Winter Blues

We had been without heating and hot water all weekend,until Sam arrived.
He was punctual and very easy going.He diagnosed and fixed the issue within minutes,while happily answering my many questions.
Thanks Sam.Your a credit to your profession.

The Engineer was deployed on time…

The Engineer was deployed on time deployed via Tesco Insurance and arrived ready to tackle the issue. He was knowledgeable, polite and thorough and got the heating up and running.
Further tests were done to test the boiler, so happy with outcome.

Appalling customer service - ZERO STARS

Appalling customer service. If I could give zero stars I would. Boiler service eventually booked in. I hear nothing further. Day of appointment I call them to ask what time engineer will arrive. I'm told the appointment was cancelled the day before and rebooked for the following week. Nobody has contacted me. They tell me that they prioritise repairs and services just get moved. They assure me that the diary will be marked to not move the appointment the following week. here I am again, like Groundhog Day. No engineer, no contact from them. I call them and it has been cancelled again. Again I'm told repairs are prioritised so I ask if this will simply happen every time? I'm told a lot of companies won't do services over winter to which I say but you have signed up to do them, yet you simply don't honour them. Shocking attitude and service. Do not book as you will waste your time waiting for them to show and they never will.

Very poor sservice by the office

Very poor sservice by the office. Boiler service booked for Friday, waited in all day and eventually got in touch in the afternoon and they cancelled. Rearranged for Monday morning, I cancelled my plans but they didn't come. Said it would be afternoon so I cancelled my afternoon plans. They finally came at 5:30pm! I had wasted 2 days staying in. They never phoned me, I had to keep making contact. If only they had said it would be after 5 I could have gone about my normal day. Lack or organisation and complete disregard for the customer.
(No complaint with the engineer, just the admin)

Should be renamed absolute crap

Should be renamed absolute crap. Waited twice this week to get to top of long queue. To be told I’m next in line and kept me waiting another hour. Disgusting rubbish company who probably wfh and don’t bother answering the phone while they take the kids to school. Total rubbish company. Domestic & general need to bin them

Very disappointed - no show

Very disappointed with my recent experience. Booked a boiler service and nobody turned up. Had a text that morning to say that someone would be in touch to confirm appointment time but had no further contact and nobody turned up. I had booked a morning appointment and after nobody arrived, cancelled my afternoon plans to await late arrival. I sent an email asking for an explanation and that has also been ignored. Really hacked off with the lack of communication and poor service. Will not attempt to use again and shall spend my money elsewhere with someone more reliable.

Poor service provided by Absolute…

Poor service provided by Absolute Heating who was sent out by Axa/Privilege. Took ages to get a part which is an off the shelf part,a motorised valve. This didn't fix the issue as the valve body was faulty, the engineer came and said he swapped the part and the issue was still present and said it would be my own thermostat wiring. I went to have a look after the engineer left and noticed the valves had not been replaced and I could still see the old valve which had paint on them. They then lied to my insurance company and said they swapped the part, my insurance company then closed the claim. I'm still without hot water. I would avoid this company and I was promised calls to keep me updated which didn't happen.

This company doesn't deserve any star

This company doesn't deserve any star. After this company over charged to do a shoddy job on a boiler. Within 5 years I had to replace 2 boilers. The subcontractor jobs and do not care if the job is being done properly. I just had a new boiler installed because this absolute heating did a very bad job over the past years.

Absolute were assigned via our Domestic…

Absolute were assigned via our Domestic and General insurance for the boiler. There was a comms issue where D&G's system didn't alert Absolute to our repair booking but when I called them to query their arrival time, they couldn't have been more helpful to ensure (despite D&G's system error) that we had our hot water restored promptly. Their representative Sam came out early afternoon that day. What a polite and professional chap he was and within half an hour, the part that had failed was replaced and he navigated the NEST technology to get the hot water back on again quickly. Couldn't recommend them highly enough. Thank you and special thanks to Sam :)

Used absolute heating via an insurance…

Used absolute heating via an insurance claim with Admiral. Made a swift visit to the property and quickly diagnosed the issue with our boiler. A new part was ordered and the office called to arrange a return visit. Sam was extremely personable and knowledgable. The work was done quickly and boiler up and running again with safety tests complete.

Excellent service from Absolute Heating…

After contacting Domestic and General through my Scottish Power policy for boiler breakdown/repair an engineer from Absolute Heating was booked for the next day. Excellent service, fully informed of time of engineer’s arrival and reminded by text on the morning of the appointment. The engineer was professional, knowledgeable, polite, friendly and kind and repaired the fault immediately. Highly recommended - first class service.

What amazing service.

What amazing service..after a boiler failure an engineer from Absolute Heating attended within 3 hours under my Tesco Home Emergency cover..he identified the problem, and sorted it out very quickly. I’m so impressed!

Complete boiler fail on Sunday

Complete boiler fail on Sunday. Phoned and came first thing Monday morning. Ordered the part and fitted Tuesday afternoon. Sam the fitter was brilliant on every level. He put it down as emergency as I was just out from hospital after kidney surgery. Needing heat and hot water for safety and sterile reasons and he made sure everything was asap and working. Highly recommended. Thanks SAM.

Top service from absolute heating…

Top service from absolute heating called in as my mothers boiler had stop working and she is in her 90s they was able to attend the same day and sent a young lad called Tyler who worked hard and was able to get the boiler working temporarily till the parts he has ordered arrived. Could not recommend them enough Tyler definitely went above and beyond tonight staying till the boiler was working.

Absolute joke of a company

Absolute joke of a company! They’re registered with insurance companies for emergency cover yet are only open Mon-Fri 9-5… two days waiting with water coming through the ceiling only for them to not bother turning up or even let us know.. AVOID!!!!!

Thanks to Sam for fixing our central heating

Just had a visit from Sam to fix our heating. He was polite, well-presented, and had a sense of humour. He identified the problem quickly and as luck would have it, had a replacement part on his van so we had an immediate fix. He asked if we had had the boiler serviced recently, which we had, otherwise he would have done that while he was here. Not being the easiest of things to configure, he also offered to set the timing on the RF Thermostat Stat for us. Top marks from us!

Can't fault them

Just had Sam attend on an insurance call out. He called beforehand and arrived when he said he would, was polite and professional, diagnosed the issue quickly and talked me through it which I appreciated. Replaced the defective part and we are all back up and running. Would recommend.
