A&J lawrence work with warranty companies to defraud thier customers
The Garage is AA approved repaired as they are in cahoot with warranty companies and insurances to help them wiggle out of claims.
I took my car on amber, engine light. its a bmw 4 series. the computer says clutch failuire repasir. They advised AA and couldnt give any diagnosis without clutch. AA said i cant make claim with investigation. So i went ahead on A&J advice as they said AA were reputable. But i suspected foul play as they suggested i was carravaning withit despite it being a small car and having never had a tow bar. Lo and behold AA dismissed the claim and the garage charged me £300 for their investigation. Thyis is a fraudulent company. Insist to AA or any other insurance compant to take elsewhere. i disputed the extortionate fee and they called the police over it and refused to give my car back
Additional damage to vehicle and stolen aerial topper!
A&J Lawrence are an approved repairer for Direct Line. My car was picked up by them and taken for repair with damage to the rear bumper. When it was delivered back to me it had additional damage on the rear quarter panel above the bumber, a scratch, and a deep scratch on the front bumper. The latter damage could not have been done without the driver being aware...
More frustrating was the Buzz Lightyear aerial topper purchased at Disney World in the US, that went missing during its stay at the garage and is impossible to replace in this country.
The garage have confirmed it WAS on the vehicle when it went in, and suggest it must have fallen off, although it doesn't fall off at 70mph...
Very disappointing and no resolution as yet.
