Positive Outcome

This has been a pleasing experience for my wife and I with the aim to establish Joint Wills. An appointment was made and what was pleasing with consultant Joseph Alexander was a combination of: free first visit to our home, briefing on the merits of establishing a Will and an explanation on Trusts.

We opted for The Essential Package: Joint Wills, 2x Health and Welfare Lasting Power of Attorney (one for each partner) and 2x Property & Financial LPA’s (one for each partner).

We requested a telephone meeting for next day and this was arranged, consultant was Rowenna Rhys. The appointment was on time and we communicated relevant information. A paper copy shall be sent to us in the postal mail.
Our questions and clarification requests were answered. Overall a positive outcome.
We hope this is of help.

Warm regards

Richard and Marina

Property Trust

Our Estate Planning Consultant was Will Todd.

He was friendly and explained very thoroughly everything about the Trust, how it works and the costs involved. He explained what could happen without a Trust if our circumstances changed.

Very disappointed with this company

Very disappointed with this company. Appointment made and confirmation email received from them, but then consultant failed to turn up and it was up to me to contact 1st Line Future Planning to find out why. First of all they tried to tell me that the appointment was for yesterday and that it was me who failed, then when I pointed out that the email with today was right in front of me it was suggested that they tried to contact me yesterday but I didn't respond. I had no call and no missed calls yesterday.
If this is how the company begins to offer a service then I cannot trust them with my future planning.

Stay Away!…

I would strongly advise anyone considering 1st Line Future Planning to stay well away. My experience has been extremely poor from start to finish.

They use cold-calling tactics and pretend not to know you, just to convince you into making a booking with an unqualified consultant. Despite what they advertise, they have no accreditation as a company. The accreditation they mention only applies to a single Director—not to the business itself. Even the Society of Will Writers, whom I contacted directly, confirmed that their advertising does not comply with the Society’s charter and rules.

When I raised my concerns, I requested a refund. Only after persistence did I finally get my money back, which says everything about the way they operate.

The biggest danger is that you truly have no idea what you’re buying from them, and you have zero protection if they mis-sell you something. Worst of all, you won’t even be around to deal with the fallout—your family will be left picking up the pieces.

Avoid this company at all costs.

DO NOT THIS BUSINESS

Whatever you’re looking for DO NOT use this business. I’ve been waiting 17 months (since Jan 24) for my Deeds to be altered and I am still waiting.
I paid £480.

Shocking Service

This company cold called me to discuss estate planning first talked about life insurance policy that I had taken out with another company that was just a tactic they use . I decide to set up power of attorney .They emailed me something to sign which I did .now at no time was a cooling off period of 14 days mentioned . I had signed for finance to cover cost . I did mention a few times what if I decide not to proceed again no 14 days cooling off was mentioned . The documents arrived but my adult children would not sign said it was not worth the money £760 . I then noticed a company called Funeral Service Direct had taken a direct debit from my account if £38 I cancelled direct debit and contacted 1st Line Future planning to advise I was not proceeding and they said I was outside 14 days cooling off period and could not cancel.
The fact is it was well past 14 days when I received the documents to be signed . Then Funeral Services direct started hassling me for the money said they had paid 1st Line Future Planning £760 and therefore I had to pay them or debt collectors would be involved and affect my credit score . Please do not be conned by 1st Line Future Planning who are introducers for Funeral Services Direct
