Misleading product description.

I so wanted to leave a great review but sadly i cannot, im being generous with a 3 star review.

I purchased an `ex-demo` Alpha SC-Z for my Ranger, delivery was quick, after opening and fitting to my Ranger i was disappointed to see dirt and algae in the drainage channel, the drain vents were blocked by leaves and sycamore seeds, the underside (interior) was dirty, there was no keys to lock the cover - although after a few calls i managed to speak to Bertie who arranged a new locking mechanism to be delivered. Yesterday i managed to find time to fit the new mechanism, upon removing the access cover to the lock i was disappointed to see that it had 2 bolts missing from the lock mech, it would not have locked even if i had been supplied keys. This leads me to the conclusion that it was a pre existing fault with a temp fix. To sum up, the cover was USED and not ex-demo, clearly for an extended time, that amount of algae does not appear in a few days or even weeks. For what i paid, i would have expected the cover to be at least clean and presentable and lockable with keys. The rubber seals look well used as well, i may have to replace one of them as it is distorted.

Shame my experience with 4x4at.com wasnt the best.

Kindness, availability and commitment in solving problems

I write this review from Italy.
I contacted 4x4AT support to inquire about purchasing an Alpha hardtop model that is hard to find in my country.
I was immediately pleasantly surprised by the kindness and helpfulness of the sales executive who helped me solve my problem.
Not being able to afford the very high shipping costs and customs duties, he advised me to contact a nearest supplier who was able to supply me with the product I was looking for.
He then helped me by providing precise information about how to intall the product even though I hadn't bought it from them.
What prompted me to write this review was the infinite availability and intention to solve the problems with commitment and humanity shown by the sales executive.

Excellent customer service

Dealing with 4x4AT was fantastic from the point of initial enquiry to placing our order. All goods arrived the next working day. A great service with excellant assistance in advising the correct product for ourselves. I would not hesitate in using this company again

Excellent Service from Bertie 5⭐️

Excellent customer service 5⭐️
From initial quote to delivery, I can’t fault any of the service received from Bertie.
Canopy is perfect and he was even able to assist with instructions for the removal of the existing trim when I couldn’t take it apart. Will definitely order from you again.

What can say but excellent service from NLG I ordered some wind deflectors and could not fault them quality was 10 out 10 and postage was super fast 👌 if you want quality products and super prices then this is the place to go to you will not be disappointed.

Kyle was first class

Had major problems customising my Ranger. Local companies compounded the issues causing stress and expenditure without the result. 4x4 sorted all the issues, they ain't cheap but you pay your money and take your choice. I'd rather pay the extra and get the result.
Kyle was brilliant, friendly, personable and knowledgeable, coordinating the whole process liaising with the fitter and making suggestions. Would have no hesitation in recommending.

Very Poor Service

I intended to customise a Ford Ranger either a little or alot. I was not sure so asked their sales executive advice on products. The only suggestion he had for my project was an immediate total customisation which was over my budget. I did like the look of a grizzly front so purchased to start the conversion along with larger wheels and tyres. After fitting I was not happy with the new front kit product I purchased. The product was not compatible with any extended wheel arches and this was confirmed after it was fitted. It is also fitted very poorly with a 5 mm gap on one side between the wing and kit. (pics still available). It looks like it was forced onto the Ranger on one side. I tried to get a refund to no avail and I found the sales executive to be arrogant, unhelpful and he simply didn't listen. He was very negative and also refused any attempts I made to speak to his manager. Overall I had to stop trying to deal with the situation as it was very stressful.

After having a couple of issues with a canopy I had fitted to my pick-up, Laura and the team couldn't do enough to make sure the issues were rectified and the job was right. A great product and 10/10 customer service. Would recommend to anyone.

LED tail lights, Ford Ranger

Ordered LED tail lights for a 2020 Ford ranger. Had a little miscommunication at first, was told the item was not in stock then a few days later the item was delivered.
I fitted the lights only to discover that there was a wiring issue with one of the lights. I have a feeling that these lights was a set that may have been previously returned due to the wiring issue. Either way James at 4x4at assured me a replacement light would be sent to me from the manufacturer. Was told it would be delivered in a few days but the fact that the back order at 4x4at wouldn't be due in for another 6 weeks I highly doubt that I will receive the replacement. I took it upon myself to open the light housing and repair the issue. Was a simple fix but something I shouldn't have had to do in the first place. Anyway the lights are now fitted and look great. As to other reviews stating that 4x4at do not reply to emails or calls, I had no issues with emails or calls and James was as helpful as he could be. Rating wouldnhave been 5 star if I hadn't had to fix the light myself.

Do not pay for 'back order items' you will wait forever!

What a nightmare! Placed order back in July, paid for item and was told at the time it would be in stock in September. Come September, no correspondence so contacted them to be told would be October. Parcel received in October, only to be the incorrect one. Took a lot of messing and phone calls for them to finally accept it was incorrect and collect the item back. Still nothing on the correct item coming to me. Chased again before Christmas, heard nothing back, now in January, still nothing. No item, no idea when should be receiving, no courtesy emails. Genuinely never known anything like it. People can only use the pandemic and shipping crisis for so long, especially when there are other suppliers out there who can despatch much faster! 6 months is a joke and I will never use these or recommend to anyone! Customer service/experience is shocking. You could at least keep customers updated when waiting for so long when a large amount of money has been paid to you!

Not having the best experience from…

Not having the best experience from these guys.
Bought bonnet scoop , took to two independent body shops to have fitted , both said the scoop was not moulded correctly for my ranger.
4x4 agreed for collection and refund, had to chase numerous times the collection and now a week later still no confirmation its been received. Don't want to go through hassle of chargeback but when you have paid and got no goods either and emails are ignored , what do you do ?
