AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I purchased a sweater from this online shop. It arrived with multiple holes despite the product advertised as 'very good condition'.

I sent pictures of the holes to the company upon receiving. Their exact response was:

'Sorry to hear we did not notice these pulls, which is common on materials like these. Unfortunately we would not be able to offer anything for this'.

I then replied asking them if they HAD noticed these holes, would it still have been advertised at the same price as 'very good condition'?

I've chased them 3 times on email but they are choosing to ignore me. Terrible customer service and misleading product descriptions.

Unless you like holes in your garms and sheer dishonesty, avoid this company.

PS - they are asking people to provide them with positive TrustPilot reviews in return for discounts.

Absolutely bang on

Order came in a timely manner, when I emailed customer service they got back to me as soon as they possibly could, item came as described in near mint condition for a vintage item, 10/10.

I placed an order round the start of…feb

I placed an order round the start of February 2022 and it's only been scanned once in Frankfurt on February 17 it is March 30 I'm in New Zealand so I had to pay double with the nzd to the pound I've been emailing them about a refund and they told me that they don't give it I have to get it through DHL so I contacted DHL and they said 97th vintage have to start an investigation so I can get my money back that DHL pay them and they have to pay me, but that's not the case 97th vintage is trying to say it's in transit but it hasn't left Frankfurt and hasn't been scanned since feb 17, I just want my money back now I think the out to rip people's money off with these reviews and my own

Just received an order of 3 lovely…

Just received an order of 3 lovely sweatshirts , which one was way out of size. I spoke to a lovely lad called Jordan on customer services who was extremely kind and helpful and sorted my issues out straight away. I will be back !

Very impressed with the merchandise and…

Very impressed with the merchandise and efficiency of the process. I ordered from Canada and received my clothes within a week and was provided with a tracker number that helped me see when my package would arrive. I will definitely order again from 97th Vintage.

Two months for shipping to Italy.

I'm from Italy. I place the order on November 30th and it arrive to me on February 9th.
The item is ok, but very bad the shipping method.
For all the time the Royal Mail and Italian Mail said there were problems with the custom office and new rules after Brexit.
I don't know.
Can be the last time I place one order in UK.

However, I can confirm there was no delays on our part, and your order was dispatched via the Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed service on the same day you made the purchase on November 30th 2021.

For future reference, we do offer an alternative international shipping service with DHL.

STAY CLEAR: No goods and no refund

I am based outside the UK and I placed a sizeable order for Christmas gifts on 1 Dec 2021 which did not arrive. It turned out seller delegates collection of Brexit related import duties to the courier. By time this was discovered goods were on their way back to 97th Vintage. They first said they needed to have goods back before being able to refund, but despite having confirmed goods are back, I am still not refunded despite multiple requests. Note that despite the fancy website this business is an (untrustworthy) one-man band.
UPDATE: After opening a dispute with PayPal, PayPal has decided in my favour for a full refund.

UPDATE2: As noted in the company reply below, they ask you to close the PayPal dispute claiming they cannot otherwise refund you. I had contacted PayPal about this and they said that this was not true. Furthermore, if you close the dispute, PayPal can no longer assist you. Be warned.

We are very sorry to hear there was delays with the courier. However, as discussed on email your order was returned to us from DPD because you did not make the payment for Customs Duties.

Paypal did not allow us to process your refund when the package arrived back at our warehouse because you had a Paypal dispute open against the transaction. We politely asked you to close the dispute in order for us to process your refund, however you refused and decided to wait until Paypal processed your refund for us.

Great Clothes!

Ordered from here once and so far not disappointed, a few seams burst that wasn’t mentioned on the wear and tear for one piece but easily fixed by a local tailor for cheap. Definitely recommend
