this is the most reliable service i used so far

I’ve used 1001SMS a few times for temporary verification codes, and my experience has been a bit of a mixed bag.

The Good: When it works, it’s great. The website is relatively easy to navigate, and I appreciate the variety of countries available for selection. For most mainstream apps, I received the SMS code within a minute, which is exactly what I needed.

The Not-So-Good:

Failed Numbers: I’ve had a few instances where the numbers provided were already flagged or "already in use" by the platform I was trying to sign up for. While they do offer refunds for failed codes, it’s a bit of a hassle to keep cycling through numbers.

Pricing: Compared to some other providers in the space, the rates feel a little inconsistent. Some services are cheap, while others seem over-priced for a one-time use number.

Support: Getting a quick response from customer service can be hit or miss.

Overall, it’s a solid backup option if your primary SMS provider isn't working, but there’s definitely room for improvement in terms of number reliability and pricing transparency.

Insanely great service most of these Activation services don't work but you can find any country and do any service 10/10!

They advertise a japanese phone number for 1 month as being available and prompted me to charge my account with 25$. After doing so, my card was charged with 30$ instead. With 25$ in my account, they gave me the error message that the japanese phone number is not available! Even though it still shows up as available on their website. I contacted support over a month ago to get my money back and never got a reply. I feel scammed.

easy to use. if you don't get the verification code, you cancel the number, get a full refund in a sec and choose another number. really helpful.

I'm extremely unhappy with their service. I topped up the account for $25 to rent a number. Then the price changed to 25.4. I topped up again with the minumum $10, that turned my total balance to $35. An when I tried to rent a number - I received an error from their site that that number cannot be rent. I tried to buy it three times, no succes. Then I wrote them asking to explain what's going on - to let me rent or make a refund. 48 hourse - no reaction. Now I'm filling a complaint to my bank to make a chargeback. Don't recommend anyone doing business with 1001 sms.

A very good platform to recieve sms from temporary number.

I had a very frustrating experience with this service. I tried to purchase a China rental number, but when I paid through Alipay, I got an error message saying that the country is currently not available. Despite that, my payment of $114 still went through, which makes no sense. I was charged for something I cannot even use. This is extremely disappointing and feels unreliable. I’ve already requested a refund and expect it to be processed as soon as possible. Situations like this should not happen, and there should be better system checks in place to prevent charging customers for unavailable services.

Nice UI, worked well for my use after a few tries.

Works large majority of the time have issues with couple numbers but luckily can cancel order and try new number
