Incredibly counterintuitive
Incredibly counterintuitive and difficult to effectuate even simple tasks. Can’t imagine a platform/interface that is less user friendly.
What a joke
What a joke! We decided to switch our registration/student records from Colleague to Workday and it is the most clunky, too-many-steps-to-do-one-thing system I have ever worked with in higher education. So disappointed - to say the least.
Worse application form
I was going to apply for a job as…
I was going to apply for a job as Regenerative Agriculture & Sustainable Sourcing Senior Manager – LATAM for Unilever, but now I'm not going to anymore. Any other companies using wORKday should seriously reconsider, because more and more people are getting fed up with this useless garbage.
Autofilling never works. Complains my name is capitalized, and when I fix it, it won't register the correction, and wont let me continue the process.
So that's it for me when it comes to using wORKday. Many bad experiences in the past. This time with unilever was the last time.
Terrible Experience
Difficult to login, and nothing but babble on the rare occasion when you can. By far the worst employee portal I have ever dealt with.
The website doesn't like anything
The website doesn't like anything. Search for a basic degree...lol it locks up the computer. Doesn't like dates, doesn't like empty boxes that are totally optional. Needs to be eliminated. Paper and pencil are better.
Every company using Workday sucks
Workday’s HRM/ATS system isn’t just bad, it’s a nightmare factory designed to make job hunting even more miserable than it already is. It’s like someone sat down and asked, “How can we make applying for jobs feel like filing taxes on dial-up internet?” and then built this.
First off, why does every single company using Workday force you to create a brand-new account? I swear I have like 12 different Workday logins at this point, each with a slightly different password because one universal login is apparently too much to ask for. And for what? To get the privilege of manually re-entering my entire work history again because Workday refuses to acknowledge the résumé I just uploaded?
The UI feels like it was designed in 2003 and never updated. Clicking anything comes with a 5-second delay, and if you so much as breathe near the "Back" button, congratulations, you’re starting over from scratch. Mobile users? Forget it. Workday actively punishes you for trying to apply on anything that isn’t an outdated desktop.
And then there’s the best part: the application black hole. You hit submit, get a “Your application is under review” email, and then… nothing. No updates, no rejections, just pure silence. Did they even see my application? Did Workday just eat it? Who knows.
At this point, I’m not even applying for jobs anymore, I’m just collecting Workday accounts. Maybe if I get enough, I can trade them in for an actual job.

Terrible user experience
Terrible user experience. I have to set up a new account for every job application. I had to fix my application 3 or 4 times as they did not save information I was entering. They also would not let me enter my degree information when entering education. I finally tried one more time after I finished the rest of the application and fixed the other information that was missing. They did let me enter the info, but it should not be this difficult to fill out a job application.
Come on..all the reviews are the same
Come on..all the reviews are the same. It is bad on all aspects
COMPANIES PLEASE STOP USING WORKDAY
I hate this platform. As a student applying for graduate jobs in my third year I am so busy attending uni, work, writing my dissertation and dealing with other responsibilities, that spending over an hour on each grad job application is ridiculous. The job market is already competitive enough, companies don't need an hour long assessment for each candidate they should narrow down their process. There has also been a lot of errors I've noticed when doing competency based tests on Workday making it unfair for applicants. I wish companies would make application processes clearer and narrow it down to waste less time for everyone applying for such competitive roles. It would also be nice if they got to know us as individuals more.
Absolutely awful platform
Absolutely awful platform. My heart sinks whenever I see a company uses this trash site. I have to clear my cache just to log in and that only works sometimes. Forget about importing your work experience--it either won't or won't do it correctly. Companies--please stop using this garbage application site. You are losing out on talent that doesn't have the patience for their incompetence
AWFUL - NOT User Friendly
Workday is a time suck. We may as well be writing everything down by hand.
I don't know what it would take to make this a useful platform in which to perform the most basic of tasks, no matter what business you are in. WHY is it necessary to go through so many steps just to clock in/out - and then add to it that you have to do this for a meal break too. Trying to find ANYTHING is nearly impossible in the search field. I waste so much time trying to find the EXACT wording in order to navigate to a destination. Then when I get there, the amount of time it takes to complete a simple task is frustrating beyond words. When entering time off - why must I also leave a comment - the drop down box that I chose from IS THE REASON!
I am not pleased, I am actually angry with my employers choice to move forward with this integration.
Definitely the worst platform I have…
Definitely the worst platform I have ever come across for recruitment and job applications. They are SO bad and don't even have a way to contact them for feedback or complaints. They call their link "customer-centric support" but can only contact them for sales. No care about the users. The recruitment application forms are very clunky, and horrendous user experience. I dread every job application I have to put in through this platform.
I don't know why companies use it when there are so many better ones out there.
Do you all agree
Do you all agree? Worst of Worst,
Inefficient and Redundant Data Entry: The system requires candidates to manually input excessive amounts of information that could be streamlined through auto-fill functionality or logically grouped fields, leading to significant inefficiencies.
Suboptimal User Experience: The platform excessively fragments information across numerous fields, resulting in an unnecessarily prolonged and cognitively exhausting process that contributes to user fatigue and decreased productivity.
Deficient Date Entry Functionality: The date selection tool is poorly designed, lacking intuitive functionality and causing undue delays in data input, which further hinders the efficiency of the application process.
Absence of a Formal Feedback Mechanism: There appears to be no established method for users to report system inefficiencies or provide constructive feedback for improvements, preventing necessary refinements to enhance usability and functionality.
This is the worst application platform…
This is the worst application platform and I am 100% sure no one has ever got hired through them. Companies are missing out on excellent, qualified, and perfect-fit candidates due to this horrible system. I do not understand how they remain in business. In addition, whenever I see Workday I do not bother to even apply it is guaranteed a waste of time. The whole system is an Epic Failure!
The worst platform used by hiring…
The worst platform used by hiring companies. There is no customer service for resetting passwords. AI resume reads always require additional accuracy adjustments. It's very time-consuming and not prospective candidate-friendly. It seems that it is hacked not one job offer from any employer using this platform. Keywords and other filters do not seem to work appropriately for screening talent.
Worst platform I have seen
Worst platform I have seen.
Basically whenever you like to enter a project or apply for anything - when Workday is used as platfrom - just close your browser and forget it. I tried multiple times to enter this platform - not working. Safe your time and avoid frustration.
It is the most basic
It is the most basic, frustrating piece of rubbish, I have ever used. I have been trying to reset my password for 30 mins and keep getting stupid messages. it looks and feels cheap. This ain't my first experience with this issue, it really is crap.
Disgusting Garbage
can't express how much I hate workday. Stupid garbage
