Excellent service from start to finish, great advice and design was just what I needed. The whole process was quick and easy to understand, always being updated on where things are and what the next steps would be. Can’t fault the team that installed the system, very proficient and worked hard to install in just a day. Handover was great, took time to explain the system and the app, as well as what to do to maintain and ensure things are running correctly. Handover pack with certifications and instructions arrived within the week. Would recommend AB Renewables to anyone that wants a solar install, first class service and an excellent team of people.

AB Renewables offer brilliant advice and customer service when you are going into the unknown. They were also very speedy taking 4 weeks from initial contact to job finished. The workmanship and the communication were all first rate, and they even manged to fit a couple of extra panels on the roof compared to the competitors.

Very professional experience from start to finish. The electricians were perfectionists and installed all wires and units perfectly. I'm an electrical/electronics engineer by education and know what an excellent job entails. Great support from the quotation all the way through to post care.

I found this company via a facebook add, I did a lot of reasearch before using them, not just their great reviews. Every person and department performed to perfection. Within the same week, the scaffolding went up, 16 panels fitted, tesla battery, and the scaffolding was taken down. I had a call ahead of visit and i requested that my existing car charger would not drain the battery, they did that. Communication could not have been better. Thank you, my energy bills have greatly reduced and now the numbers add up to have solar and a battery. 5 stars.

I shopped around with various companies but I found AB Renewables to be the most professional and helpful of all of them. From Quotation (Ryan - great bloke) to Flo in the office and the installation guys - I could not fault any one of them. Nothing was too much trouble! They turned up on time to fit my 20 solar panels and my Tesla battery did a fantastic neat job which we are very happy with the work men were clean and tidy and I will be recommend them to people if they ask and I dealt with Ryan for all the telephone conversations and he was there on the day nice guy very helpful 👍

Since starting my solar journey, I initially contacted another company who quoted me £16,900 for a system consisting of 17 × 465W solar panels, 20kW of battery storage, and a 3.68kW inverter. They told me that was the maximum number of panels my roof could accommodate.

Then I came across AB Renewables, where I had the pleasure of dealing with Ryan Oliver. From the moment we spoke, my solar journey truly began. Ryan took the time to clearly and thoroughly explain my options, helping me understand what would work best for my roof to maximise solar generation.

Ryan designed a system with 25 × 510W solar panels, 20kW battery storage, and a 10kW inverter—all for £17,000, including the installation of my electric car charger.

The installation was completed on 21st October, and despite heading into winter, I’ve already generated 175kWh of solar energy so far.

I highly recommend AB Renewables to anyone considering solar installation—it’s definitely worth it!

From first contact with Mike to the final handover, everyone was excellent. Even when we had a query the lead engineer answered and dealt with it professionally. Only criticism would be at the quote stage where by photos should be provided showing the products planned so you can question if it’s what you actually want. Other than that it was refreshing to actually get a company that does what it promises. Would highly recommend them to any one looking at getting a solar panel system installed.

From my very first contact with Mike in sales, I knew AB Renewable was the right company to choose. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and made the whole process clear and straightforward compared to the other companies we spoke too, plus no hard sales tactics like many others.

A local company a was very important to me. I did not want to buy from a national company who would just subcontract the installation out to another company or person. From quote to finished installation, all the people worked for the company, and were fantastic to work with.

One very small problem after the work was completed, and they instantly offered a solution with out any questions asked. Genuinely impressed with how it was handled.

Fabulous company to deal with.
After getting quotes from many national and local companies. Ben at AB was the only installer who looked to add panels on the lower part of my chalet style roof. After reading a number of horror stories of scaffolders not turning up etc I was attracted to AB due to being local ish to me. Ben didn't try and upwell and was very patient with my many questions.
Once id pulled the pin, Flo at the office was so efficient in getting the paperwork sorted and DNO application. About 10 days before install the electrican gave me a call and made some enquiries using the photos I'd supplied.
Come install week everyone turned up when they should. The scaffolders were great. On install day, three great guys arrived just after 7am and cracked on, not finishing until gone 6. The site was left clean, tidy and the app to control everything explained.
By next day my MCS certificate was issued and printed copies arrived a couple of days later.

A week or so later I received a call to check all was OK.
I cant fault AB, they did what they said they would, when the would for a very competitive price. The installation team were fantastic and scaffolding was cleared quickly.

We had AB Renewables install a 7.5Kw system with a Tesla Powerwall on our new build home in July 2024.
Ben was our main contact and he was, simply, brilliant to deal with. The system was installed quickly and efficiently, and commissioned without incident.

I was extremely impressed with AB Renewables throughout my recent installation of 24 panels and battery.

The whole team was extremely professional throughout – Jeff really knows what he is talking about and answered my questions thoroughly and quickly. I recently purchased a diy solar PV system 0.8kw with g98 inverter from AB Renewables. Was impressed with the help I have received. I had a few issues which was down to my house to outbuilding wiring which is now resolved. The output of the solar panels is better than I was expecting and can see clear results on their app and my smart meter. Normal daily running without solar is 14pph now -6 to 4pph with solar. Projected payback is around 18 months including install costs, I was anticipating twice this.

We recently had Aiko solar panels and a Tesla Powerwall 3 with Gateway installed by AB Renewables, and the entire experience has been outstanding.
