Alfredo Loyola: Painstaking Competence to the Rescue!
Alfredo Loyola spent 2.5 painstaking hours with me investigating why WPRocket wasn't caching - including helping me set up a staging site for a plugin conflict test.
When we found the offending plugin and got rid of it, we still had a high LCP score, and since that was the reason we were in there, he continued to help me narrow the issue down to lazyloading images above the fold and advised we turn Autoptimize's feature to ignore the first 4 images above the fold.
The site was returned to top performance - Thank you so much, Alfredo! You're the best. (And a hearty thank-you to Alfredo's many WPMU DEV colleagues who worked the problem with me during the past week. VERY much appreciated.
