Hosts often don't answer at all, or take a reeeally long time to do so, or do answer but then ghost you. It's not only annoying but it also makes it hard to plan ahead. It would be helpful if Workaway could find a solution for this.

The app sometimes malfunctions; Scrolling down suddenly not possible anymore, or the map doesn't open. Also sometimes messages don't get sent and just vanish somehow. But all in all I like to use the app to view hosts and to contact them.

Other than that I really like the oppertunitys workaway can offer. I like that the subscription doesn't automatically renew, but your profile is still saved for later use.

Workaway is a great connection between people. It changed my life positively.

Workaway provides a clear statement of aims, or that’s as I interpreted it. On one level the host provides lodging and meals, the guest provides assistance with agreed tasks. But on another level the program encourages the forging of connections through cultural sharing. For example I want visitors to think about how central indigenous Australians are to country, retaining knowledge for tens of thousands of years. They are custodians of the longest living culture on earth. I also want to know the perspectives of those from other countries, so valuable. And I like, over the days, finding ways to share - skills, food, ideas, laughs and to move forward, finding solace not criticism in the other. The Workaway scheme gives a positive way through these fractious and intransigent times

Workaday is an amazing platform that allows people to connect, volunteer, host, travel, learn and make friendships for life. I highly recommend it.

Workaway is a life saver. I want to travel so bad but don't have the means and really want to get to know the locals and how other people live. Workaway allows me both and I've had such amazing experiences.

My housemates and I were new to Workaway and, as three solo women, there was a slight concern at inviting complete strangers into our home under the Program. Our concerns have proven to be completely unfounded and it has been a joy (as well as seeing the job list reduce considerably!) to share our house, our table and our culture with young people who have obviously been well vetted and who are also concerned to maintain their own reputation with Workaway. Six months on and we now recommend Workaway to anyone who will listen and cannot rate it highly enough.

Meeting people coming to my place to volunteer is something that I am so grateful for.

Workaway is the best way to travel for cheap prices while getting to know people from all over the world, learning more about the culture of the Country you're travelling to.

I have used workaway for some years already and like it. I would like more filtering options, e.g. “show options with private rooms” only.

I love to travel about Workaway! It’s a nice way to really get into the different cultures. To be part of a family from a different culture is way better then traveling around and just seeing the country like a tourist. It is also a cheaper way of traveling. Most of the time you get food and accommodations if you help them on the farm, in the household ore with the children.
Sometimes it needs a bit time to find the right place but if you found one then you will have a great time!
