We contacted worldwide moving so we could get competing bids from recognized professionals for our move from the UK to Texas. We were subsequently contacted by three organisations who went into detail about their company and services. We selected one of these and the move is planned for the beginning of June. I would recommend this method for ease and efficiency.

Three moving companies were suggested by them on the Friday and I got my first quote the next day (on Sat) and received a call from the second company on Monday and the quote on Tue. I thought this is sufficient quotes for me but Worldwidemoving.co.uk actually did follow up and asked if all has responded and I said the third did not respond. After thus follow up, I actually received a call from the third company the next day. I eventually chose the second as they provided clear responses and also can help relocate my car as well as home goods.
