I recently had the pleasure of visiting Palma de Mallorca, and it was an unforgettable experience. Here are some highlights from my trip:
Positives:
Beautiful Beaches: The beaches in Palma de Mallorca are absolutely stunning. Crystal clear waters, soft sand, and picturesque views made for perfect days of relaxation and sunbathing. They were less crowded than I expected, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Palma Old Town: Exploring Palma's Old Town was a highlight. The narrow, winding streets, historic buildings, and charming plazas gave me a true sense of the city's rich history and culture. The architecture, especially the Gothic cathedral La Seu, was breathtaking.
Caves: Visiting the famous caves, such as the Cuevas del Drach, was an incredible adventure. The underground lakes and impressive rock formations were awe-inspiring. The guided tour provided fascinating insights into the geology and history of the caves.
Tour Guide: Our tour guide was excellent – knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Palma de Mallorca. They enhanced our experience with valuable information. Since we were only non Danish family, we were bit lost due to language but they helped us when asked for.
Flight Experience: The flight to and from Palma was smooth and comfortable. The airline provided excellent service, and the journey was pleasant and hassle-free.
Overall, Palma de Mallorca exceeded my expectations with its beautiful landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and enjoyable activities. It’s a destination I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a mix of relaxation and exploration. I look forward to returning to Aarhus charter in the future to discover more of what other wonderful place has to offer.
