John helped me secure a mortgage for the purchase of my first home, from start to finish his service was fantastic. He took the time to explain everything clearly and was quick to answer any questions I had. As a first time buyer he made the whole process smooth and stress free. I would highly recommend.

We had a great experience with John at Mortgages Abode. He was incredibly thorough and clearly very knowledgeable, taking the time to explain everything in a way that actually made sense. John was always at the end of the phone whenever we had a question, no matter how small, and he kept us fully updated throughout the whole process. Most importantly, he worked hard to get us the best deal possible. We felt supported and confident every step of the way and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

John is a seasoned professional in the mortgage arena. He knows the market extremely well and is an expert at matching your needs, however complex, with the best mortgage. Excellent communicator who always keeps you informed. Highly recommended!

We used Adobe Mortgages for our original mortgage 5 years ago, he is so professional and friendly and helpful. There was no question to use him again when we needed to re-mortgage. We had a very challenging and difficult time with a certain solicitors/Bank and John went above and beyond to support us and make sure we were ok. John was also able to recommend other reliable professionals involved in the process, e.g. a solicitor and building surveyor, who overall made the experience relatively stressless. Can't recommend John Carter/Abode Mortgages highly enough. As a (very old) first time buyer I needed all the help and John could not have been more helpful in helping me secure my first home. He was suggested to me by a friend who also used his services and I will be further recommending onwards.

John was perfect, nothing was too much effort. Be it speaking with Solicitors, Developers or anyone else who rose their heads he had it covered. At all times he kept us in the loop. Constantly on call no matter if he was on leave in the office or sick he would always reply. I would never use anyone else!

I think the common thought when going through the house buying process is that applying for a mortgage is an incredibly complicated, time-consuming and headache-inducing process. My partner and I certainly thought the same when we embarked on the process as first time buyers.

As it transpired, going through the mortgage application process turned out to be the easiest and most stress-free part of the whole process, but I don't think that would've been possible if we didn't have the sage guidance of John and Abode Mortgages.

John explained everything to us in easily digestible terms, clearly navigated us through the process by clearly explaining our options, making the document collation process simple, and keeping us updated through every step of the way.

John works to an industry-leading standard for a very modest price and we are so thankful that we had John hold our hand through an incredibly stressful house purchase as uninformed first time buyers, and he really helped relieve us of all worries we had.

John took all the stress out of buying a home, he sorted everything and was at an arms length when ever we Weren't sure on something. we also had a few issues with the sellers estate agents/ solicitors which John sorted promptly and nothing was to much of a fuss. Towards the end of the process John was also able to help us with a quality home Inscurance and the same with life cover and explained the reasonings behind his choices.

As someone who knew very little about mortgages and how to obtain one, applying for one seemed like the most daunting task!
John made it easy and as stress free as possible and kept me up to date all the time. John responded to all my queries incredibly quickly and never made me feel like I was asking silly questions.

John was amazing throughout the entire process. Our mortgage survived two national lockdowns, two sets of furlough, a redundancy and two job changes! Once we had our mortgage offer accepted John then talked us through some insurance and protection options. Once we selected the most appropriate (and cost effective) package John sorted everything on our behalf.

The service was friendly, professional and honest!! Nothing was too much for John and he really went ABOVE & BEYOND!
