Abels Moving Services Reviews 

Abels have just completed Phase 1 of a complicated move to Scotland for us. Jane and the teams involved understood and accommodated its challenges. Unfortunately there was a mistake about the delivery address but this was sorted quickly and then the delivery was smooth and efficient.

I've had a dreadful experience with Abels. Antiques were damaged, items were left behind and many boxes were haphazardly packed. One was drenched in soy sauce! This was light years away from a 'white glove' service.

Abels handled our challenging move well. The team were very pleasant and helpful as well as efficient. Downsizing from a large family house to an apartment is a very difficult task. Abels pack delicate artwork, clocks and barometers with care.

As we all know moving home is very stressful and from the beginning ABELs aim was to relieve that stress. From my initial enquiry, the survey, to agreeing dates they did that. The team in the office and the movers where personable and professional. An additional factor for choosing ABELs for me was that I could donate items and store some items through them too. I highly recommend ABELs.

The whole service from quote to move was well managed and everyone worked tirlessly to make our move as stress free as possible.

Moves are stressful but Abel's professional service made ours smooth.Would recommend their services as they are professional to deal with and the moves were competent and helpful

Abels delivered my belongings which were shipped from Australia. From the moment Abels took over the shipment everything went smoothly. The communication was great - even when letting me know that the ship was delayed! On the day everything went according to plan. The 4 people who came were professional, took care of my belongings and the house and were just so friendly and helpful. They were great

An Abel’s driver scraped my car whilst I was stationary. He accepted liability at the scene only for the company/their insurer to then deny it. Thoroughly unprofessional. I would not recommend using them if this is how act.

Your reply is complete rubbish Neil.. I was stationary and witnesses saw your novice driver at fault. He said this himself at the time and my insurer said nothing of the sort. Keep lying. it says a lot about your company.

Abels are a professional friendly service,
knowledgeable and helpful, from beginning to end., from the quote, to excellent help from the Relocation Co-ordinator, to the team that came to pack the shipment., who took so much care. Nothing was to much trouble. This is the second time I have used Abels for an international move and I have nothing but high praise fro them. Thank you Abels

The experience with Abel’s was seamless. The packing crew came on time, they communicated expectations and were super friendly and approachable throughout.
They handled every item as their own.
The people in the office were super helpful throughout keeping flow of communication.
It really helped reduce the great stress that is part of moving homes.

Really lovely people who clearly care about getting it right for the customer. Highly impressive and highly recommended.

The service provided by this company is utterly deplorable. Irreplaceable family heirlooms were lost/stolen, and broken due to their incompetent packing. The damage was so severe to some items that repair was impossible.
Fortunately, some of the art was self-packed, so the damage incurred to these items was less than the rest of the shipment.

Following this incident, their customer service was equally abysmal. I strongly urge you not to trust this company with your life's possessions.

Update in response:
The items that were lost/stolen and damaged were the part of our shipment going to Hong Kong. My sister who filed the full claim report and a police report in Australia will also submit a review.

Top service from Jan and his team in a move from Paris to London, would recommend this crew with my eyes closed. It's always nerve wracking to move but they reduced our stress to the max, by being clean, punctual, organised, communicating well. No complaints 👌

Abels Moving Services were very effective. Admin staff Jane and Sue were patient always responding to my questions in due time and with helpful information.
The movers were also very professional with a friendly attitude, making this stressful process go smoother. All was done properly and in a very effective manner.

My previous experience of Abels exemplary service last August, encouraged me to engage them again.
This move was unexpected, but from the point of initial contact; the survey and office coordination was second to none.
To then receive a caring, professional and friendly service from a dedicated crew did much to alleviate the stresses associated with such an experience.
Footnote: I have worked in the relocation industry for over 33 years, so it is fair to say I am familiar with the business and client expectations.
I am therefore delighted to recommend Abels to all.
