I applied for a position here over a month ago. I did not receive any communication aside from the automated acknowledgment of my application. Recently, I received an email stating that I was being moved to the next stage, but at the same time that I was being removed from the list for not responding to previous emails—which I never received.

Be aware: if a company cannot reliably communicate during the hiring process, it may reflect on how they handle other communications as well.
