before signing up for Wonsulting, I tried rebuilding my resume with various AI tools, including the WonsultingAI resume builder. I tried so many prompts to make sure it was ATS-ready and showcased my skills properly, but sadly it wasn't working. I was getting 1 interview per 150 applications.

While the AI tools got my resume to a good spot, Stephon and his team got it to a place where I was getting multiple interviews. My LinkedIn also was getting way more views than ever before!

I'm mainly writing this review because, while I do think you can do this yourself and build some auto-apply AI bot, the missing piece for me was a human expert who knows the hiring game well.

Aside from getting your LinkedIn and resume ready, Full Service Apply (FSA) is the real game changer. Someone who knows you and your skills is filling out applications you may actually qualify for.

I didn't really use InterviewAI, EasyApply, or the networking tools. One thing I wasn't aware of going in: FSA only applies to a limited number of jobs, and it stops once you receive an offer — after that, you're applying to jobs yourself. I possibly missed this when reading so not knocking them but worth highlighting my experience.

So, in my opinion, is this worth it? It depends on where you are in your job search. Before signing up, I'd been casually applying to jobs over the past 11 months — I made it to 4 final rounds and got 0 offers. In my first 30 days with Wonsulting, I had 4 interviews, 2 final rounds, and 1 offer.

The sessions and correspondence with Stephon gave me confidence that he knew what he was doing. He was also incredibly responsive during the negotiation phase and helped calm me down during a stressful process.

One word of caution: the role I ended up taking wasn't really in the salary range I was hoping for, and I don't think salary targeting is something they factor in the way I assumed it would be. Worth keeping in mind going in.

I want to shout out two people: Stephon Fields and Laura A., my other partner as part of the Wonsulting package. Both were extremely vital in my search and deserve all the recognition.

DO NOT PAY FOR FSA

DO NOT DO THE FSA

This program is a scam and they get you to join with lies and scam tactics. It is not personalized at all and they offer no support at all.

First of all, I joined the program in February and it took 2-3 weeks to even onboard and get assigned a coach. Then once I got a coach it was 4 sessions. I explained I needed technical help for interviews and the mock interview was ChatGPT questions and totally unrelated to the interviews for my kind of roles (swe). After those 4, 30 minute sessions you are basically left to fend on your own. There is no follow up from coaches and they don’t guide you on the journey you can only get another session if you submit a ticket. (Btw that support ticket forum and email is broken I suggest admin fix that)

Second, when I was deciding to join the program I spoke with an advisor that basically said yes we will do that to questions I had regarding the program but none of it was true. I was looking for technical interview prep help from a coach that would be in my field but I got none of that. I also asked if they would apply until I got a job but they stopped applying for me as soon as I got one interview that was for a role that I wasn’t even interested in taking.

FSA also kept RANDOMLY APPLYING to roles I was not a fit for and I did not want and did not fit the criteria I was looking for. It took WEEKS for them to fix this and apply to the roles I requested. I had to email MULTIPLE people to get this even resolved. What a JOKE AND WASTE OF TIME.

I purchased the service with the understanding that they would continue applying for jobs until I secured an offer. However, after I received my first interview, they stopped applying on my behalf, even though I had not accepted a job, didn’t pass that interview and the role did not meet the criteria I had originally discussed.

After all these mishaps I asked a full refund and they admitted they were at fault and gave me a partial refund but when I requested a full refund since this program is not at all what I was told they just GHOSTED ME.

You are basically paying $2k for a ChatGPT revised resume, 4 sessions and then for them to mass apply to random roles for 1 interview and that is about it.

Totally not what I expected or was told and didn’t get me the result I want. I highly highly caution anyone using these services.

Hi Laurie, I'm sorry you didn't hear back after asking for a full refund, that shouldn't have happened.

We want to look into what happened after your first interview, why the applications stopped, and the ticket system issue you flagged. If you're open to it, kindly email me directly at jordan@wonsulting.com and we can pick this up from there.
We're revamping our customer support and would like to get back to older clients that did not get the best experience from us.

