Created my freelancer status in France. Deposited my brand name. And received a 937€ invoice some days later. I d be a sacred uninformed entrepreneur, i d have paid it. Shameful business technics.
Misleading at best. Sent out something that looks like an invoice that needs paying and in small text add a disclaimer that it isn’t a demand for payment but rather them offering a service with no obligation to pay.
If you get a letter from them suggest the best course of action is to recycle it as soon as possible.
The parent company has been found to have breached advertising standards in the UK for sending out such ‘marketing’ in the past.
