Too young for positive outcomes
I've been considering investing with 8Lends but currently the company is too young. I see no reviews coming from:
-Major financial media (Bloomberg, FT, etc.)
-Serious crypto research firms (Messari, Delphi, etc.)
-Institutional analysts
I also can't find any stats on:
-Default rates
-Recovery rates
-Audited financials
-Stress scenarios, etc.
Frankly, good onboarding experiences hardly qualifies as good long-term outcomes. Before I invest any kind of serious funds, I'll need to wait and see how the company performs long-term and whay serious analysts have to say.

It is a complete nightmare to deposit/withdraw money.
It is so complex. It took me several hours and a couple of emails to be able to deposit money.
Then every single time the facilitator is diferent. So you have to upload a identity card and wait a day..
The fees of converting euro to stable coin and reverse are realy high so at the end of the day the high return does not compensate..
Is this supose to be the future of transactions? Then why are they much harder then a simple bank transaction?
I have invested with Mclear P2P (the original platform from the same company but without cripto) and it is great. Great returns, super simple. But this? This 8lends is a complete nightmare.

Mise à jour 30/03: 8lends a finalement fait un virement du montant dû pour le parrainage.
Je ne met pas 5 étoiles car ca a été très long (4 mois quasi) et a nécessité de nombreuses relances, mais au final, l'étoile en moins c'est pour la "lourdeur" du support et le besoin d'insister. Pour le reste, les bugs d'interfaces ont été réglés, les intérêts ont toujours été payés, les capitaux remboursés, et les taux sont tjrs aussi intéressants.
Mise à jour 12/02: 8lends m'a recontacté et dit que d'ici 2 semaines ils allaient verser la prime.
Les problèmes d'intêrets semble être seulement d'affichage et le bug devrait être résolu d'ici une semaine. Je reviendrais mettre à jour cet avis si tout se passe bien.
Investisseur de la première heure chez Maclear, j’ai voulu donner sa chance à 8lends en tant qu'’early adopter’. Si tout semblait correct au début malgré quelques bugs techniques, mon expérience a basculé suite à un problème de parrainage majeur.
J’ai recommandé la plateforme à un investisseur qui a placé 10 000 USD. Malgré cela, Maclear refuse de me verser la commission de parrainage de 6%. Le support Telegram nie toute responsabilité, prétextant un non-respect du protocole alors que j’ai fourni toutes les preuves et captures d'écran nécessaires. Leur communication est chaotique : les informations cruciales sont noyées dans un flux de milliers de messages sur Telegram (rempli de scammers) sans aucune newsletter officielle par mail pour nous tenir informés.
Plus inquiétant encore :
Retards de paiement : Un de mes projets indique des intérêts payés jusqu’en mai 2026, alors que nous sommes en février et que le paiement du mois n'est toujours pas effectif.
Manque de parole : Cela fait trois semaines que je prouve mon apport d'investisseur. Ils répondent par des "pas d'ETA" ou des réponses vagues, me faisant perdre plus de 1 200 USD suite à la prise de valeur du token 8LNDS que j'aurais dû percevoir il y a un mois.
J’ai cessé tout investissement et je déconseille désormais la plateforme à mon entourage. Si une gestion aussi simple qu'un programme de parrainage est défaillante, je suis légitimement inquiet pour la sécurité de mon capital global. À éviter. Je reste attentif a un éventuel dénouement positif et changerai peut être cet avis, mais je n'y crois pas trop vu la qualité du support..

Update 03/30: 8lends has finally transferred the referral bonus amount.
I’m not giving it 5 stars because the process was very long (nearly 4 months) and required numerous follow-ups. Ultimately, the missing star is due to the "clumsiness" of the support team and the need to be persistent. Aside from that, the interface bugs have been fixed, interest has always been paid, principal has been reimbursed, and the rates remain very attractive.
Update 02/12: 8lends contacted me and stated they would pay out the bonus within 2 weeks.
The interest issues seem to be purely display-related, and the bug should be resolved within a week. I will update this review again if everything goes well.
As a former Maclear investor and an early adopter of 8lends, I initially had a positive outlook. However, recent events have completely shattered my trust in the platform's management and support.
I referred a significant investor (10,000 USD), yet Maclear has failed to honor the 6% referral commission. Despite providing clear screenshots and proof, support has been dismissive, claiming I didn't follow 'protocol.' Their communication is unprofessional: vital information is buried in a chaotic Telegram channel filled with scammers, with no official email newsletters to track important updates.
Key issues I am currently facing:
Payment Discrepancies: One of my projects claims interest is paid up to May 2026, but it is currently February and the monthly payment hasn't even arrived yet.
Financial Loss: I should have received my 8LNDS tokens a month ago. Since then, the token value has nearly doubled, resulting in a loss of over 1,200 USD for me.
Vague Support: For three weeks, I’ve been told 'No ETA' and 'We'll see,' despite the investor I referred confirming my recommendation to them.
I have stopped all further investments in Maclear/8lends and am now actively advising my network to stay away. If they cannot manage a simple referral program with integrity, I am seriously worried about the safety of my principal capital. Proceed with extreme caution.
