Don’t Buy These “Charity” Lamps

Like many others, I fell for this Instagram post scam, I never thought it would happen to me, but it did. They use stolen videos from other creators and pair them with shelter footage to sell cheap plastic lamps at a premium price. I paid £26 for mine and even donated an extra £8 because I thought I was supporting their cause. Sadly, I found out later it’s all a scam, your money isn’t helping an elderly man, and it isn’t going to any shelter. Total scam!!

Complete scam

The “Schnauzer Lamp” I received is materially different from the product advertised on their website.
It is a low-quality plastic toy from China, whereas the site describes a family-handmade Tiffany-type lamp resembling a Schnauzer.
I contacted Wooflamp.com twice by email for a refund as per their own guidelines, but to no avail.
Caveat emptor, this is not a site anyone would like to deal with.

I placed the order

I placed the order - when I checked the progress of delivery.
It seems to have told it has been delivered, this is definitely not the case.
I have not received it & my neighbours have not received it either.
I have emailed twice to find out what’s happened with no reply.
£30 spent for nothing at the moment.
Paid with my CC so will have to wait to be able to claim this back.

Completely NOT as described

Completely NOT as described! These are fake stained glass. It's haphazardly painted plastic/resin with raised lines to simulate metal between the glass pieces. And not even a table lamp, as advertised, more like an oversized night light with a USB cord. To top it all off, they do not support animal shelters. This is purely for profit company. Such a rip off. WAY over priced. This is something that you would find in a Big Lots store. Also took forever shipped from China and got stuck in customs.

Cheap plastic lamp

I just received my woof lamp. It is not handmade or anywhere near as described. It is just a cheap extremely small plastic lamp, made in China. I am very disappointed and would encourage people NOT to waste your money.

Genuinely terrible.

Genuinely terrible terrible quality product - nothing like the advertised thing.

Please stay FAR away from this seller. I have issued a complaint directly and refund request - have also reached out to trading standards to report them.

Will update review pending their response.

Disgusting!!

Disgusting!!! Not as advertised at all. The first one they sent got broken so it too took ages to get the replacement, which was half the size and then they said they would send a refund and never did!! Do yourself a favour and don’t buy from here

SCAM ALERT

SCAM ALERT! They use stolen videos from Charles.ray576 and combine them with shelter videos to sell cheap plastic lamps at a premium price. It’s all a scam. You’re not helping the old man and the money is not going to a shelter.

The lamp that I received looks nothing…

The lamp that I received looks nothing like the one that's advertised on Instagram!! It's not handmade and the glass is spray painted...NOT colored glass.
Wow! I fell for the heart tugging b.s. about "Grandpa" who runs a dog shelter and hand makes the lamps to raise funds!!! What a scam!

WOOFLAMPS is SCAM!!

Omg!! I have been scammed, the dogs lamps I received were nothing which were shown in their website and posts!!! So disappointed that these pple made use of a “grandpa and his so called rescued dogs and shelter” to deceive pple to buy these lamps which they claimed they handmade themselves but turned out to be something else and which could be ordered from China website (only a fraction of their listed price)!!! So stop these scammers! DO NOT ORDER OR MAKE DONATIONS TO WOOFLAMPS!!!!

Total scam wooflamp and wooflamps

Total scam. Very clever adverts for dog shelter support suggesting they are hand made in the USA. Now we all know it's never going to be truly hand made But in reality it doesn't look anything like the pictures. It's just not even close. But the picture on the box is. And the sizes aren't even what they say. Total scamming crap if I could add pictures I would as you would realise how this is not going to be ANYTHING like the pictures. Don't waste your money it's literally fraudulent.

The reply from wooflamp is another scam. Total bullsh1t company. You're website is the same as wooflamps. If you say "they copied us your full of sh1t as your pictures of your family run business show a wood working business and the design that's on the table is housing structural plan. Another scammer.
