I took my family to Aamore for my birthday lunch- I had been before previously and had enjoyed it. The food is good and last time the staff were fairly friendly. However on this occasion, our waitress was rude and unfriendly and after preparing the wrong meal blamed us for the miscommunication. A simple apology would have been fine but after that she didn’t even let us know whether they were now preparing the right meal or not. It made a bit of an awkward atmosphere for the rest of the meal and I was disappointed.

Had a wonderful quiet meal here last week on a week night. Incredible service and impeccable food. Highly recommend.

I've been looking for a great little restaurant for ages and this is it. Chains can be ok but Aamore is a bit special. We were greeted by a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. Everything was spotless including the toilets. Food was excellent, hot, tasty and good value for the quality. One of our party had an English meal which was also excellent. Would revisit.

Nice little Italian restaurant and good gluten free pasta options

Despite being nearly empty asked for a table for 1 and was told i had to book a table and were fully booked .
I said id only be half an hour but rudely told i couldnt eat .
Need better customer service for local people

Had dinner there on a Saturday evening, lovely food, service was efficient and friendly, nice decor and atmosphere. I have rebooked to go again in a few weeks, I really hope this restaurant is well used and becomes a favourite in Chalfont

Good food, generous portion sizes, good value for money. The waitress was very friendly, helpful and obliging. Couldn’t fault it.

Romantic place with lots of selections

Excellent food and service! Beautifully presented and lovely atmosphere. Even my friend (who is Italian) was impressed 😊

Possibly one of the best eateries in Thame. Service excellent as was the food. Will be back very soon.

It was okay. The pizza was a bit doughy and the tomato base and toppings not strictly traditional Italian (tomato sauce really OTT with garlic and herbs and a funny brown colour), no semolina under base, sweetcorn on pizza etc
Quite slow service today to get our food.
Will try another day but were unable to leave an onion allergen out of basic arrabiata sauce so obviously prepared in advance.

A wonderful lunch . Excellent friendly service and the food was delicious. Definitely would make a return visit .

HIDDEN GEM: This place is superb! Stumbled upon it by accident but the standard is right up there with any top London Italian. Food was perfect, lovely staff and they have clearly spent a lot on the decor, it's a beautiful little spot. Apparently they have recently brought over 2 new Italian chefs. Very reasonably priced too, do give it a go...

Great little independent restaurant in Thame. Great service and the food is fantastic. Their Calzone is heavenly and soooo much better than the chain restaurants. Good selection of wine and all very reasonably priced. ( around £90 for 2 including a bottle of wine. ) Give them a go, you will not be disappointed.
