I had to give 1 star but wanted to give none. Do not use this company and thank goodness wren no longer uses their products. We will have to take up every part of the flooring that was laid on Monday due to poor quality and awful black marks which in no way replicates real wood. The flooring also has marks that show white patches in the middle which looks like burn holes. This is not a cheap product but unfortunately the flooring does reflect the high cost and if we had seen a larger sample would never ever chosen this awful flooring.be warned!!!

Had some problems with floor but was sorted out very well thank you

I really wish I would have googled the company and flooring before purchasing it through Wren. After reading multiple reviews of the poor quality and defects of this exact same flooring. (They must of all used underlay too, which they included in one sneaky little sentence in the instructions not to do). Although from the reviews here the guarantee means nothing and it's never the products fault.
Many of the boards arrive chipped and puckered before even laying, which we had to discard and use as off cuts. You can tell the floor isn't going to last. It's been less than a year and already the poor quality is showing and that has nothing to do with underlay. The quality of this product isn't fit for purpose and makes a beautiful kitchen look cheap.
We probably have another 6 months before it's completely useless and then we will have to rip it all up and find a more suitable reputable company.
I'm shocked they offer no assistance in rectifying what they know to be a substandard product to try and keep their affiliation with Wren.
SAVE YOUR MONEY....THE FLOOR WILL CHIP, BUCKLE, PEEL, BEND. All under a year and at your own cost. Shoddy product.

Do not buy from this company …. Bought flooring , within a year chips, warping etc … they sent someone all the way to Scotland , confirmed the material was faulty and they would replace …. Blah blah …..NOTHING … won’t even reply to e mails

We required 2 extra packs of flooring as decided to continue flooring into downstairs WC, Yorick was very helpful and directed me to order online for quickness. I would recommend Woodpecker Brecon Herringbone flooring

Yorick was very helpful and answered my questions about the product. I would recommend Woodpecker flooring

Herringbone flooring started separating, the top coat laminate peeling away. The product was purchased via a deal with Wren Kitchens, I thought the price was too good to be true!
I don't know how to reply to woodpeckers reply below. But I tried to resolve this with you, and you sent someone out and he concluded that the floor was not level and that was that. We were talking of a large dinning room, living room and part kitchen area and the small not level area was minimal to the overall quality of the product. The peeling of the laminate, the detached supposed click and lock, the separation of boards on areas that have not use made is very clear to us this is a poor product and not a leveling issue. Which when we enquired prior to purchase we advised of tolerances with the product. Of which there is in fact no tolerance whatsoever in level or general use.
We have accepted that this is a battle you are not prepared to put right, or accept poor quality of a product when you are currently trying to sell a similar or in fact the same product in a well known builders merchants. I guess that is the nature of reviews, for consumers to form their own opinion from those reviews. We have since had the complete floor replaced to a great product also sold in a well known builders merchants of a far more superior quality.

Brecon oak... chipping, splitting and spidering. Floor layed 14 months ago.
Happy to chat to other customers .
Original flooring supplied has been discontinued and replaced by a 3mm thicker plank. Woodpecker called out and said it appeared stones were under the entire floor and had caused the problem .Definitely not the case. This is in the hall, kitchen, lounge, utility and dining room.
We have had an independent review, and are compiling a case , with others who have had same problem.

Exceptional quality product! We are so happy with our engineered floor panels and plan to renovate other rooms with the same product. I had a skilled friend help me with the fitting which was straight forward.

Simple chat conversation about delivery. Helpful.

I have been going around in circles for months with Woodpecker telling me that the extra wall to floor trim pieces they have sent are the same other than slight differences due to the manufacturing process. It is bad enough that neither trim matches the flooring, but now I am supposed to finish my flooring off with a trim that is of a completely different colour and pattern to that already laid down in the rest of the room? Unbelievable.

We love it! Good quality product, great colour, great fit together, or so the fitter says, looks great and feels great, appears to be hard wearing but time will tell, easy to maintain with a swiffer! Enough said!

I bought a new kitchen in jan 2024 from benchmarx,i enquired about new flooring and was recommended brecon 6mm from woodpecker it was only dont a couple of months when it started cracking and chipping off,i contacted woodpecker and was finally contacted in dec and was told i would get a response in 2 weeks ,after contacting them in jan and feb they finally got back in touch and said it was because of the underlay that was used, the fitting instructions weren't in the packs but when i told them i was sent an email with all the instructions,a little to late, bad product and customer service would not recommend the product or the company

Tradesman. I have fitted an awful lot of flooring. In regards their click system nothing compares to the quality of Woodpecker Flooring. It is so much thicker than anything else I’ve put down. It goes together beautifully.
It will be the only one I recommend to customers from now on.

This the 2nd project we have used Woodpecker flooring on. It is extremely good quality and the look is just amazing. Really transformed the rooms.
Had a slight issue with a few planks that were damaged in transit but Woodpecker replaced them.

Reply from Woodpecker Flooring
Really disappointed. Love the colour of the flooring I ordered, but even straight after installation, some scratches appeared and the whole look at the floor was ruined. This is strange given that I only ever wear slippers in the house. I fully plan as soon as I can afford to replace this flooring as it is not the quality I expected and I now can’t recommend it to anyone. Described as super durable, I totally disagree. I’ve only had it 2 months and everyone agrees it looks poor.