Very unprofessionally run service

This is a very unprofessionally run service. I had several issues with wonsulting. I am an experience professional that was looking for assistance in my job search for lack of time. I had specifically enquired if they had the expertise to handle a professional with over two decades of experience. They seemed confident, so i went ahead with them given their refund guarantee. For one, their coaches do not have the experience and the coach i was assigned was highly unprofessional and nasty in her demeanor. She did not handle the basics of my case well, and as a result the jobs applied to were for an entry level person. I requested for a change of coach. The change of coach was again not handled properly, with the incoming coach not provided any debrief on my situation. Overall I used the service for linkedin and resume. The job applications did not materialize to a win. And their customer service is a work of art with no responses. I do not recommend this service especially if you are a senior professional.

GHOSTED ME WHEN ASKED FOR REFUND.

I dont usually leave bad reviews, if i do, then it must be really bad. I paid for the service with 90days job offer guaranteed, now extended to 120 without notice. Mine has been 120, and NOT A SINGLE INTERVIEW from wonsulting resume, let alone a job offer. They mass applied to random jobs that were not really align with my background or goals, and i do think the resume is somewhat weak too - that's why i got no interview at all, 4months. But yeah, i used claude for free instead to fix my resume i got few callbacks. Anyway, i tried to contact them several times for refunds, not hear a word, at all, nothing, no reply. At this point i might comment to founder's posts on linkedin or instagram. Everywhere. I trusted their branding on tiktok, linkedin etc. What a shame to trash your reputation this way. What a value to live for, to rob unemployed people this way

immoral and horrible with resumes

They are horrible with resumes and teach people to lie and be fake with fake buzz words to get hired. This company has no morals or ethics along with being a incompetent. They took out my entire education section and every other section except for work experience. They would not let me add it back it and even with trying to make a new resume it would not let me add education details. When I tried to pick my target job as a Police Officer it told me my experience did not align with my retail experience thus saying that I am not qualified. I am planning to become a Police Officer it is what I am in school for. In addition to that they have videos on Facebook and YouTube that promote lying on your resume which is immoral and dishonest. It shows a lack of integrity and morals. I do not recommend this site, YouTube page and Facebook page to anyone who has values.

Hi Kristi, the resume builder shouldn't have removed your education section or blocked you from adding it back in, that could be a bug, and we want to get your resume fixed properly.

To be clear on our approach: We never teach anyone to lie in their interviews nor resumes. What we teach is how to present your real experience well, not to change what that experience is.

Kindly email me directly at jordan@wonsulting.com and I'll take it from there.

The experience was very smooth and one…

The experience was very smooth and one of the important factor was my career coach Stephon Fields, he was there for me all along the way, helped me as a friend to get over the things i had trouble with, understood the facts that i presented and managed everything and was very flexible for me to have a conversation anytime, overall i really appreciated his support and presence and it really helped me achieved one of my biggest dreams, i wish him all the best and thats sums up my experience.

Don't spend your money here - Not Worth it

Don't spend your money here. I joined the job guarantee program as a product manager with 6+ years of experience, and it felt built for volume, not people. Almost no real 1:1 support. The coaching was weak, and I was told I was doing well in our mock interviews when I clearly wasn't, which is useless when you're trying to actually improve.
I had to hire an outside coach, James Gunaca, to get the honest feedback I was paying Wonsulting for. I also scrapped the resume and LinkedIn they gave me. The worst part was the applications. They mass-applied to roles that didn't fit my background, like nobody was even looking.
When I documented all of this and asked for a refund, they refused. I'm out roughly ~$2,000 and had to pay for a second program to get real help.
Save yourself the money and the months. Find a smaller or 1:1 program with someone who actually works in your field. This was a bad experience and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Hi Ben, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience has felt frustrating and that aspects of the program did not meet your expectations.

We understand how difficult and emotional the job search process can be, especially in today’s market, and we never want a client to feel unsupported during that journey.

After reviewing your account, we can confirm that an interview was secured during your program, which activated the 120-day guarantee period outlined in our Terms & Conditions. At this time, your guarantee window is still active, and our team remains committed to supporting you throughout the remainder of that process.

We also take concerns around coaching quality, application targeting, and communication seriously. If there are specific areas you feel need further review, we encourage you to submit a ticket through help.wonsulting.com so our Customer Experience team can investigate directly with the appropriate managers.

While we understand your disappointment, we truly are rooting for your success and remain committed to helping you reach your goal of landing the right opportunity.
