Tried to make a claim for 4 small stone…

Tried to make a claim for 4 small stone chips, all well within the policy guidelines - initially approved and passed to their appointed contractor DWV. 1st onsite visit - I was told the job was too big and would need to come back, 2nd visit, DWV technician stated that 2 of the chips would result in requiring the whole of a bonnet and door to be resprayed - job too big and could not be done on site - only to put in writing that I had refused the repair - a complete lie. 3rd visit - DWV technician failed to turn up. Still fighting to get the stone chips repaired. Honestly feel that I have been missold and would not recommend anyone buying the MAPFRE Cosmetic Repair Policy - Please be aware!!!

Customer Service Cosmetic Repair Insurance

I have Cosmetic Repair Insurance purchased when I bought my Kia Ceed Sportwagon. I need to claim on this policy and the repair needed fell well within the criteria in my documentation. I have tried ringing on numerous occasions but nobody answers the phone. I have tried emailing along with all the details and photos but no reply other than an automated one stating they will get back to me within 30 days. I followed all the instructions in the How To Make A Claim section of the policy. The time limit for claiming is within 30 days of the damage occurring and as my original email was sent on 4 May 2021 this time limit has now passed. This insurance is not worth the paper it is written on.I don’t know what a company like Kia is doing promoting products for a company with such disgusting customer service!

Not worth it.

Not worth it.
I bought the Tyre and Alloy wheel insurance from these guys (when buying my new car through dealer Grange Landrover who is another miserable company). After 3 years I had small cut in the tyre and I contacted Abraxas. They asked me to take my vehicle to any nearest garage and check if it's a tyre cut or not and they cannot look into my claim straight away. I looked into their terms and condition and nowhere it says I am suppose to first get the vehicle checked by local garage and then only these guys will look into the issue. I gave up and did not chase on the claim.
Now, I am planning to get in touch with Financial Conduct Authority and get the explanation on this and if I can get back my money from this company.
