two weeks waiting for my exhaust courrier's had it for 5 days and they aint turned up i was given a tracker consignment code but it does not exist fair play they pulled the wool right over my eyes now i realise how much my phone bill is going to be with all these bad reviews ive seen on here how in the hell do they still have a good success rate i think this is one for matt alwright #watchdog.

Disappointed with 247 spares.
The telephone call to their recommended supplier cost me 77p a minute.
I cannot find any reference to call cost on the website - the number appeared to be for a standard mobile telephone.
The supplier from Rochdale who responded to my very clear part request did not actually have the part available.
247 Spares have no complaint procedure, hence this review.
I won't use them again and I recommend that you never use them!!

Throttle body on my toyota was faulty and was quoted £1,200 by main dealer to replace with new .This was simply not on .Placed details on 247 spares and was phoned next morning by most helpful Mick from Manchester Autos who had correct reconditioned part for £120 . It was delivered carefully wrapped 2 days later as promised and now fitted by local mechanic for £50 .Car is now running smoothly with no problems.
The above figures speak for themselves .I must compliment 247spares for their excellent service on this occasion-and Mick for his prompt and efficient service

Needed a gear selector for my Vauxhall Vivaro. Put out a parts search on 247 spares and within literally 30 seconds I received a call from tim from Rochdale Van Breakers who gave me a competitive price. I ordered over the phone and received my part the following morning. very happy with the service will defiantly use 247 again

Baught a radiator fan a week ago for a next day delivery. Still not here. TNT lost the parcel (what a coincidence) Now struggling to get a refund. 247spares accept no responsibility and I have no details of their "magic" supplier.
Will go for a chargeback if not then Trading Standards and small claims court eventually.... The worst thing is I am going abroad in a few days and have no f..in engine cooling in my car.

Seriously don't waste your time on this company

Warning: premium rate number with some very expensive (and crap) music to listen to for as long as you are stupid enough not to hang up. If you ever got a part from them then I'll guarantee it will be rubbish. How can they sleep at night running an outfit like this???

Ordered a part 2 weeks ago. Was told it would be with me two days later. I recived it 2 weeks later and it was the wrong part. it seems impossible to get through to anyone who can help without spending more money on the phone listening to 5 minutes of automated messages (attempting to cover thier backs) I'm skint, was stuck with my car broken down and desperately need the part, they really have effed me over! Never use them!

Quick quotes... Expensive phone lines with usually no answer. Have managed to get through to only one of the "suppliers" but they have been unable to process my quote the last two days because their internet is down?

Getting a little sick of calling people and not getting what I need.

I put a very specific request in for mechanical parts. Within 15 minutes I had a 'hit' with a competetive quoted price.

There was an 070 premium rate number I had to call to check details, with no rate warning to tell you that it would cost you a fortune. I called it to see whether I could get the car breaker name - there was a lengthly recorded message which I put down again after a minute or so.

I went on ur sight looking for a part for car had great response and ended up goin with a1 jap spares.....big mistake!! This was in january i'm still fighting with them spending a fortune on phonecalls an sendin parts back to them i think they should be removed from ur search sight!!

I ordered a part on the Monday told I would receive it Wednesday the next day I was phoned and told I had ordered the wrong part and it was going to be Thursday and nothing arrived so I phoned they said oh it will be Friday still nothing so I said put the £50 back on my debit card it will be 3 working days and nothing so once again I phoned next excuse its our finance department but you will get it in a couple of days 2 weeks later and nothing again I told them I was going to trading standards there reply do what you want we don't care.

The most unbelievably horrible people at this company who promised all and delivered nothing, then cancelled our order without telling us. I WOULD NOT TOUCH THESE PEOPLE even if they were the only ones who had the parts! I cannot believe they could be so rude or tell such untruths/excuses and anything else they could think of to get me off the telephone.

I was disgusted with this company, I ordered parts,they were wrong, i sent them back and they said they i had to get Volvo parts, so i asked for a refund. It was on 13th August it is 8/10/13 and still no refund. I spoke to them according to my phone bill over 15 times. One man said, every time i rang he would ring me back.He didn't speak English very well. Another man said he would refund me, and hasn't. I have just reported them to Trading standards and will be contacting Watch dog about them. They are so wrong.........

I was quoted a good price, then found out it wasn't even the correct part for my car despite giving them the details including the registration.
Sadly discovered after reading the reviews here that I'm likely to have a massive phone bill after being led a merry dance.
On the phone I was treated with contempt because I'm a woman. Cannot recommend somewhere that rips you off in phone bill costs for something they don't even have! I found a much better site that was free to use, and wasn't premium rate numbers to ring for checking out the quotes so I can honestly say DO NOT USE 247spares.co.uk, use other reputable ones.

When you ask for a quote you'll get offers by text and what looks like a mobile number to ring. They don't warn you in the text that the call is not part of your free mobile minutes but actually a premium rate mobile number that will cost you a fortune while you're sat on hold or going through the menus. There is absolutely no warning on the text about the charges of ringing this number which begins "07034" and looks like an ordinary mobile.
If you go on [external reference] com you are given genuine mobile numbers so its easy to think this is the same. It's not!

Don't get stung by the website claiming "Receive no-obligation trade quotes on cheap car parts within minutes via email, text or telephone absolutely FREE" because as soon as you reply their premium phone line cash registers are ringing up the profits!

If you look them up on Companies House, you'll see that they change registered address several times from Warwickshire to Essex to London, The directors and secretaries are appointed then resign the next day. Make of it what you will but to me I can't really give them the benefit of the doubt that there isn't something sinister here.

Fabulous response to my request for a full steering rack, with pipes intact.
When the rack arrived, the pipes were missing - one phone call to the yard and they explained that 'the lad' had been told to pack the lot but 'he forgot'.
The very next day the pipes were with me, at no extra cost and my car was repaired and back on the road.
I was sceptical at first, but all my fears were unfounded.
I highly recommend 247 spares - just be exact in what you're requesting and wait for it to arrive.

Filled in my details and part required, sat back as lot's of offers came in. I followed the tips and did not accept the first offer, when i did the part turned up within two days a truly good service.

A very good service for people wanting to maintain their own car. My only reservation is that there is nothing in emails or on the website to tell you how much it is going to cost to phone the numbers given to you by email to source the parts. Is this legal?
