Horrible

Horrible, wouldn’t give even 1 star if there’s the option.
I called and the lady asked me what I think could help. So I told her I wanted to talk. And then she told me this is not place to talk they only offer advice to deal with suicidal thoughts, like going to the GP or therapists. But then they were exactly the people who asked me to call 113 when it’s not their office hour!
So I refused and said I just wanted to talk a little about the feelings that were pushing me to the edge, she agreed and said that it’s also part of what they can help. And only listened for about 3mins before she decided that ‘we’ve talked enough and your issue is not what we can deal with here in one call.’
Hello? Is any problem that can lead to people’s suicidal ideas solvable in one call? And this was when I already told her I have regular therapy and I just needed to let the thought off my chest at this moment so they’re not that intense anymore.
Then she just hanged up.

I called twice

I called twice. The first one who I called was helpful and help me through I thank for that (that s why 2 star). The second who I talked with had the emphaty and life experience of a tea spoon. She said to me after I said I have an active ptsd and thinking about self-harm, that this line is for people who actually wanna kill themselves. I can bleed away when I self harm.

I had to hang up the line to protect myself and her.

Please don t put people on the line who are not prepared. On one hand they make more damage than help. Second hand they get a secondary trauma. I wanna get help, not traumatise others.
