The service is the real issue

The service is the real issue. Will not keep you posted on updates( took me 3 messages post 15 days of payment to get a responseto my engraved box), will not despatch in time and will blame the 3rd party delivery service for delays and issues. Poor experience. Dont recommend it.

Great quality products!

I have made multiple orders from Woodgeek Store and I am always amazed at their quality. I recently ordered notebooks and a hanging nameplate. Everybody loved the products. Their customer service was also pretty good, keeping me informed about the process and timeline.

Absolutely unprofessional

Absolutely unprofessional. I have ordered a name plate and requested for urgent delivery. Even after 2weeks , they never shared the tracking id, not picked up my call. Always gave lame excuses like Amazon has lost the order , we will send it tomorrow and so on . Share it with your friends/instagram/facebook page with your friends to avoid this company.

Dishonest Company

I asked for a refund on a product and after 3 months I have not gotten any money back. I changed my mind after I seen their design and didn’t like it as much as I thought I would. It wasn’t made, or shipped. I asked for my money back and they just made the same excuse over and over. Will not be buying anything else from this company. And I recommend others to chose a more honest company to buy from.

Custom Design Heart Shaped Engagement

I ordered a custom design heart shaped engagement tray and although the design time took some time and the price was more than I expected, the end product was wonderful. Recommend to have extra time if you are looking to have it customised.

I would surely recommend woodgeekstore and use them again.

Opaque order processing and extremely rude customer service

A three pronged review on why to avoid these guys:

Processing of order:

I had recently placed an order for an off-the-shelf set of coasters and stand. Fairly simple, small order by all means. Once my payment was processed I had no communication from their end and had to chase the customer care to get updates.

Finally, when I received the product a week later, it came damaged.

Customer service:

I couldn’t get through on call to the customer service so I wrote them an email and reached out to their Instagram business page. The insta page was the only one that bothered to respond.

The response was almost worse than the non responsiveness! They told me to “calm down” when I raised this very legitimate concern and got increasingly rude when I asked them (quite reasonably toned, mind you, this wasn’t a confrontational engagement) to process a refund. “No product, no refund.” I’m told. I followed up saying I’m happy to return the product, they need only arrange a reverse pick up. I was ghosted after this… so, I would avoid this store like the plague.

Product quality:

Their quality of wood looks maybe halfway decent but I doubt it is seasoned or treated the way it snapped so easily in half.

I bought a set of wooden tea glasses…

I bought a set of wooden tea glasses with customised names. Loved their communication on whatsapp. They answered all my queries. The wooden tea glasses themselves are beautiful. Its a permanent fixture on my dining table.

Horrible service. Disappointing product. Feel cheated.

After struggling to contact them for weeks after placing the order, what they finally sent was not what I had ordered. Their contact number does not exist. A dangerous site to order from since the website is very enticing and products look very good. Terribly disappointing service and end product unsatisfactory. Money lost. You would be wise to avoid.

Sign is Worth the Wait

When I first ordered was not clear at all that this was coming from overseas and that is why I am only giving this four stars.

I ordered it on 10/17 and received it 11/2. The company communicated well and responded to emails timely.

The sign was worth the wait. It is well made and exactly as the design I chose.

Very poor service from the company

Very poor service from the company. Ordered item but even after 20 days it has not been dispatched. There has not been any communication from the company also regarding delay is shipment. Now they are giving excuses that they prepared order and it got wet. So they had to redo the complete order. But they did not communicate about this. It was a birthday gift for someone. Now birthday has gone. Now there is no point in that gift..

Nice Poster but Poor Service and Tacky Website Branding

The poster I ordered is as advertised, unfortunately including the website address burned into the design which I think looks tacky/misplaced. It took far longer than advertised to arrive, the customs declaration was wrong forcing me to pay extra fees, and I was not kept up to date with the progress of my order.

I placed my order on 6th June and received confirmation that it was in production on 9th June with an estimated production time of 2 - 3 working days and estimated delivery of 7 days. On 26th of June I asked for an update as I had not received any notification about the order being shipped, but I received no reply to my enquiry.

On 3rd July delivery was attempted, but as there had been a customs charge and no advanced notification of the delivery (or the extra fees to pay) the delivery was aborted. After another failed delivery, and doing some digging through the original order email to find the order on the Wood Geek website and from there the tracking number for the parcel, I was able to pay the additional fees online and retrieve the parcel from a UPS pickup location on 10th July. It would have been sooner but the pick-up location advertised the wrong opening hours so I had to try twice.

Checking the tracking reveals the order was only dispatched on 29th June - 17 working days after the order was placed (advertised lead time was up to 10 working days).

Finally, I was charged £20 extra import duty (tax) and charges presumably because of an incomplete or incorrect customs declaration.

Overall I would recommend staying away from this company and I would not order from them again.
