Kit doesn’t provide enough wool to complete
Beware! Wool for Rainbow Blanket Kit which cost £89 ran out in three separate colour sections meaning that the pattern could not be completed as per instructions. Simply not good enough. Have been purchasing knitting kits for years and have NEVER experienced this. If anything, yarn for kits usually errs on the generous side. My experience is that the company are not at all interested in this feedback.
No stars for customer service
Yarn supplied with kit was short. Not a big deal and easily remedied but company’s failure to acknowledge inconvenience or apologise for defective product because I dared to challenge them is staggering.
Do not respond to emails
I emailed customer services on 29 November, and did not receive a response. I have followed this up a subsequent three times, and still received no response, so it is impossible to get in contact with Wool Couture.

This review deals only with value for…
This review deals only with value for money. Having bought a penguin kit as a Christmas present I found that as I ordered I needed to buy a hook additionally. The kit was about £25 then the hook was £4 extra. When it arrived the whole thing was obviously too expensive but the hook was outrageous. Quality fine but value for money definitely not fine.

I purchased something from this company…
I purchased something from this company via John Lewis on on 1st December it never arrived though other items in the order from a different supplier did. I contacted John Lewis who said the item would be delivered on 16 of December. I received an E mail to say wool couture had chosen to send it by Royal Mail! Really when they know that there is so much disruption and my order should have been delivered weeks ago? I have tried to get an idea when the item will arrive obviously not before Christmas ! I would suggest no one ever orders anything from them again I certainly never will from such un caring company. I will now go and and find a company that actually cares about their customers to get this present replaced.

More than a week from order to dispatch
I ordered a knitting kit with the intention of knitting this as a Christmas present for my niece. I ordered on 5 December, with estimated delivery date 12–14 December. I understand current Royal Mail strikes are getting in the way of delivery times, but I was extremely disappointed that my order was not even dispatched until 13 December, especially considering most of last week did not have the mail strikes but 14 and 15 December will. Assuming this even arrives in time by Christmas, I am now extremely worried about finishing the project in time for Christmas to gift to my niece. I would not recommend any company that needs more than one week to dispatch an order without explanations or apologies.

Appalling customer service
Beware, really poor customer service. I bought a crochet kit for my daughter's birthday; it was meant to reach me by 8 Dec ( her birthday). Today is 12 Dec and has not arrived yet. I have contacted the business and they have suggested I can refuse the item when they attempt to deliver it but the postage will be deducted from my refund. Simply unbelievable! My order was placed through Not in the high street website. The other item on the order ( from a different company) arrived on 7 Dec, however they are trying to blame the postal strike instead of taking responsibility for sending off the order too late. I obviously won't be using this company again and won't be recommending it either. There are plenty of other companies online who know how to look after customers,i.e. Wool and the gang

Hi ..love your patterns but I'm a bit…
Hi ..love your patterns but I'm a bit stuck on Robyn Octopus. I have watched your video carefully and followed 'making the bobble' on tentacles. After creating the bubbles my number of stitches reduces from 57 to 46..I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. Knit into front and back of next 2 stitches, turn and purl these 4, turn and K 2tog twice so 2 stitches remaining then pass first stitch over 1st..this is where the stitch is lost . The pattern goes on to say on Row 8 K50 before W & T but there are not even 50 stitches left at this point ..please could you advice. I've tried 3 times with same result ..apologies

Easy instructions to follo
I found the instructions pretty straightforward. Was a bit confused by right side and wrong side. Also there is an instruction saying yo but this is listed in the abbreviation. Cardigan is finished and looking pretty good for a first attempt after a 40 odd year gap!

Buy by length?! OK
The reason that I liked using this company is when you buy the epic merino yarn you can buy in extra lengths and it tells you sizes ect. It was so useful, I buy ALOT of wool and if all yarn was able to be bought in length my projects would look brilliant and have no loose ends
